Driver goes so slow I could make this while driving. Pick it up or get 1 star’d

Edit: I have moved on from this and no longer believe they deserve 1 star. I’m sorry. I was mad.

The crew worked very efficiently, left the tree with excellent balance and the clean up was impeccable. The costs were in industry standards... very palatable.

Distinctive Tree Care is being looked at the same as Connecticut is, a criminal operation. The tree removal on the highways is clearly uneeded. Calls turned up no reason long ago that was feasible. This is not going on in other states nor the kickback through a private company like this. Connecticut has to face how it is enslaving people earning the gdp to pay for this. No one is committing terror like this in other states and we darn well distinctive Tree Care is sending kick back to people and is performing what is an act of terror for money.

These guys are the absolute worst drivers on the road out of all the tree services. They pull out in front of you and then drive 20 miles below the speed limit. They hold up traffic everyday on route 87. I drive all over Connecticut they are the absolute worst.

We have had Distinctive Tree Care of South Windsor, come to cut down five very tall pine trees, and then hired them back to cut trees in our backyard that were leaning towards our house. All the trees were jeopardizing our house or pool. Distinctive goes above and beyond and they know their business, explaining that one tree compromised another to pull its roots where the tree was headed towards the house. The front yard trees were also trimmed away from house wires. The guys cleaned up every limb and leaf and even had wood chips blown into our dogs area!! We couldn't be happier! We definitely recommend them!

It doesn't matter if you live in a quiet residential neighborhood in Glastonbury, it doesn't matter if you call their dispatch at 7am and ask them politely to stop grinding the wood chipper first thing in the morning. DTC has trees to annihilate, profit to consider; rudeness of your neighbors & community simply don't factor into their tree cutting agenda.

Would they appreciate a work crew smashing up their quiet neighborhood? I think not, but it doesn't matter, trees have to die for money to be made. Who cares about common courtesy? Thanks for turning Madison Road into a junkyard at 7am for 3 days in a row, you guys are top notch hacks! 3 days to cut down a couple trees???

Enjoy the truthful Google review, you guys earned it unlike your other fake 5 star reviews, all noise, zero courtesy. Money makes the world go round, who needs trees to breathe? Really people think twice before calling.

These guys are THE BEST in the state....period. They are honest and come to protect your property and teach you as well. They helped us out with some Ash trees that were going to come down within the year (in a storm). I will ONLY use DTC for ever. Please give them a shot! Jason and his team are the best.

Awesome crew, showed up on time, the guys were efficient and set up a large safety zone so my kids and dogs were safe. I highly recommend Distinctive tree to anyone who might be in the market for a professional company that does great work.

The whole process with Distinctive Tree Care was excellent. Entire team that came to my house was professional and efficient. I had 7 dead trees removed and they were in some tight areas near the house. Distinctive took care of the trees no problem. Would highly recommend Distinctive!!

Joe met me on-site to review our tree removal needs and to our surprise not all the trees my wife and I thought should be removed really had to be removed.

Sure, Joe did recommend removing some of the trees but he also encouraged us to keep the remaining trees and have them pruned and cleansed of any possible dangers, true tree lovers!

Now we still have beautiful shade and much better airflow in our backyard. We can’t say enough on how professional and safe the team was during the entire job. You can tell they really love trees and what they do!

Had a great experience using Distinctive Tree Care this past week. With all the storms this summer a tree in my yard fell on my neighbors fence after it had got hit by lightning. Since it was super busy, hardly any tree removal companies would even answer their phones in this area with all the clean up going on for nearly three weeks. Finally upon calling DTC telling them I had an urgent problem, they came out within 15 minutes to take a look at it and sent out a crew within 2 business days to take care of it for me. They did an excellent job working around the fence and were able to get the tree down without any problems or major damage to the fence. Definitely recommend them for your next tree problem!!!

Very professional and equipped with state of the art machines. It was so cool to watch them at work, almost wish the job had taken longer. This is the second time we've had them out and would only book with them in the future.

Had a tree uprooted in my yard, they came within a day to give me an estimate. Great pricing for taking 2 trees down, came within a reasonable timeframe to do the work, very satisfied with the job they did.

Hired this company for cleanup from Tropical storm Isaias. I asked them to stop by to provide a quote for removal of a tree and some large branches that was down, and to check the other oak and maple trees in my yard. I was surprised by the high quote that I received. I wasn't home during the quote and all it said was "trimming rear tree line", but it needed to be done so I accepted.

After the service, I understood better why the high quote. It looks like they examined every tree and was very detailed. Every tree looks like it had work done and my whole backyard border is oak and maple trees. They removed all the branches/trees near my house, patio, shed, and playset. All the bushes/trees around the border of my yard was trimmed back, and even the spot where I dump leaves was taken care of so now it’s easier to walk back there.

When I first saw it, I was stunned, I hired them just to get my yard back to normal after the storm, instead they made it better than it ever was. They were also respectful all my tiki torches and toys (playhouse and sandbox) that was in the yard was placed on the patio, nicely lined up against the house.

I hired them for a one-time service, but now I'm going to be using them for all my yard work going forward

Great service, professional crew, awesome and efficient equipment. They did quick work, no damage, on time and better then expected! Definitely not a drive by night company. Even seen them on highways and state roads. Gotta be doing something right.

Jason and his crew at DTC are amazing. We have used them to prune trees, cable trees, and recently remove several large trees that other tree companies don't have the equipmemt to do as affordable as he can. Highly recommend them. Also recommend watching them for a true appreciation of what it takes to do amazing tree work.

Several large storm damaged trees were strewn across my yard and up against my house. They got a quote to me the day after I reached out and we're there within a few days to do the work even though the whole town had been hit and everyone needed tree work. They worked quickly and efficiently and when they were done, they cleaned up so it looked as if they were never there. Special mats prevented their equipment from severely damaging my lawn as well. Great job Distinctive Tree Care!
