Tree reviews in Torrington, Connecticut

I had an excellent experience with KDF Tree LLC. From start to finish, the team was professional, prompt, and highly focused on the job. They worked with great attention to detail, and I was especially impressed by how tidy they left the property—everything was cleaned up so well you’d never know major tree work had just been done. Their communication was clear and courteous, which gave me full confidence throughout the process. It’s rare to see such a combination of efficiency, skill, and respect for the customer’s property. Without a doubt, this is the company I will call for any future projects. Well done!

There was an immediate response when we called for an appointment, Kory was knowledgeable and we formed a plan. He and his crew showed up in time, cleaned up after themselves and made it a point to explain what he pruned and what to expect. If you need pruning definitely call KDF.

Had a huge tree that was rotting out from the inside & they made it look easy taking it down. Cost was right around what I thought it would be. Everything was done quickly & everything cleaned up. Very professional & easy to work with. Would highly recommend them.

Had three trees removed and one pruned up. The trees in the back were done with a crane and their attention to safety and protection of my property was impressive. They were quick, thorough and very professional. Second time using them and they are now my exclusive tree guys. Great job!

We have had KDF out several times now to do work on our 150-year-old oak tree removal of brush and shrubs and trimming of another maple tree in our yard. The entire communication from beginning to end was top notch. The staff is courteous, polite and left our yard in impeccable condition, their professionalism and expertise led us save our 150-year-old tree. We would highly recommend KDF tree and landscaping for all your tree and landscaping needs.

The team at KDF did right by us. While we don’t have many trees on our property, we had two that were a little too close to the house for comfort. KDF came out, provided a prompt, reasonable estimate for clean up and removal and scheduled the work. Now that the job is complete, I can say I was very impressed by how efficiently they took care of our needs and how well they treated the rest of the property along the way. Would DEFINITELY recommend.

A very professional crew. They are very knowledgeable and went over the job in detail before quoting.
Great communication and they were here on time.
They trimmed up a fairly large tree in our backyard, it looks really good.
I thought the price was fair. They were very neet also.
I recommend them.

These are the BEST people! Reliable. Competitive. Beautiful work done with care. KDF Tree is my go to for professional care of our property. Unique personable attention.

This is the second year I’ve hired Adam and his crew at KDF Tree, and once again they did an outstanding job. They are always on time, work efficiently, and deliver high-quality results. What really stands out is how thoroughly they clean up when they’re done, you’d hardly know any trees were removed.
Professional, reliable, and easy to work with, I highly recommend KDF Tree.

KDF did a great job cutting down a tall hemlock tree, two shrubs and some forsythia. Came a few weeks before I expected, but was told they wanted to get the work down before a large snow storm. Only took three hours to get the work done abd they cleaned up nicely!!

I've had a lot of tree work over the years and have used multiple contractors at different price points. Adam and the team at KDF stand out for how prompt and responsive they are and most importantly treat and leave your yard. True professionals.

Would give more than 5 stars if possible!

KDF Tree exceeded my expectations!!!! They are clean, professional, friendly and easy to talk to and work with. They have top of the line equipment and safety gear. They keep themselves and your property safe!

They cleaned up their work area and returned my property to how it looked before they came.

We are blown away, will be using again for all future tree and landscape work!!!

Thanks KDF!!!

absolutely amazing and trustworthy!!
They promptly showed up when they said, brought their huge crane and got right to work. We had three huge trees taken down. We were amazed at how neat and accommodating they were.
I would highly recommend them, and we will definitely be using them again in the future!

Start to finish was very impressed. Adam came out to check out the job had a quote back to me in a couple hours with a great price. The crew showed up Monday am right on time everyone worked very well and efficiently couldn’t believe how much they got done in a days work. Very professional and top notch work i would recommend them to anyone and use them again.

Professional outfit, great workers, and leadership. Took two trees down and when they left, no one would’ve known they were here except the trees were gone. Everything was picked up and cleaned up. I met Adam in October and he gave me a tentative start date of mid January and it was met, almost to the day. I can’t say enough about my experience and how I would recommend them to anyone who needed tree work done.

Outstanding customer service from start to finish. The KDF team knows exactly what they are doing. From your estimate to completion you are constantly kept in the loop. When they give you a date you don’t have to worry. They will be there! Their work ethic is far superior to other companies. Don’t hesitate to call KDF for an awesome experience. A+++

We have been using KDF’s services for a number of years. Skilled professionals with licensed arborists, state-of-the art equipment, fully insured—plus really friendly competent crews. Their prices are very appropriate for the work they do. Quotations come promptly, and when they say they will show up, they do. Few organizations can make that claim! I cannot recommend them more enthusiastically. Katie in New Hartford CT

They are extremely processional, fast and efficient. The window they had to work with was extremely tight no mistakes were made. They did a great job cleaning. Price was good.KDF Tree company

Having a large maple develop a crack in the main trunk and other trees that needed pruning at my home I called Adam of KDF to take a look. He came out and quickly provided a estimate for the tree work, I agreed, and he scheduled his crew. When the day arrived his team rolled up on time, we again reviewed the trees to be removed. The team works with the best equipment including helmets with radios communicating to each other for safety. They removed and chipped all the branches, then raked the lawn of remaining debris. Overall KDF was very professional, from the first call to the day the work was completed, they even have an Arborist on staff. Based on my experience with the team at KDF, they ARE the tree experts, I highly recommend them for any tree work and would call them again without hesitation.

The crew was professional and very friendly. They cleaned the yard really good afterward. I would highly recommend this company.

The KDF crew was awesome! From my initial phone call with Adam to the crew coming and taking the trees down for us. We bought our house a few months ago and had a few dead trees that needed to go, plus a tree that was to close to our septic. The crew showed were super nice and got right to work and finished by 2pm. Thank you KDF now we don’t have to worry about a tree falling on the house. Definitely will be calling again for a few more trees.
