Tree reviews in Plainfield, Connecticut

Four 65 to 70 foot trees fell across our driveway hitting our home during and early March wind storm. Three trees of similar size on the other side of our home died from gypsy moth last year and posed an even greater risk to our home if they came down in the future. Tazmanian Tree Devil arrived this morning to handle both jobs. Within a few hours they were done. We greatly appreciate Tazmanian Tree Devil for meeting our needs, doing the jobs well, completing them safely, being on time, and for their wonderful customer service. Well worth every penny! Thank You!

Very good at what they do. Got rid of trees that were growing along a fence line, one horrid chokecherry tree and this juniper that got out of control. Got rid of everything I wanted gone. It's the cleaning up I was most impressed with. No mess left behind. I wanted some chokecherry logs for experimental BBQ purposes, they left me said pieces NEATLY stacked (thanks!) They arrived when they said they would and stayed until the job got done. The owner was personable and listened. Highly recommend.

Very pleased! Had 2 trees fall in my backyard after a thunderstorm. Called many tree services and left many messages…. Then I called Tasmanian tree devil … they answered the phone on the 1st call, came out the following day for estimate and the next day to remove the trees. They were prompt, professional and left me with a clean backyard again!! I highly recommend this company!!!!

REVIEW FOR THE TAZMANIAN TREE DEVIL CO.

Hired this company after careful research into various tree removal services.

Met with the owner Ed Adams and after some back and forth negotiations came to what my wife and I believed to be a fair and honest agreement. The deal was made with the shake of hands.

We had 5 trees removed and the 4-man crew who came to our home worked together, each knowing what the other was doing. They were always equipped with two-way radios which allowed them to be in communication with each other. I mention this to demonstrate the professional way they went about their work. They even performed a couple of tasks that were not part of the contract.

They arrived at the promised time, cleaned up at the end and finished ahead of schedule. My wife and I would recommend this company. They all knew what they were doing and were professional as well as courteous. Ed himself has shown us to be a true gentleman and a man of his word.

I highly recommend the Tazmanian Tree Devil! They are licensed arborists and they KNOW trees! I have used them to remove trees on two of my properties. Ed is amazing with his knowledge of trees and his staff is friendly, efficient, and very professional! After they completed the work, the property was so clean, no leaves or even saw dust was left! I highly recommend Ed and his Tazmanian Tree Devil service for any tree service you need!

Ed and his crew went above and beyond. They trimmed many trees, cleaned out lots of dead wood, and gave the whole yard a face-lift. Ed was funny, knowledgeable, hard working, and even taught us how to monitor the trees' health. If you need any arborist work done don't hesitate to call Ed!!

Had a great experience using Tazmanian Tree Devil. They took down 6 bushes and chipped three hefty piles of tree branches in my yard. I felt Ed’s price was fair for the work his team did and he was very professional. Great portfolio, too. I’d definitely recommend and use his company again.

100% satisfied customer. Came the same day I called and gave me a fair estimate. I had two large trees on the side of my home with limited access that needed removing. Plus one in front that required maneuvering around power lines. The crew came in skillfully and took care of the job. They left all the surrounding properties clean. Very pleased. Thank you

Ed and his crew did a fantastic job on a difficult high, 90 foot oak tree ,which required 3 very large limbs removed between two homes. The job was completed with 100% satisfaction ontime and the cleanup was done so well you would never have known so much was done. Would highly recommend this company.

Tazmanian was the fourth company to quote our job for us. I honestly wish they were the first. Not only is Tazmanian veteran owned, but the fact that Ed was so responsive, affordable and open to working with us made all the difference! His crew came out promptly and were very hardworking and thorough. If I ever need another tree removed, I'll give Tazmanian a call without a second thought! Highly recommend!

My wife and I hired Taz for the removal of several large trees in the back corner of our property. The owner, Edwin, was friendly and gave us an estimate within one hour of our calling. He was in constant communication with us (and our neighbors) and readily provided his insurance info.

The job itself was probably challenging due to the slope/grade of the area, not to mention very chilly temperatures at the time. But, he had a crew of 5 at least-- with the proper machinery to get it done...in 2 days I should add, not the 3 we originally planned. Clean up was done nicely with minimal impact on the lawn.

Yes, it was a little pricey, but these were fully mature trees, not little saplings. A few large limbs leaned precariously into bad areas... Other companies wouldn't go near it. Sometimes it pays to have a little piece of mind, so hire a licensed arborist. I use my chainsaw for small jobs...but for this? I needed pros - and they came through.

I have never met a company this dedicated before! The crew was humble, hardworking, highly motivated, and punctual! The owner is the most genuine, sincere, and honest person I have ever met! He leads by example without any doubt. When the crew did work at my property and the day increasingly got hot and long, the Owner stepped in! I have never seen that In my life!

If you are contemplating hiring a tree service company, stop, and call Tazmanian Tree Devil. You will not regret it!

I was fortunate when a friend told me about Tazmanian Tree Devil after mentioning the previous year I had no show companies. I contacted Ed and he came right away. Ed and his crew (all very nice) were like a well oiled machine. They were always careful of each other while working and careful of my property. When they were done you wouldn't have known so much work had been done. I had two very tall trees and a small tree removed. My property looked clean and great. Thank you Ed! I highly recommend Tazmanian Tree Devil!

What a true group of professionals. Great to watch this well oiled machine at work. Cleaned the yard as they progressed. Will recommend to anyone needing trees pruned or removed.

I had another tree company ghost me so I reached out to this company via email and got a response and a quote the next day. Their quote was reasonable and I was lucky in that they called me back later saying I could be fit in the next day. The end result was great too, they took down a half broken tree that was caught up and another leaning tree. Now I don’t have to worry about either falling anymore.

We had a tree that was touching the lines that bring power to our house and my husband called Monday and we had a quote within a few hours. They came out the next morning and did a very thorough job of taking care of all the branches anywhere near the spot and even removed some extra branches. They are very skilled and even with "drop & go" requested for the branches they made a neat pile and leaf blowed the mess into the pile. I was very impressed with how well they did and the company was a pleasure to deal with.

I highly recommend. They were fantastic. Very professional, and responsive. We needed trees down on a deadline for insurance purposes. I was fit in for an estimate right away, they then followed up with great service. The crew left the yard looking immaculate.

We will be calling them again to do more work for sure!
