Custom Home Builder reviews across the US

We have had Santanni Custom Homes complete several projects for us. Scott, Jody and the incredible team remodeled our kitchen and main floor. A few years later we had them complete a backyard renovation. They also completed an ADA bathroom/laundry room update for my parents. We appreciate Scott’s hands on approach, often on site working with the crew. They listen to your ideas/thoughts, give you suggestions and make you part of the
collaboration. As any project, bumps in the road happened, but the test of a great contractor is how they are dealt with. We trust Scott and Jody and would highly recommend them for any project you have. They are professional, timely and extremely talented.

Excelente servicio....... bueno bonito y barato.....

Honest, talented, and competitively priced. Highly recommended.

Eddy and the Yalco Construction team are outstanding, and part of our family at this point. We have used Eddy for everything from remodeling bathrooms in a 100 year old house, to help getting 100 year old windows boarded before a major hurricane. Eddy is responsive, on-budget and on-time, in addition to being a very kind person. We have been very impressed with some of the subs that Eddy uses, and have frequently relied on them for occasional specialist work. Regardless of your project size, I think any property owner would be wise to hire Eddy and the Yalco team for their next job.

Eddie and his team were prompt, professional, and fixed our building’s leak effectively and timely. You can tell Eddie takes pride in his work — he was fair, conscientious, and delivered quality results. Highly recommend!

Eddy and his crew were wonderful! Eddy has an eye for aesthetics and thinks out of the box. Problems came up but none he couldn't solve. Communication was easy and frequent. As a GC Eddy subcontracts the very best specialists for electrical, plumbing and HVAC. We just love the new space he has created for us! I highly recommend Yalco.

Working with Eddy from Yalan Construction on our home renovation (porch conversion to dining room) was wonderful. He proved himself to be honest and trustworthy, consistently doing what he said he would do, when he said he would do it—invaluable in a home renovation project. He’s a great communicator, very pleasant to work with, and stayed hands-on throughout the project. He paid close attention to detail, kept a clean job site, and consistently double-checked to ensure everything was done with quality. Eddy worked around our financial constraints and was truly interested in doing the right thing rather than cutting corners, which we so appreciated. He was always quick to respond to any questions we had (another amazing and rare trait). His subcontractors were nice and did good work and his pricing was significantly better than other bids I received. The final renovation is beautiful and exactly like the digital rendering he provided to ensure his plan aligned with our vision. Overall, Eddy went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the finished dining room and I can't recommend him and Yalco Construction enough!

Eddy was very professional and easy to work with; he always returned calls/texts immediately and completed the project within the estimated timeframe. He accommodated our last-minute requests with no problem. His crew was very uhfriendly and professional as well. We love our new patio and awning!

Excellent experience throughout the entire building process.

Fair prices and a decent website to help you find that someday could be hopefully place

Some general problems with communication and follow-through, but overall a nice job.

They build incredible homes and are a pleasure to work with both before and post closing. 5 star experience.

5 stars across the board. Pleasure to work with and Homestead presents a fantastic Product.

Homestead has made 2 gorgeous custom homes for my clients and I look forward to working with them again soon. They are building in some of the best neighborhoods in the Triangle.

Homestead is a great builder to work with- as their countertop vendor it is great to see the attention they give every client during the selection process. Countertops is just one part in the building process but Homestead makes every step as easy as possible for their clients!

Homestead really listens to client's wants/needs and helps develop a floorplan and finishes to match! Their positive energy to help is extremely refreshing and communication is great!

My wife and I purchased a home from Homestead Building Company, and I have to say, I think we will spend the rest of our lives in this home. The quality of construction is incredible! Jeff and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with! Highly recommended!!!

It is always our pleasure at TSD to work with Homestead Building Company. They make our jobs easy with their great communication and the attention to detail that they put into every home they build. They continue to raise the bar and bring timeless designs to the homes they build which are a dream for us to stage!

Homestead is absolutely top notch, with attention to the finest details. They have been communicative, help us navigate new house questions, and absolutely stand by their work. Best of the best, by far!

We would like to highly recommend Homestead Building Company to any future clients. Not only are we absolutely satisfied with the finished product, the process of building was handled so well. What really struck me, though, was how seriously they took the expected close date, and moved mountains to make it happen without sacrificing on quality.

We genuinely felt through the entire process that the team was trying to build the home exactly the way we wanted. Obviously changes/errors happen as the construction comes together, but they always made sure they got it right.

I would like to give a particular recognition to several employees who we worked with during the process. Ryan was an excellent customer service liaison for us. We always felt we had a go-to person who would find a way to make it work. Hannah did a fabulous design job, she picked up on my tastes and preferences quickly, and worked tirelessly, within budget. And finally Melanie, our incredible project manager who practically slept at our home those last few weeks ensuring we had an on-time close.

We are looking forward to many happy years in our Homestead Built Home!

This review is a little bit different, as I'm the Owner of Southern Seasons Heating and Air Conditioning. We are responsible for the HVAC work on most of Homesteads homes. As a sub contractor it is so refreshing to work for a builder that takes such pride and care in crafting beautiful, well built homes in a timely manner. Their projects run smoothly and efficiently with care given to the details that make a house your dream home. As a sub contractor we are extremely impressed with them and love doing their houses. Not only do they love their clients but they make a lot of effort in making sure that their subs are happy and set up for success, and this leads to projects being completed with pride and quality work. We can't recommend them enough!!
