My furnace stopped working on the coldest day of the season and Westside Oil arrived within an hour to fix the problem. The customer service in the office and the technician were wonderful, knowledgeable, professional and trustworthy. I highly recommend this company.

So, I walked in to West Side Oil office this morning in a pickle.
My daughters house in Granby had an oil tank that, following a delivery yesterday was leaking. I went to check out the situation this morning and realized it was bad with no quick fix possible. My oil burner guy was not returning my calls. I walked in to West Side and started telling my story to the wonderful ladies that work in the office. Out of the back office comes Jay, who realizes I have a serious problem. He immediately starts trying to put together guys from other jobs to help with my situation. In less than 1 hour I have the West Side Calvary at my daughters house. Mind you, I am not a customer and this is an extremely busy time of year for a heating company. 3 trucks, 3 guys and a brand new tank are on the scene within 2 hours. By 4:00 we have a new tank installed, the old tank removed and the furnace tuned up and running. Jay and his guys were amazing. Not only were they highly skilled and professional, they also had a great attitude and humor throughout the whole ordeal.
West Side Oil has been a neighbor of mine for 40 years. I am embarrassed and ashamed that I have never been their customer. I will be now until I am not on the planet.

Two days ago I had a new A/C system installed by West Side Oil to replace the 25 yr old unit that died. I can’t say enough about what a great organization to deal with from the office staff, service technicians to the installers. I was most impressed that Rich, the owner of West Side, was here the entire day to oversee the whole installation with his installers during a very hot and humid day. We have had other work done by WS and we have always found them to be top notch. I highly recommend this company for all of your heating and A/C needs.

The crew that installed my new boiler, oil tank and HW tank were outstanding!! They were very respectful of the property, inside and out. They explained everything to me. We had West Side out to replace our boiler and water heater. They were fantastic, very professional and very clean. Multiple people were working on the project and they were all great. At the beginning they walked me thru the process and at the end the reviewed the new system.

We’ve been customers for over 30 years and have the majority of our heating and air systems have been installed and maintenance service done by them. We recently replaced a 50 year old oil tank and boiler replaced. In recent years, we have used their plumbing services — new bathroom, hot water tank, propane fireplaces and other maintenance. We don’t hesitate to recommend Rich and John Chapman and their wonderful office and technician staff.

My mother worked with their dad for a number of years before us.

We hired West Side Oil replace our boiler after a recommendation from a neighbor and interactions with my previous heating and air company was less than desirable. They’re very down to earth , very knowledgeable. Spent a lot of time working through a plan on the best way to replace the boiler and meet our home heating and hot water needs. They had a fantastic crew here at the house and so far we are very pleased with the results. They actually treat you like an important customer as supposed to some of these other companies out there that don’t seem to understand what customer service means anymore - but Westside oil does - we highly recommend them!

We had West Side install a ductless cooling/heating system in July 2025. From start to finish, we were very pleased with the entire process. We met with Brian to figure out what layout options would work best for us. He was knowledgeable and thorough, and patiently answered numerous questions. They use top of the line heat pump condensors and indoor units. The install went great, as the installers were able to accommodate our preferences, and they did a fine job. They were easy to work with and they explained what they were doing. One of the owners, Rich, took on the most uncomfortable and difficult task with an installation requiring him to work in a small attic space. That says quite a bit about the company that an owner would take that on in July heat. West Side Oil has strongly earned our recommendation.

West Side Oil is an amazing company to work with from start to finish. There’s a lot to say about a family owned and operated business like this. They went above and beyond for us with our 30 yr old boiler that was having issue after issue. They always came out right away. We decided to pull the trigger on a new boiler in the end and they blew us away with their install crew, service techs, customer service, the quality of our system, scope of work, workmanship, and the price was more than fair and affordable. Highly, highly recommend West Side Oil. They’ve certainly earned our loyalty and business.
