Constraction reviews in Vernon, Connecticut

The new roof went without a hitch. Tim came out a gave a no nonsense quote. When his crew got there they set up and were removing the old roof within an hour. They were done in one day with the whole job. Fantastic crew and I would highly recommend CB ROOFING. Excellent!!

Conventional builders was recommended to me by the person who repaired my basement. From the moment I meant Tim I have nothing to worry about everything was perfect. His team was very professional. I would recommend them.

I quoted 3 companies for a full replacement of my roof and selected CB based on their competitive all-in price, nominal deposit terms (vs. half upfront as with other roofing contractors), positive reputation/reviews and, most importantly, through multiple Q&A sessions with Tim (the owner). As you can tell by my 5-star review, I am very happy that I did as my new roof looks and performs great. The team showed up as promised, knew their craft, were respectful of the property (especially in terms of the clean-up) and completed the job on-time. During a post-completion walk-thru, I noticed a few minor concerns that I raised with Tim (even after paying for the job in full) and he sent out his foreman the same day to make it right. I would strongly recommend Conventional Builders to anyone in the market for a roof repair or replacement.

I immediately knew Tim Cote (Conentional Builders) was the right choice to replace my roof and 3 skylights the minute I met him. I was so sure that I immediately recommended him to a friend. Tim was knowledgeable, professional, and most importantly honest. He also had a great demeanor and patiently answered all of my questions and concerns. Tim got right back to me with a fair quote and handled everything from beginning to end. Tim and his team did not disappoint. They showed up on time and were impressive! They were so organized, fast, and extremely hard working. In addition to replacing my roof and 3 skylights, they also replaced one of my wood boards that had rotted and warped over time. The team was professional, meticulous, and paid attention to every detail. They protected the windows and plantings and made sure everything was clean before leaving. They did a quality job and completed it in one day. Tim made sure everything ran smoothly and there were no unforeseen issues. I have and will continue to recommend Tim Cote (Conventional Builders). In case you are wondering,,,,,yes my friend decided to have Tim replace their roof too! 😄

As part of a facilities dept that has to work with contractors here in CT and our other 12 offices throughout the US, I know the difference between poor work, acceptable work and outstanding work. Tim and his team do outstanding work. Re-roofing a home is messy work. I fully expected to have to clean up a little bit. THERE WAS ALMOST NOTHING TO CLEAN! It was 99.9% like no one was ever there! They took the time to hoist huge tarps to protect the house and catch the debris, they HUSTLED like I have not seen in a while. And when complete, they used a magnetic, "broom" to scour the yard for nails, and then they all walked around like the crew on an air force carrier looking for the tiniest bit of debris. Very impressive!

Thank you to CB Roofing for their generous gift of a new roof to a veteran in West Hartford. The community involvement and expert service was incredible. From permits, to materials and one day roof replacement,Tim and his crew got the job done. An excellent job! House of Heroes CT highly recommends their services.

CB did my roof and my mothers. For the most part a great experience. They did an excellent job with containing everything while repairing my roof. I did not find much around the house when they left. The guys were quick getting our homes completed in one day. They were willing to coordinate doing some atic insulation work simultaneously. The roof came out great. They could have been a little quicker to respond to my calls about an issue, but during the time they were here they were very responsive to all my questions.

Terrific job. Removed old roof and installed new one in 1 day. Friendly staff and crew. Constantly cleaning up during the day to limit debris including nails from old roof. To prevent damage to house & gardens they covered sides of house and bushes to prevent damage. Couldn’t be happier with the results and CB Roofing.

Had the roof done back in July, 2021 - holding up great and they were reasonably priced and got the job done quickly. Only needed the top portion done as the lower portion wasn't needing it then.

Prompt and courteous response👍
