My girlfriend and I recently used Strong Wall construction for our roof repairs from a tree that had fallen from a storm. We had recently purchased the house and were extremely nervous about the repairs. Strong Wall and their team did an amazing job providing quality work and I couldn't be happier with the results. They were extremely professional and responsive throughout the entire process. Rob Schini and our GC Eric Trexler were truly a pleasure to work with. Eric did an incredible job with making us feel comfortable and going above and beyond to get our house back to the way it should be. If you are in or around Harford County and have the ability to choose Strong Wall for your construction needs, I think that it would be a mistake if you didn't use them!

Strong Wall Construction was an exceptionally wonderful company to work with after a neighbor’s tree fell through our house. The incident happened late one Saturday evening and by Sunday lunch time the tree was cut out and our house tarped by the evening. We had no idea what to do in a situation like this and they were by our sides making sure everything was done smoothly and to our satisfaction. Rob was great with handling the insurance part. Eric was amazing as our construction manager. We had a lot of moving pieces and he did an excellent job making sure all the sub-contractors arrived when they needed to. Communication was excellent during the entire process. Quality of work was very good and always done to our satisfaction even if it meant doing it more than once. We had Strong Wall do a few “extras” and everything came out beautifully. What started as a nightmare ended with a beautiful home. We truly appreciate all the hard work from the team at Strong Wall and will be forever grateful. Highly recommend to anyone that finds themselves in a difficult situation needing restoration.

I discovered Strong Wall Construction by following local reviews of their work. I had been searching for a contractor for some time to repair water damage in our basement. David returned my call within the same day of calling and had an estimator out within a couple of days.

We had water damage to the corner ceiling of our finished basement as well as the ceiling above our guest shower. Repairs were scheduled within a couple of weeks of my initial call. I ended up being out of town at the time, but the Strongwall team kept me up to speed on the progress the entire time. They also discovered the vent to the shower outside had been sealed by the painters during construction which looked to be the cause of the water damage.

All repairs and patching we’re very well done to the point I couldn’t see any hint of repairs having been done and they were able to match the paint perfectly. I highly recommend this team!

AJ and Josh and team at Strong Wall were fabulous in every way! As we recovered from our catastrophic weather-related flooding, they were attentive, kind and flexible in interactions with us, making many trips out to the house to assess things. They were highly expert in understanding the many facets and particulars of the job at hand and savvy in organizing local teams to do the plastering, drywall, and painting, all of whom were equally excellent. Lastly, they took on the lion's share of the burden of interacting with our insurance company to get the job paid for, which can often be a full time job on its own. We are forever grateful to Strong Wall!! Would recommend them without hesitation for general contracting jobs.

We had an extensive flood in our condominium and our experience working with the Strong Wall team was excellent from start to finish. They were knowledgable about navigating the insurance process, accurate with their estimating and professional with every aspect of the repairs. They were on time and on budget and a pleasure to work with during a stressful time. I would highly recommend them for any scope of work.

Strong Wall handled the repairs to our home after a fire claim as well as additional improvements beyond the repairs. They were such a pleasure to work with. Once the construction date was set, it moved so quickly with different crews scheduled one after the other with no unnecessary waiting between them. Eric Long was the manager of the project and he was completely on top of every detail. The Strong Wall crew as well as all the subcontractors did impeccable work. We had such a wonderful experience with Strong Wall and hope to hire them again for future home improvements.

Strong Wall did an excellent job of putting our house back together after a Fallen Tree did multiple damage to our house and property. All of the workers - brick masons, roofers, painters, woodworkers did excellent workmanship. The construction manager was conscientious and clear, often completing tasks over and above the contract specifications.We would, and have recommended them to neighbors

Mark S. and his crew were great. After the flood in my father's basement, they replaced walls and most of the flooring. They showed up when they said they would and did a great job. And they finished quickly. Highly recommend them for anyone who need restoration work done.

First of all, they were very kind and understanding and willing to work with our predicament. My husband and I were in the process of buying a house and the house that we were trying to buy pipes burst. Previous owner had contacted Strong Wall Construction to work on the insurance claim. They were willing to work with us and allow us to pick out all the new materials even though at the time we had not purchased it. And they were very understanding and worked well with both us and the previous owners. We didn’t have any issues till after we purchased the house and I’m not sure if it was their fault or who they subcontracted certain jobs out too. The plumber that came in he did not hook up our garbage disposal correctly, which caused it too short out and destroyed the motor. And our realtor paid out of her pocket to have the plumber come in twice so we could live in the house early. When it happened I called them, and no one contacted me back. I ended up contacting the maker of the garbage disposal and got it under warranty. However, we had to pay for another plumber to come in and install it, he stated it looked like the wiring was improperly installed and that a new garbage disposal should not have had that issue. Two days after we bought the house they were still finishing up work in the house and I noticed there was a leak in one of the toilets. They promptly replaced the toilet. When you buy a house and they said they were almost done hooking everything up and they didn’t check the toilet, the plumber they used didn’t seem trusting. Also, I’ve been noticing issues with the carpet that was laid down only two months into living here. There’s a lot of puckering at the edges. I don’t believe the company they used to lay the carpet or the flooring really paid attention to some of the areas upstairs and now two months into us living in this house we are noticing puckering and pulling up of the carpet in the play room and two of the bedrooms. The wood flooring was done wonderfully however the linoleum flooring that was not done properly. The sub flooring needed to be replaced because it was bowing. So it was replaced and the hardwood was laid. However, the sub flooring in the kitchen was not replaced and there is noticeable dip in the floor now. We have only lived in this house two months at this point. We had to clean off spackle from the stove and the windows and remove the old cabinets. They were supposed to clean up even though we were moving in while they finished and we did not fill in the areas of the kitchen, but the windows and the kitchen weren’t cleaned. I know their were two flooring companies used because one pulled out half way through and didn’t want to finish the job.

Like I’ve stated, they were a good company to work with and if we had questions they answers them, but I feel some of the work that was subcontracted out wasn’t given to the best people.

These guys provided unbelievably great service, as we needed restoration at our home after flooding issues. They were superb about scheduling, and completed the job quickly during the timeline that we needed. We were able to avoid needing to leave our home for a long period of time because of this, and we are so thankful, as we have 2 little kids to take care of. When their work was finished, our home looked brand new, as they did a great job with painting the walls, sanding/staining/refinishing our flooring, and even cleaning and putting all of our furniture and other items back in their original places. We were referred to Strong Wall after our bathroom and basement flooded in April and could not have found a better company to work with on the repair. Our project manager, Chris Burke, was extremely knowledgable and generous with our time and answered just about every question under the sun about the insurance claim and construction process. This was a pretty severe flood that had us feeling overwhelmed given my wife was about 7 months pregnant with our second kid when the accident happened. Chris easily erased any anxiety we were having. He assigned a team that was not only extremely skilled and courteous, but also went above and beyond to ensure the work got done as quickly as possible with our baby on the way. Credit also to Josh Humphrey, who oversaw the construction team and ensured the whole job was perfect and exactly how we asked. He went above and beyond making sure no detail was left out or incorrect. Between Josh and Chris, the communication was top notch and extremely punctual. We knew exactly what was going on and when it was going to happen at all times. The only reason I am giving 5 stars on this review is because they wouldn't let me give more. Would 150% recommend.

We had Strong Wall Construction in our home to repair water damage to our ceiling. I don't know if the contractor who led the repairs was employed by Strong Wall, or was hired externally. I believe it was the latter because our repairs were covered by insurance.

Firstly, the length of time for them to finish the repairs exceeded the number of days our insurance company gave us Temporary Housing. The repairs were done poorly, as if the construction workers were amateurs. One a few occasions when I stopped by the house unannounced, I saw a few young men doing work; they couldn't have been older than 16. I don't believe any employees we met at the Strong Wall office saw any work that was going on until they did a walk-through once the work was supposed to be done. The work was so shoddy that some of it had to be redone, further extending the time we were out of our home.

About a month ago (a couple of years after the initial work), we had water damage & leakage in the same area as before. We called Strong Wall again in order to figure out if it was the same problem. They sent a rep who verified that there was indeed water damage, but it was because *we* pulled the shower head out of the wall. Despite there being NO water damage behind the shower head, and that the water damage was about 3 feet away from where the alleged damage was. We hired a different contractor to make the repairs. While they were investigating, they realized the cause of the damage was an old PVC pipe that was so old, it was deteriorating. Which indicates that it was never even replaced; the ceiling was just patched up.

The whole experience with Strong Wall was very disappointing, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

I would definitely recommend Strong Wall Construction. Their work is immaculate. I had some work done in my home and everything turned out amazing!! I also want to mention their customer service is top notch. They are a caring , understanding bunch that shows humility. Where can you find that in a company like that these days? No where! I would strongly recommend and use this business again 100 percent !!!

We had a flood in our home. Strong Wall reconstructed 3 floors from the studs. They worked rapidly to get us back in our home as quickly as possible. AJ and Mike are quick to respond, knowledgeable and patient. Grateful to have found a honest reliable company in a devastating situation.

We were referred to Strongwall by a mutual friend after a fire and total loss two months after moving in and while expecting our first child. Everyone we came into contact with was caring, meticulous, highly knowledgeable and efficient. We are now living in our beautiful new home and will be forever grateful for the safe space Strongwall built for us to raise our family in for years to come!

Strong Wall Construction replaced my roof earlier this year. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable and completed the job in an expeditious manner.

Recent wind storms blew off some of my siding. Although not related to the original job, Jim promptly replaced and installed the damaged area and did so without charging. This was very unexpected and very much appreciated.

We decided to work with Strong Wall after a tree fell on our house. They were easy to work with and the finished product looks amazing. Rob and our project manager Josh went out of their way to ensure our needs were met and we were satisfied with the work. They may not be the cheapest game in town, but you do get what you pay for! It has truly been a pleasure to work with them!

They were recommended by a friend. They came out promptly, gave me the price and started the next day. My front porch had started falling apart from the snow and salt being used.
