Daryl and his team were did a great job on our roof. They were very professional and communicative during the entire project which we greatly appreciated. Also their ability to knock the job out in a day was great.

Great experience from start to finish. Daryl’s quote was the best of the 5 I received. Work started almost immediately. The house had a complete tear off and was still finished in just a week. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

Well from the very first phone call things started out great. Caitlin took all my information to give to Daryl, Daryl promptly called me back regarding a job. I had new gutters installed throughout my house and I had my garage sided. Daryl's Crews were exceptional! Exceptional Exteriors was an absolutely wonderful company to have work on our home. They did a complete tear away and roof replacement, replaced all our gutters, and replaced our asbestos shingles with vinyl siding. They were fast, efficient, and polite. Shawn was on the ball and there everytime we needed anything. What a great company.....

Exceptional came out and did my roof in late spring 2023. They did a fantastic job. Had ice dam issue and tho it was a very mild winter 23-24 it appears to be solved. They lifted the siding that the previous contractor laid directly on the roof and left no room for draining. As for the 4 star and not a 5, because they had to cut a ridge vent in and there was a mess in my garage. They didn't lay down any tarps in my garage, I wouldn't expect them to do that in my crawl space. Also I found nails and shingles and scrape for weeks after. I called about 2 months after about ripples in the shingles and was told they will lay flat after summer. Its been 2 summers and there are some that are not laying flat. Doesnt appear to be hindering the job of the roof, but time will tell. Other than that, they were great to deal with and very quick!

We had our roof and gutters done by exceptional exteriors. We had multiple quotes and they were quite reasonably priced compared to the others. They showed up on time and did a great job. When Jesse arrived to discuss the siding estimate for my house, I had a two-page punch list of other items I wanted to address in addition to replacing the siding. The list included things such as removing the brick skirt in front, squaring off the garage door opening, removing gable vents, installing new storm doors, and replacing a side door into the garage with a window. I think he was a little surprised by the list of additional work, but we walked through everything with me and said he’d work with his boss to come up with an estimate that included all the work. When I received the final estimate, I was happy with the detailed cost breakdown and the very reasonable grand total. I also liked the type of siding they used, Charter Oak, since it was higher quality than other brands I’d looked at and offered many more color options. So, I happily accepted the proposal.

Jesse was a real trooper from start to finish and stayed in touch with me about any changes or issues. He also provided me with some examples of buildings that used the siding colors I was considering so I could see how they looked before I made my final choice. I really appreciated that since picking a color for a whole house can be a bit stressful.

Once the siding work began, I was amazed by how fast the work went. The siding crew was at the house by 7 AM every day and stayed until it started getting dark, taking time to clean up the site at the end of every day. The crew was outstanding, working very hard and reaching out to Jesse quickly whenever they found any issues uncovered by removing the old materials so the project could stay on track. As a result, the job was done in five days!

Many neighbors have given me a thumbs up on my new blue house, and contractors working on other projects for the house have also commented on the excellent quality of the work. So, I am very happy with the finished product and happy to recommend Exceptional Exteriors to anyone in the market for new siding.

I would 100% recommend Exceptional Exteriors and would absolutely hire them for other home projects in the future. Daryl and Jose are awesome, and the estimate was way below the other market competitors we received quotes from for a new roof, soffitt covers and gutters.

Exceptional Work on Both Our Roof and Siding!

We recently had both our roof and siding replaced by Exceptional Exteriors, and the entire experience was phenomenal. From day one, Jessie was outstanding—he was more than just a salesman; he was our go-to guy throughout the entire project. He was on-site regularly, kept us informed every step of the way, and made sure we were 100% satisfied with every detail.

The new roof looks flawless and has held up beautifully in the unpredictable Rochester weather. As for the siding—wow! It completely transformed the look of our home. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and clean-up afterward were all top-tier.

Jessie made what could have been a stressful process incredibly smooth and stress-free. You can tell he takes real pride in his work and truly cares about his clients. If you’re looking for high-quality work, honest communication, and a company that delivers on every promise, Exceptional Exteriors is it. And if you can, definitely ask for Jessie—he’s the real deal.

We reached out and hired this company to hang new gutters for us. They don’t give you a specific date/time to show up, only a window that spans across several weeks. They eventually showed up without notice Monday, 11/1/21. Two Hispanic males came (seemed to be sub-contracted, unsure, they didn’t know who Daryl Sadwick was). The guys were lazy and hack (see sloppy work in attached pics). Shortly after they arrived, a “project manager” called my husband to meet him at our house (leaving work without notice) to pay in full/ahead of completed services. My husband for some reason paid before services were completed. Upon my husband and me getting out of work around 4, we came home to aluminum pieces and nails all over the driveway. They completely mess up a fascia over the back porch, claiming in Spanish they could fit it in ( to their surprise, my husband speaks Spanish). They left old gutter latches on the house, and installed down spouts crooked. At this point gutter brackets are coming off the house. We reached out to Daryl on the afternoon of 11/1/21 (first day) to advise of issues, and he claim he would send someone. My husband has reached out 3 other times since then and still no one has been out. Daryl advised yesterday he would come and check out these issues today 12/7/21 at 4pm. He never showed, never called. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND “Exceptional Exteriors” to anyone. There is nothing at all exceptional about the company , service or product they produce.

If I could give them a zero star I will. This is not to bash them but hopefully this does not happen to another customer. If you do decide to go with this company get on a ladder and check their work/your gutters.

The roofing project was only supposed to take one day to do, but it took longer than expected due to quality issues
- They came to my house unannounced and don't communicate when they are coming by( I will see them on my ring doorbell)
-They send subcontractors to your house that do not speak English
-Every time I ask the contractors what is supposed to be done, they always tell me something different, and I have to contact sell rep to ensure the correct things are being done/ communicated with the staff
-They came to my house and just started working on the roof, and they did not correct the issue for the correct shingles multiple times
-I voiced my concerns to the sale rep and no management contacted me to check in with my concerns
-Even though I voiced my concerns, they did not even offer a discount for their wrongdoing

My house is beautiful! The crew worked diligently everyday, long hours to get the job done right. They definitely knew their craft. The work was completed in 6 days! They did their best to leave the work site cleared and safe at the end of each workday. Any questions and concerns I had were addressed promptly by the contractor and supervisor. We have new siding, gutters, trim, etc., beautiful accent work in the front. I am so very pleased.

I could not be more happy with the work Exceptional Exteriors did on our house! Daryl and his crew completely transformed our home with new siding, stone, garage door, roof and gutters. People keep raving about how great the house looks and how they have to double take when driving by because they don’t recognize it. The owner Daryl was down to earth, flexible and easy to work with! His price was thousands of dollars less than the big name companies that we also received estimates from. His crew was very professional, friendly, fast and they cleaned up after themselves. Exceptional Exteriors just completed installing vinyl siding, two entry doors, window and door wraps, new soffits, some facia repair and trim replacement on our house. It looks fantastic!
The existing exterior cedar shingles were completely removed and replaced with house wrap, insulation and Cape Cod Style vinyl shakes and clapboard. We are very pleased with way the house looks now.
All the work was done in a timely fashion, at the quoted price and the work crew were very hard working and efficient.
It was a pleasure working with Jessie, he is very quick to respond to any questions that arose. Jessie, Daryl and Murphy were all easy to work with. I would not hesitate to contact them for any future work I might have.

I hired Exceptional Exteriors to redo my roof. They were excellent to work with from beginning to end. Daryl and his team worked hard to get me in their schedule quickly as I had an active water leak in my roof that was damaging a bedroom ceiling. Their crew showed up on time, and worked for 10 hours straight to complete the job within a day. They cleaned up all the debris in the yard and even replaced parts of the carport trim that had broken off. They also spray painted one of my roof vents so that it looked better and didn’t charge me for the second dumpster they had to rent because there was so much debris from 4 layers on parts of my roof from previous homeowner. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for roof work!

I am always leery of working with a new contractor. After getting several estimates I decided to go with Exceptional Exteriors. I couldn't have made a better decision! Jessie came out for the estimate and arranged everything. He was professional, accommodating to my requests and schedule, the gutters look amazing, everything was cleaned up and the price was fair.
