I've tried reaching this guy for over 6 months. He doesn't return texts, voicemail is always full, secretary doesn't know what's going on with my job.....he still hasn't paid the court's ruling. A complete unprofessional is an understatement. If you see him before the marshall, tell him to pay his court order.

Lawson Power Source accommodated a same day, last minute repair request, and in the process educated me about how to troubleshoot in the future. I will definitely contact them for future projects and repairs.

I just moved into a new home in East Hartford. I was finishing up setting up my man cave in garage & a breaker blew. Replaced breaker & nothing. Called Vic over @ LPS & he actually came to me on Saturday night. I had 1 breaker when I should have had 4.He walked me thru &what I needed done & came out to do the job on a Sunday night. He saw I had some extra cable & set me up w 2 extra breakers!! I am very happy with LPS & the job done. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Troy M.

On a scale of 1 to 10, Lawson Power Sources gets a 10+. Their workmanship is second to none and their customer service and satisfaction are off the chart. They were very responsive, timely and they have a very communicative approach to insuring customer satisfaction. The Team at LPS repaired and installed a roof at my home in West Hartford. they were wonderful! Caring, thoughtful and attentive to detail. I was so impressed with their commitment to the job and the skills they demonstrated. I have engaged many contractors in the past 40 years having completed three major home renovations and these folks really stand out as one of the best.

Victor and his additional installer came out to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet for an EV charger using Romex 6/3 with a 70ft run and 15ft rise. They were able to address and work through any unanticipated problems (such as the house's framing or a crowded panel). Victor was also very easy to work with and was able to work with me on the price of the project and was the best priced electrician for the install I wanted. Best of all, Victor and the installer were very personable throughout the project and were happy to offer adjustments and improvements to the project without increasing the cost. Great service.

I would give 0 stars if possible. Last fall Victor replaced my circuit breaker box after hours. I was very appreciative that he was able to come out at around 8 pm. He told me he would have to come back the next day to finish the job and he would be back around 9a.m. no problem on my end with that. Around 11 am I called to see if he was still coming. No answer. Around 12p.m. I called and he said he was at home Depot and about to leave and would be at my house in about 30 minutes. He showed up about 3 hours later with no explanation. He finished the work. He did have to come back about a week later to re- replace a for of the new breakers that were defective. Beyond that I have no problem with the work performed. He did mention that I would need some outside wiring replaced in the spring. Starting in late June I tried to call but just kept getting VM with a full mailbox. Website request for service went unanswered. A couple of weeks later Victor ( the owner ) called me. I told him about the outside wiring I wanted done and also wanted to have a transfer switch installed. He told me he would be out at 9..m. in 2 days. Of course he never showed up and never called. I wasn't about to call him back and decided to move on . Late that same afternoon I get a call from the office manager wanting to know if I would like to make an appointment. When I told her that I had an appointment for earlier that day and nobody showed up she got defensive and that there was a death in her family recently and that I didn't have an appointment made with her so it more or less didn't matter that I made an appointment with the owner of the company. I am very sympathetic to the loss of a loved one as I know how that is however to use it as an excuse for a lack of common courtesy is inexcusable to me. Showing up 5 hours after a scheduled appointment or not showing up at all without a phone call seems to be the standard business practice.

The service that I received was professional and timely. All questions and concerns that I had regarding the electrical panel repair was answered. Within weeks of the initial meeting with Victor and Karen, my bathroom was completely gutted and remodeled. Everyone was friendly and professional. And cleaned up everyday. Excellent job! I will definitely use their services again

I've attempted to get service from this company 3 times now. I was scheduled for 7/10 from 11-2, no call/no show. I called them to reschedule for later that day 7/10 from 5-7, no call/no show. I called them after that and got rescheduled for 9 AM 7/11 (this morning). No call/no show, and now I can't reach anyone at their phone number. From previous reviews posted on Angi, it looks like this company has gone downhill and fast over the last year or so. Several complaints of unfinished work, not able to reach the company for work that needs to be finished, and even an indication the company has left with a customer's purchased items for the replacement. Buyer Beware.

Lawson Power Source is an amazing group of people. From start to finish they made the experience effortless and sweat less. It's not too often you can give a vision to a company and they excute it with flawless precision and help you even when you don't have a vision. Five stars is not enough for this company. I could not thank them enough for the amazing work done to restore my home.

Victor and his crew were fantastic! They were very courteous and conscientious as they installed our new chandelier. I highly recommend Lawson Power! Victor and his team are extremely professional, have competitive prices, and are quick to respond to enquiries. I’ve actually had the chance to use them twice. Once for electrical work and once for some plumbing work.

There was some left over knob and tube in our house that we wanted gone, we also wanted an electrical panel update, GFCI plugs installed, and outdoor plugs installed…so a pretty significant job. We got 3 quotes but we felt most comfortable with Victor at Lawson Power; we received his quote quickly and it was very competitive ! We began work less than a week after our deposit. The actual job took about 2.5 days but It wasn’t a noisy process and there wasn’t much disruption (I work from home so obviously I need power)- maybe an hour of not having power. He also pulled all the permits and left the job site very neat.

The second time was for some plumbing work at a rental property. The plumbing problems were on-going, I’d probably spent well over $1k having people come out, diagnose, and a. provide a very temporary fix, or b. not be able to fix it at all (and I’m stuck paying for a diagnostic visit only). Remembering that Lawson Power also does plumbing I called, and Victor came out and gave me a quote. He was honest about the scope of what needed to be done, and the quote was reasonable. That job took about a day and now, the drains are running freely! The best part is he warranties his work for a year; so while I’m confident that the job was done correctly I have some peace of mind if I run into any issues in the next 12 months.

Phenomenal. If I had to describe my experience in one word, I'd use Phenomenal. Everything from the initial meeting to working with my insurance company (fighting on my behalf) to quick, high quality work, professional and courteous interactions, and respecting my home and family throughout the process. I never felt like a customer or a client. I felt like I was working with family (and not the annoying cousin). I truly appreciate everyone at Lawson Powersource. Vic and Karen are top notch.
