Jake Ragusa and his crew did exceptional work on an extensive excavating project for an addition at our home. They demoed an existing structure, excavated for a new foundation and replaced the water line from the street. I reached out to Jake about mitigating a drainage issue in my yard - he worked with me to understand the scope and provide clear, reasonable and timely estimates. He and his team came out and did the work quickly so there was minimal disruption - the craftsmanship and quality were top-notch. The drainage is already paying dividends as my yard no longer has standing water and I don't worry about the sump getting overwhelmed. Highly recommend Ragusa Companies! Jake came out promptly to give us a quote to remove old cement pool walls. He kept us updated on the timeframe of the project leading up to the day he arrived. Jake worked long hours and was able to complete the huge job in only 2 days! He even stayed late to make sure the company dropping off the dumpsters did not take out our cable lines. He also thought ahead to have them put it in our grass so the weight of the cement did not break our driveway and create a bigger problem. Jake was even able to keep our old wooden fence standing up that was attached to the walls and not damage a small Japanese maple that was against one wall! We will definitely use this company again.

Jake was incredibly responsive and consultative from the outset when I reached out for an estimate on leveling an area for a shed. As is often the case of service-providing companies, that same level of professionalism and attention to detail came out again in the quality and care of the actual work once we chose to go with him. Could not be happier with the end result of the shed and its aesthetics as well as the foundational confidence I have after an intensive leveling exercise and then the creation of a solid crushed stone bed. Jake and his company were outstanding to work with. We wanted a basketball court in our backyard and at first we weren't sure where to put it and how large to make it. He came to the house a couple of times to talk us through the project and where the best places were to site it all while patiently answering our never ending questions on what the work would involve. He took great care to measure the final location and was mindful of all the mature trees around the area because we didn't want to lose any. Once the project was underway, he arrived on time and did the excavating efficiently and even helped level and clear some badly needed areas of our backyard. He and his team did outstanding work and the court looks great in the backyard. Jake filled in all the areas where he worked with loam and planted seed that came up fast which gave us a lawn better than what we started with...like night and day. We were really happy with Jake's work and his enthusiasm for the project and how easy he was to work with. We recommend him for any of your excavating needs and we definitely look forward to having him back to clear more parts of our yard!

I recently had the waterline to my home replaced by Ragusa Companies LLC. The crew were very professional. They arrived on time, and the work was done within the quoted estimate. The technical skills of the crew, and the quality of their workmanship was amazing. They had to dig up a portion of my front lawn and driveway, removed a number of large shrubs in order to access the pipes to the waterline. Upon completion the lawn was reseeded, the shrubs were replanted and mulched, and the driveway had a new portion of asphalt applied and then sealed. I am very happy and satisfied with the work of Ragusa Companies LLC and would not hesitate to use them again.

Jake Ragusa and his crewman should be your first call for demolition and removal. They did an amazing job removing our 3 ft deep pure concrete front steps. Needed water main from street to foundation replaced. We called 5pm Wednesday evening, they were onsite and working the next day. We had our water back on within a few hours. Crew was very well organized, fast, and considerate. Price was very reasonable. Just an overall great experience.

Jake and his team came and removed our old in-ground pool and filled it within 3 days. Very pleasant to work with, exceeded expectations in price and timing. I was so pleased I called him back the next week to spread top-soil across the rest of my half-acre lot, was done in 2 days. 10/10 would recommend!

I used Ragusa Companies to clear the perimeter of my 4.5 acre property. It borders on woods and the perimeter had become filled with dead and falling trees, wild vines, and thorny brush. Jake did an excellent job clearing the requested areas. He was very careful to meet and discuss my needs and to figure out the most economical approach. I am very satisfied with the work Jake and his team did for my house. We needed to have the old water supply line replaced from the street to the house. The old line was underneath three AC compressors. Jake paid three visits to do measurements and investigation. He came up with a plan without moving the compressors. They finished the job half a day. Jake is easy and pleasant to work with. I am happy to give his team five stars!
