EC provided a roof inspection after another vendor had told me I needed a new roof. No new roof was needed, but I had them do a roof tuneup to repair a few issues. As a result I saved thousands of dollars!

My experience with EC seems to be different from everyone else's. I had nothing but problem after problem with them.

First, the skylight they installed had a crack in it (not their fault, they said it was delivered cracked, but it was waterproof so they installed it and said they would replace it). Over a month later I don't know if or when it will be replaced like they said it would.

They also shook a pipe loose, it fell through the kitchen ceiling and broke off a piece of my granite countertop. EC paid to fix the plumbing but refused to help with the cost of the countertop. When I put a claim in with my insurance company to help me replace the countertop, EC emailed me asking me to tell the insurance company it wasn't their fault the pipe was knocked out of the wall because EC didn't want to have to pay for the replacement.

Finally, they installed the gutter on the back of my house incorrectly and I had water pouring in my back window and my mud room when it rained. The gutter is on the older end of it's life, to be fair, but it wasn't leaking before they replaced the roof and it was leaking after. They also broke the connection between the gutter and the down spout so much of the water runs down the side of my house. They sent someone out to "fix" it after they were done, but the "fix" was a little bungee cord to connect the gutter to the house. Had to call a different roofing company to replace the back gutter properly.

I first hired EC Roofing about 3 years ago to replace my roof, and they did an outstanding job from start to finish. The crew was professional, efficient, and left everything spotless once the job was done. The quality of the work truly stood the test of time—I’ve had zero issues with the roof since the installation.

Because of that great experience, when it came time to replace my windows three years later, I didn’t think twice about who to call. Once again, EC Roofing delivered top-notch service. The new windows look fantastic, have already made a noticeable difference in energy efficiency, and were installed with the same level of care and attention to detail I experienced with the roof.

It's rare to find a company that’s this consistent in quality and customer service over multiple projects. I highly recommend EC Roofing for anyone needing roofing or windows. They’re reliable, honest, and truly care about doing the job right.

I had three estimates and they were the only ones that were honest on what I actually needed to do. Including the removal of a satellite dish that had partially pulled out of the roof they were the only ones that new the exact cost.

They were amazingly quick and professional. Flexible hours of service with very friendly employees. Can't recommend them enough to reach out for any roofing needs!

EC Roofing are very easy to work with. They are great at communication, honest and fair in their quotes and the work they do is always with pride and professionalism. They won't "sell" you on unecessary work. The range of services for the exterior of your home is comprehensive and easy to "one stop shop". They are a Catonsville family Business and have a excellent Frederick Road location. They bring a lot of joy with their continual rotation of Maryland Pride and holidays. During Football season you will see the Raven's flag flying and Baseball season is the Orioles. Halloween is legendary.

They are also quietly very generous in the community. The $1000 HS Senior scholarship is always a local favorite and they support many of the local non profit organizations like the Children's Home.

We had our roof, gutters and downspouts, siding, and shutters replaced on our house and garage. We’re very pleased with the quality of materials and workmanship, especially the siding and shutters. The crews were careful and attentive, and did a great job protecting out property and cleaning up. We’ll have two entry doors replaced soon and expect them to look terrific. I’ve attached before and after pictures for reference; the beige color is before, the darker tan with white trim is after. Highly recommend EC Roofing.

I needed repair work for damage to trim around the garage. EC Roofing gave me an estimate and completed the job in a timely manner. The quality of work was exceptional and the workers were polite. They left the site clean. While I thought the estimate was high, I got 2 other estimates and they were all higher.

I called EC Roofing for an estimate on a complex insurance claim after a tree damaged my roof, fence, and gutters. Junior came out and was incredibly professional.

He didn't just give me a price. He gave me a 10+ page, itemized proposal that was more detailed than my own insurance adjuster's report. He found several items the adjuster had missed, including code-required drip edge that was left out of the initial estimate.

I used this highly detailed report as evidence to challenge my insurer. Because of the thorough work in this proposal, I was able to get my insurance company to approve a final repair value that was more than double their original offer.

While I ultimately had to go with a different contractor due to my specific insurance settlement and out-of-pocket costs, I am 100% giving EC Roofing 5 stars. If you are in a fight with your insurance company, call them. Their professional estimate is the best proof you can have to get the money you're actually owed.

EC came highly recommended by my realtor, Shari Arciaga, and I gotta say, I see why. They are scheduled to do a roof tune up for me later this month so without having received the work yet, the scheduling was painless, and Madison who took my call was friendly while being professional and willing to answer the questions I had and made me feel rather values even though I hadn’t booked anything yet. I’ll update after the repair but so far, I’ll really impressed with how they handle their clients on the front end!

Sorry for the slow post. It's been just over a year and everything is still great. Phillipe and his crew were awesome. Alot of wood replacement was involved as well as vents. All perfect.
On a very cold windy day the clean up involved cleaning up debris from multiple residents . Loved that.

Where do I even begin? Adam was great with explaining the setup and the process of our roofing project. Marcela was amazing with handling said project and a great point of contact. Felipe and team did a solid job with replacing my roof. Karen was super helpful with explaining the financial paperwork (for insurance purposes). Ari was super helpful (and patient) with every one of my calls. This is a solid team who did excellent work with putting this together and I 100% recommend them for whatever your exterior housing project may be! I own 5 houses and I was referred to EC roofing from a friend. Their customer support was off the charts. Unfortunately, I can’t get on the roof to inspect the work. The price was a bit steep but I’m willing to pay a bit more for quality work. I will use them again.

As a Realtor, I have worked with Mike Grap and EC Roofing for many years, and many friends and clients have used them. I had my roof replaced in Feb '26, and as expected, they did great work at a fair price and made sure everything was properly cleaned afterward. Highly recommend!

Maryland Contractors did an outstanding job. They came on time, cleaned up when they left. I would highly recommend them.

Had a great experience with MD Contractors. We needed our 37 step walkway to be redone. They worked with us on the price, started work when they said they would, worked super hard, even in the heat, always cleaned up after and did an amazing job. The workers were super nice, too. We will definitely use them again for potential future projects!
