I needed a roof inspection and I contacted Alabama Roof Detectives. Chris was able to meet with me promptly and go through the inspection process. He went over the repairs that I needed and immediately started them. I was very pleased with the work and professionalism as well as the price of the repairs that they provided me.

Alabama Roofing Detectives, LLC is one of a kind!! Chris is congenial, knowledgeable, accomodating and genuine. Characteristics that are rare these days! He helped us pickup the pieces, literally, of our storm ravaged life and move forward. He and his roofing team are efficient and accurate. We hope that his success continues for years!!!

Not a roofing company we would recommend. Claims he's been in business 5+ years but public records state otherwise (closer to 8 months per the State, see image), doesn't seem to know anything about building code requirements as it pertains to roofing. Also doesn't have an actual business office, apparently his business address is also his home, so I blocked the address from the attached image.

We asked a couple of questions to see what he he knew (my family has been in commercial construction for three generations, so we're very well versed on code) and instead of saying he wasn't sure and would find out for us, he chose to give us responses that weren't completely accurate. We feel that it's okay to not know things off the top of your head, we're all human. Be honest and tell people you don't know but you'll find out for them. No one will be mad at you for that. We decided to go with a different contractor because we felt like if he wasn't going to be honest about that, we couldn't be sure what else he would be dishonest about. Chris seems like a great guy and we wish him the best, but needs to learn more about the trade and not be afraid to say "I'm not sure, but I'll find out for you".

When I look for a contractor, I want them to be honest; timely; and have the utmost integrity and passion for their profession. Chris and his company, Alabama Roof Detectives, had all the above in spades! My roof went up quick and looks great!

Several small issues came up, and were immediately brought to my attention by Chris. He offered me several solutions and he kept my costs within my budget.

Chris Grimsley did an excellent job, was on site every day. Finished the job in two days. Crew was diligent to clean up the yard & made sure there were no nails anywhere. Very please & thankful that we chose Alabama Roof Detectives, LLC to do the job. Chris is a very good Christian gentleman & did all things as unto the Lord. GOD sent us a good man that had a servant's spirit spirit.

Alabama Roof Detectives, LLC (Chris Grimsley) did an excellent job. He replaced the roof on my law office in Calera (Marlow and Salyer, LLC). Throughout the process, he was on-time, professional, and he did exactly what he said he would do. He spoke with my insurance company taking care of everything. Chris and his team are very professional and are experts in their field. Chris exceeded in our expectations with keeping constant contact as the work progressed. He is personal and friendly. We love the final outcome of the removal of LOTS of trees and new roof. Next project are new gutters with Chris. I highly recommend this company!!!

Alabama Roof Detectives went ABOVE AND BEYOND what was asked/expected!! They did an absolutely beautiful job! Chris and his team were so curteous and mindful in everything they did. They even returned the next day to make sure thery had not left any trash anywhere! We have an older home, and by the time our roof and gutters were completed, we started having people email , call and even stop in front of the house asking what offer we would take for the house. I would rate Ed and his team 10/10. The quality of the work rendered for the roof and fence is great. He gave me the cost and set the timeframe for work to be completed. He and his team were superb and Ed is a great person to work with. I will be hiring him for additional home improvements again.

I utilized Austermiller to repair my gutters, ceilings and kitchen floor. The owner was VERY THOROUGH with identifying the areas of concern as well as the most cost efficient way of repairing the area. There wasn't a need to return to "touch up" anything. His response time was almost immediate. He and his team were professional, neat and clean. I will definitely utilize Austermiller for future jobs.

The Austermiller Contractors built me some stairs that lead down to my pavilion, they did a beautiful job! I love the stairs. The contractors were very professional, always put in a full days work. I love the service that they provide and I plan to use their company on many more projects at my home.

We had a chimney sweep come and inspect our chimney, they told us we needed to replace the chimney cap and our wood around the chimney was rotting. For just replacing the metal cap they estimated $2500, so we shopped around. I ended up calling Austermiller, they came out and gave me a much better estimate to get everything we needed done.

They then came and did the repairs yesterday (Friday) and worked tirelessly from 930AM until I believe it was just after 6:00pm and it looks absolutely fantastic. I will be calling them again for some more things that I have been unfortunately putting off for too long around the house. If I could give them more stars I would, 100 percent. Also it helps that they are kind and explained everything to me in a way I could understand. Anything you need done around your house I highly suggest giving them a call. Top notch work at a great price.

Austermiller was professional and delivered work that was timely and very well done. All the details of the work were explained to us from the beginning and we were kept abreast of everything that was going on as it was in progress. We appreciate the efficiency and attention to detail. When the work was done the team left everything clean and in its place! We would definitely recommend this company for any of your home repair needs.

This company recently did a complete roof replacement on my home, including removing the old shingles, repairing the decking and installing new shingles. They did a great job and were very efficient to complete this job in one day. They also did an excellent job on cleaning up and hauling away all material. They even went as far as running a magnet to pick up all nails. I shopped other companies and their prices were very comparable. I highly recommend this company to do any roofing or remodeling.

Amazing customer service and beautiful work! I called multiple roofing companies to get a quote on storm damage. I was quoted over 2000 more by one company, and the other 2 companies never even showed up. Once I received the quote and confirmed the job, Eddie and his crew were out within a day. They finished the job up quickly, and the work was very thorough. The only problem is, it looks so good that now I want them to do the rest of the house! Definitely recommend!
