Working with the D&J's Construction Services was a wonderful experience. They are not only professional at what they do but also a great reliable construction service.

They cancelled on me 12 hours prior to the scheduled job to redo my concrete. Joseph was very disorganized. Didn’t call me back when he said he would, slow to respond, etc… In summary, they over promise and under deliver. Definitely would not recommend wasting your time even getting a bid from this guy.

D&J’s completed a deck project for us, they did excellent work! They were professional and timely, and completed our deck exactly how we wanted it. Highly recommend!

I was initially very happy to have Joseph manage my project, but as we got started, I became more concerned about who I had hired to work on my house. After signing a contract, Joseph was extremely difficult to contact. Multiple voicemails and texts were left unanswered for days as I worried about getting my project completed. The final stages of the project dragged out for weeks with almost no communication from him. I thought I was going to be left with a half finished project and have to scramble to find someone to finish it.

When additional damages that needed repaired were found, I did not receive communication of them and the contractors on site were moving forward with repairs without consulting me for approval. No change orders were received. When I contacted Joseph after talking with on site contractors, he seemed surprised about the news. Clearly he was not answering their calls either.

Joseph was very pushy about final payment before the project was even completed. Be weary of any GC that expects final payment before a project is completed.

The end result was pretty poor construction with the final stage quality extremely lacking. I was left with gutters that are improperly installed. My gutters are now improperly leveled and mounted too far below the gutter apron. There were a lot of leak points in the gutters that were not sealed. I was left with having to come in behind the contractors to seal leak points and I'm hoping the leveling isn't going to pose an issue under heavy rain.

Final review point is that I don't think Joseph ever stepped foot on my property after signing the contract. I would expect a half decent GC to have some on site time making sure the project is going as planned and confirm everything is completed properly. Sadly, I have a poorly executed project, and a lot of lost time trying to project manage for this very unprofessional general contractor.

D&J relocated a laundry for me. It invloved removal of a soaking tub and both wall and floor tile. The project went smoothly, on time and on budget. Floor tile was replaced with vinyl. Plumbing and electrical work was well coordinated.

D&j construction services are impeccable. Not only do they deliver to perfection. They work extremely hard and keep their word and try to work with you. The people who run and own the company are just genuine hard working good people and can get the job done! I highly recommend this great construction company! Keep up the good work D&J construction!

From the outset, D&J's Construction demonstrated a high level of craftsmanship. The attention to detail in both the demolition and building phases was impressive. They took the time to ensure that every aspect of the project met my standards, and the final result was not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. It’s clear that the team takes great pride in their work.

Had a tree blowdown and completely demolish my deck. Called D&J’s the next day and they were able to come to my house and give me a fair competitive price that was way better than other contractors. Not to mention they did a GREAT job rebuilding and now the deck looks 10x better. Joesph led me through the whole construction and was super flexible and patient. Great guy and a great company. Will definitely hire these guys again in the future.

Joseph and his team did an awesome job on my bathroom remodel. The entire process was smooth, and they took care of everything from helping with design all the way to the final clean up. They finished on time and on budget. I'm so happy with my new bathroom - thank you!

I recently had the pleasure of working with D&J's Construction for my roofing and siding project. I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience and the results. From the initial free estimate to the final walkthrough, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to all of my requests. We hired D&J Construction to replace some siding and put up trim on our house. While the project started out well with Joseph coming over to bid the job and bringing his brother to go over the work. Instead, it turned into him subtracting out the business to C&G Construction of Thornton. The job was completed, but not to our satisfaction and we are having issues with the installation now. When told about the problems, Joseph got defensive and unprofessional, stating I was unintelligent about my home project. Mind you, my husband has been in the construction industry twice as long as him.

This company is unprofessional and do not uphold their work warranty. If you don't want to be taken advantage of, STAY AWAY!!!

We recently hired D&J construction services to do some work in our basement. Joseph is an extremely nice person. The problem comes with the people he hired. To start, the crew was extremely late every single day. They would promise to be there at a certain time and would show up several hours later without a phone call or text. When this was brought up to Joseph he just ignored it. The next issue was the quality. Joseph and I agreed on a certain job and it was not delivered. He promised the drywall repair would match the old paint texture and it definitely did not. When this was brought up to him he had the excuse that they did not have the original paintbrush. That should have been understood when he promised it would match. All the drywall was supposed to be repaired and when it was not, I was told it was only certain spots. You can see lines in the drywall, big bumps where it was not finished correctly, and numerous blemishes throughout the finished work. The contract said the trim would be caulked but it was hit or miss. When this was brought up to the workers they said that it was the painters job. There are many more issues but it just frustrates me.

All in all they deliver extremely low quality work. If you need a fast job and do not want it to look good then these are definitely your guys. For the price and headache you should do yourself a favor and hire someone else.

Had a shower installed in the basement along with a remodel in the laundry room. Daniel did an excellent job with attention to detail. Coordination and communication on arrival times could be improved but once the job was completed I was happy with how it turned out.

Recently I hired D&J Construction to do a full bathroom remodel. The bathroom layout was completely changed with new plumbing and electrical. I had numerous upgrades including a steam shower, a stand alone tub, floor/wall/shower tile, new cabinets and a bidet toilet. They did a great job. Like with any project of this scale, there were a couple of small issues I discovered after they were complete. I reached out and they immediately fixed the small items. I recommend this team for a bathroom remodel or other similar projects.
