Jeff did an EXCELLENT job removing the stump in my yard. He responded quickly, even took a text of my situation, came out and gave me a reasonably priced quote. He was super nice and easy to work with. The stump was gone and he even replaced the much from where his machine drove over. He really went above and beyond! Great guy and great business!

We have used Stumpin off twice for two different projects. Both times we were very satisfied with the job. Jeff is easy to work with, reliable and fair. He takes pride in his work and wants to get the job done right which is rare in today’s world.

I can't say enough good things about Stumpin Off! Jeff was wonderful. He visited my home within 24 hours of my contact. Prepared a super reasonable estimate immediately. Precise and efficient communication. Jeff came out as soon as we stopped having constant rain days. He was very diligent. Removed all 4 stumps in a matter of hours. I don't think you can find a better company to remove your tree stumps. I highly recommend.

They were in Irvine today on Santa Clara and they were throwing junk all across the side walk while I tried to walk by.. one guy just missed hitting me and another guy ran into me ..
These workers need a serious talking to and they give your company a bad name. -
(wish I could give negative stars!!)
I am gobsmacked that, mathew bailey, the owner of servicemaster advanced restoration southern California treated me with such a lack of professionalism and tack that HE, and he alone, would be the reason NOT to hire this company.
due to a conundrum with my insurance company, there was a delay in payment for an open invoice. suffice to say: I kept this company abreast of any waiting period in payment. the accountant understood. then here comes mathew bailey on his broomstick. mathew. with his high ego, bullying, threats and- trying to coerse me to pay my bill immediately he threatened me with attorneys and a lien on my home) if I 'didn't pay or else'. mathew was unable to hold an adult conversation. he kept on interupting me, talking above me. hard to deal with that type of person trying to 'work' with him. he spoke 'down to me' as if I was a child. I am not sure who taught him how to treat people this way! this isn't how one does business. returning emails was another issue. he makes written threats and doesn't respond to replies.... his name calling, bullying, threats, incompetence as a leader/manager/owner leaves much to be desired. quite the dissapointment. I can only hope that I will be the last customer to be treated this way..... no customer service skills does not a manager/owner make. Mathew needs to grab himself by the suspenders, grow up and treat people in the manner in which he would like to be treated. it is a choice he must make. or not. -
I have had this ServiceMaster team working on my water damage for over 4 months now. The initial team that did the remediation and tear out was good, the repair and reconstruction has been an absolute nightmare. From teams that don't show up when they are supposed to, to dumping drywall mud on the plants in my patio, it has been a horrible experience.

Cassandra was very helpful in helping me through this process. The mitigation was professionally completed. Alex and the team were extremely helpful in dealing with the insurance adjuster and in working with me to finalize everything to see the project to the end

This business was recommended by my insurance company. They came quickly to assess the A/C damage to our house, accurately diagnosed the problem and started work right away. From the work they did, the repairs were done very well.
However, they did not complete repairing the damage. Furthermore, they refused to complete the repairs to the outside of the house. If you have damage to the outside of your house, I would not recommend this business. -
We had a flood in our master bath and bedroom and all of the moving parts to put us back together again were VERY confusing - water remediation, asbestos, testing, demolition, etc. When Alex reached out to us, he was like a breath of fresh air. He patiently explained the process and the various steps, the relationships between our insurance company, a third-party and the companies actually doing the advance work. It was extremely helpful and took a LOT of stress out of the equation. Once his company started work, the communication level was fantastic and the crew they sent out was professional and did great work. Our bathroom and bedroom are almost back to their original state and we couldn’t be more pleased. Alex has been a stand-out in our journey; very professional, communicates well and very friendly. Thank you very much!

My insurance found this company and I have had nothing but issues since day one with them. My water heater ruptured the day before Thanksgiving causing a massive amount of water damage. It took two weeks before they even came out to begin the process for the water mitigation. The crew had zero regard for my personal property and had zero organization skills. I still have my bathroom scattered out through out my home because they removed something then set them in the other room, hallway or garage. They started putting light bulbs and parts inside my personal boxes in the garage that have metal fabrication tools in it. I asked to have the dryer covered before moving as it was a couple month old with no scratches. They not only didn't cover it they thought it would be a great idea to pile some metal bits and screws and what not on top of the brand new washer scratching it to hell. Welp after water mitigation was done a few weeks later they decided that it was an awesome idea to remove all the plastic (the only thing between the inside of my home and the freezing garage). They then proceeded to leave after removing the plastic, didn't put any of the doors back on or attempt any weather proofing and their reasoning was that the wall has a huge hole so no point. They were in a hurry to get to lunch(which they stated to me) so they didn't care to put the doors back on or assist me with any of them, mind you this was in December. Now I can stand in my hallway and see the neighbors if I have the garage door open. It is now February and they have since attempted to weather proof the walls, finish the reconstruction or anything. They took my money though no questions asked, well that is until I got on the phone with Garin the owner. I talked to him at the beginning of the process and expressed my worries going in and he reassured me not to worry that he will do right by me. I called yesterday because one of the lines that his contractor fitted started leaking, and when I mentioned that he gave me his word he flipped into a completely different person. Raised his voice, cut me off, wouldn't let me speak, cussing and just completely unprofessional all because I brought up him giving me his word. Imagine that you as a homeowner dealing with a freezing house, high gas bill and no hot water for months to be blown up on by the supposed owner of the company for mentioning him giving me his word. I have since cut ties with this company and will not tolerate being cussed at by someone who is supposed to be doing work on my home. Also since then because of the wonderful lack of walls during the coldest months of the year my gas bill has been an extra $300+ a month and they had no sense of urgency to get my home back together. I hate writing reviews especially negative ones. You don't just forget or disregard a customer because you're short staffed, you should have passed on the job if the staffing and or distance was an issue. But you'd rather collect the money and make the customer sit on their hands till you can find some people to do the job. I wish folks took more pride in their work these days. They seemed liked very nice and genuine folks too which is a shame it was all just a front to make the customers feel comfortable, they don't actually stand by their word..

Found through Allstate. We had water damage due to AC leak. Service master’s work has been professional and reasonable. Timely response and satisfied result. All workers seem to be well experienced. Special thanks to Casandra and Eileen. Great communication.

Amazing company and amazing service; I could not think of a better company to recommend. My basement flooded with the large storms we had and I was at a loss for what to do. I spoke with Randy and he sent a crew (Shane & Devon) my way within a few hours. Devon & Shane answered all of my questions, tested my drywall, sprayed anti-mold product, and setup fans/dehumidifiers. Randy was available by phone and answered any additional questions I had while navigating the basement repair process. Thanks to their quick work and knowledge they provided we were able to mitigate the water damage quickly and establish a plan going forward.

We have used Hays and Sons for numerous multi-family apartment home projects from electrical, drywall, rebuilds, they do an amazing job. I love the status updates and communication that they give and their detailed quotes.

We had some wind damage to our home's siding back in April. I contacted our Insurance Company and they are the ones who referred us to Hays and Son. Yesterday they came out to fix our siding problems. Josh Anderson (who is a project manager) and Dave Hensley worked on our project. I was very impressed that Josh got up on the ladder and was helping Dave. Both are very professional and courteous. We are very happy with the work they performed. We will contact them in the future, if the need arises.

Hays and Sons was pleasant to work with every step of the way. Blake Dawson and his team was very professional. The job was completed in a timely manner, the crew made sure everything was cleaned after the job and my house looks great!
