Tree reviews in Windsor, Connecticut

Hiring them was super easy, we communicated over text about date/time and price, all I had to do was send pictures of the 2 stumps in my yard. Nick did a great job, it looks like there were no trees in my yard! Also left the ground very flat and gave me recommendations for how to re-seed in the spring. I'd hire them again.

After reviewing local contractors for stump removal it was obvious I needed to at least meet and get a quote from Stump Off.
My request was answered promptly and I met with Nick the following morning. I was quoted a very reasonable price and the work was done within 3 days.
Nick took it on himself to not only remove my 3 stumps but to move the shaving for me.
His pictures online are exactly what the yard looks after removal.Neat, clean and level.
Nick has great goals to reach with his company and there is no doubt he will obtain them doing the quality work and excellent customer service he provides.
Call him you won’t be disappointed.

Nick and his team did an excellent job! After quoting, they communicated their expected timeline and arrived within a week, not only did they remove the stumps but also cleaned up. I would highly recommend Nick and his team to anyone looking for professional service at a very reasonable fee.

I highly recommend Nick for your stump grinding needs. He was very responsive, professional and price was very affordable.

Within two days of quote, he removed 7 large stumps and many smaller ones which he included in the price.

I’m very happy with his services.

Nick was great. He came and did an estimate on removing stumps around my yard. We confirmed on a Monday and he was on my property that very Friday. Very professional, amazing work and he was on time, which is very important to me. He provided great advise on what to do with the areas that were worked on. Highly recommend. A-plus service!

Fantastic experience. Contacted StumpOff via their website on a Wednesday, Nick came out out for an estimate that Saturday (and gave us a price that I thought was crazy low). On Tuesday about 15 stumps (including two with a diameter of more than three feet) were gone and the backyard looks terrific. They even used a moving tarp wall to make sure the wood chips didn't get in the pool.

Six days from contact to work complete. They do what they say they will do for a more than fair price.

Nick is the best! He removed the root of a 15 foot fallen tree , due to the wind storm , that had pushed my fence out of the ground and could not be reinstalled because of the remaining tree roots in the ground. He got the job done quickly and efficiently. Removed the debris . Cost was very affordable. Thank you Stump Off stump removal for sending Nick to my rescue. He is the best!

Excellent service. Very professional and thorough. Worked straight through and cleaned up our yard impeccably. I would highly recommend them for service and the cost.

Would highly recommend Stump off! They’re responsive, reasonable and did a great job! Would definitely hire them again.

Nick did an awesome job! I had 5 stumps ground very very large with huge surface roots which he took the time to remove as well, even did a couple extra smaller stumps at no extra charge. He responded to my call quickly and came quickly on day scheduled to give quote. Also did the job promptly the next week as promised. Fantastic job, Highly recommend. Prices reasonable and competitive. Thanks for a great job!

Nick just completed removing and grinding down a large stump on my property. His work is amazing, I would never know that the stump had ever been there. Nick was quick to return my call and within a day was out here working. Nick is very personable and was helpful in explaining the whole process to me. I would highly recommend Nick.

Update 2: Two years later and I just got another stump grinding done by Nick and his crew. They did a great job again, and I continue to highly recommend them for all your stump grinding needs!

Original: Nick was great, he came and got straight to work.
He did an amazing job eliminating my rotted, old stump. He left it nice and spread out, ready for seeding. Highly recommend Nick and Stump OFF to anybody who’s looking for quality work at a great price!

Nick did an outstanding job on our multiple tree stumps! Not even 24 hours after initially calling him our job was completed! I HIGHLY recommend Stump Off!

Nick was awesome. Answered in a timely manner. A very reasonable price and did an amazing job. Got quotes from many companies and very happy with my decision. Will use them again if needed!!

Nick was wonderful to work with. He did an excellent job removing multiple stumps, removing the chips and leveling the area.

I will definitely use his company again and highly recommend this company.

Nick and his crew did a great job..We had 4 stumps removed. They were quick and efficient and did a great job leaving the area cleaned up. The price was very reasonable. We would definitely use them again.

Very professional, courteous and fast. Had a large maple stump removed. There were several lines he had to avoid and they did not damage anything

Great job and super affordable. Nick gave us a more than fair price and did a great job grinding out the stump of a maple we had taken down last year. He even leveled out the space around the stump. I wish I could post a pic of the before, but trust me when I say this pic is 100% better than what our lawn looked like with the stump

Nick & the crew were awesome and did an amazing job. They showed up when they said they would and did the job right. The wood shavings were picked up and the holes were filled in and leveled. great quality work & service for a reasonable price. Thank You!

Nick and his team were recommended to us and we’re happy they were. They were very reasonable on price and worked very quickly to remove the stump and level our lawn. Would definitely use them again or recommend them to anyone that needs a stump removed.

I couldn’t be more happy with my service! I originally asked for 3 stumps to be removed but after seeing his quote I bumped it up to 5 (my lot is officially stump free thanks to them). He does charge extra for removing the wood chips but even that is a deal. They were punctual and friendly and I was impressed at how they were able to remove stumps so close to my home and fence without any damage. I’d give them 6 stars if I could!
