Custom Home Builder reviews across the US

I called NJGCB to demolish my house and build me new house. I were shocked with the speed and the experience they brought to my new home. NJGCB worked with me through the design and to final completion. The entire process took 14 weeks. Highly recommend NJGCB for your next project

NJGCB did great work on my house, they raised it and redid the foundation since it was damaged. Mickeal was very nice and tentative to my requests and did a great job. I recommend to all my family's houses that were damaged in the hurricane.

I really enjoy working with NJGCB (owner Mickeal) on remodeling my home. Mickeal is hands on with everything on my project, always available to take calls and there is no detail he hasn't considered. He is flexible when it comes to changes and he genuinely cares about the quality of the work. When he says he wants you to love your home, he really means it! I have recommended Mickeal to friends and will continue to do so.

Like many others, I felt the devastating effects of Hurricane Sandy, but how I chose to recover was the real challenge. I was referred to NJ General Contractors from a friend and could not have been happier with my decision. They were productive in helping me with the NJ RREM program. They were honest, efficient and provided me with the best service towards fixing my home. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends and use them again.

We bought our home from NJ General Contractors & Builders. The house is beautiful and very well designed. Mickeal is responsive and professional with any questions we have about appliances, construction, etc. He's also been eager to help with all our minor punchlist items and has been great as we've settled into our new home. Thank you, Mickeal!

NJGCB Construction is restoring my faith in contractors. We've had some bad experiences over the last few years that have made us very reluctant to engage contractors unless we absolutely have to do so.NJGCB were terrific to work with. They are extraordinarily attentive and communicative and their workmanship is superb. I look forward to working with them again. All the pricing was transparent, every job quoted separately, so at all times we knew where we are with the expenses. We had a great designer, that followed our instructions (wishes), yet would always guide us toward sensible solutions that would save us money.
We highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again.

Mike and the team have all been amazing to work with. They took over a job from another contractor I had to fire due to a lack of quality and performance. NJGCB has been a polar opposite the team is hard working, clean, organized, and detailed.

They have been gut renovating an apartment for me. The apartment included a new kitchen, hardwood floors, bathroom, new windows, moving walls, all new electrical and plumbing. Also finishing a basement inclusive of sump pump and French drain, pouring a new slab, and installing washers and dryers for my tenants to use. All in a brownstone circa the 1880s in Jersey City.

I have already recommended them to multiple friends and coworkers and plan to use them for any and all renovations I have in the area in the future!

NJGCB has done extensive work for my home. I can't express my gratitude towards Mike who has brought my vision into reality. I am so thankful for their commitment to great service with great quality in a timely manner. I will undoubtedly recommend them to anyone looking for any construction/renovation related work.

I recently hired New Jersey General Construction for a demolition and excavation project at my property, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The team, led by Mike, was professional, efficient, and a pleasure to work with.

From the beginning, Mike was responsive and transparent, providing clear estimates and timelines for the work. On the day of the project, the team arrived on time and got straight to work. They were careful and precise in their demolition and excavation, ensuring that the work was done safely and to the highest standards.

Throughout the project, Mike and his team were a joy to work with. They were respectful, courteous, and always willing to answer any questions I had. I was particularly impressed with their attention to detail and their commitment to ensuring that the project was completed to my satisfaction.

In the end, the results were exactly what I had hoped for. The demolition and excavation were done perfectly, and the site was left clean and tidy. I would not hesitate to recommend New Jersey general Construction to anyone in need of demolition or excavation work. Thank you, Mike and team, for your excellent work!

We are very happy with the purchase of our home. Mike did a wonderful job building our beautiful home. Levan is an excellent project manager and a true gem to this company.

It was an incredible experience working with NJGCB to build our new house. It was our first time working with Mike so we did not necessarily know what to expect. Our initial discussions were promising although we had a lot of expectations in terms of what we wanted our home to look and feel like. Many of the customizations we wanted weren't necessarily the easiest changes to make but we thoroughly enjoyed NJGCB's approach to the whole process. Mike and his team are very practical and understanding when it comes to the building process. They focus on the cosmetics with as much detail as they do with the whole structural integrity of the house and they will work with you until you are satisfied with the results. One of the main things that stood out to us through the process is how responsive they are. We had a lot of questions throughout the whole process and they created a group chat for us and stayed highly available answering all our questions. Mike kept himself very professional through the process but he was also very accommodating of some of the things we told him we timely needed. We found him to not only be very knowledgeable about everything related to new construction but most of all we found him to be a very genuine and trustworthy human being (which is not at all easy to find!). Our new house is already built and complete but if we (or our friends/family) ever decide to go for a new one we already know who we are going to go with! :)

I have lived in this new home for a year and am very satisfied with the build quality and comfort. First the design of the house is beautiful and we continue to get compliments.

Like all new homes, there have been a few hiccups and things requiring fixing however I cannot laud Mikael enough for being responsive and respectful to all my questions and concerns. I respect Mikael for putting his words behind his work.

Had a great experience working with Mike and his firm NJGCB. The process was seamless and the house came out as expected. Highly recommended if you are looking to build your dream house.

What a journey! Over the past 10 months, we've had the pleasure of working with Mickael on our new dream home. The process was smooth from planning to delivery. Mickael consistently addressed any concerns we had and provided regular updates throughout the construction. We were fortunate to have project manager Levan involved, which greatly improved our experience.

The communication was excellent; the team responded to any questions or comments within an hour, which is rare. The quality of the work is exceptional, the best we've seen in the area. The builder is a well-established company with years of experience, familiarity with the town, and access to high-quality materials, which gave us confidence—and we were right.

Thanks to the team for greatly exceeding our expectations and delivering beyond what we imagined.

Wanted to add an update, at 1 year of the closing of our house. Mike and Levan have been incredible at making sure our house was well taken care of. Any problems that stood out were addressed timely and special consideration were given to issues that were time-sensitive in nature. Levan has been more than instrumental in dealing with all types of issues (some involving multiple vendors at times) and ensuring they are timely fixed. His commitment to the job of making sure the home owners are happy is second to none! It feels gratifying that we have purchased our house from a team that really cares about providing a great experience to the buyers, than just treating it as a transaction. Amazing job overall!

Really good experience overall. Easy to communicate with, work quality was strong, and they followed through on what they said. Would recommend.

Great Experience to work with NJGCB CORP, Very professional and Responsive.

NJGCB team was professional, responsive, and the quality was excellent. They kept us updated the whole time and delivered exactly what they promised. Highly recommend!

This general contractor provided excellent service from start to finish. The team was professional, punctual, and highly skilled. They communicated clearly throughout the project and paid great attention to detail. The work was completed on time and within budget, and the results are fantastic. Their craftsmanship and dedication made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I would highly recommend them for any construction or renovation project.

Just bought a house built by NJ GCB - it was nearly built when we put in the offer. The house is very well built and well insulated. Many vendors have come by and complimented the build (plumber, hvac specialist, water filtration, electrician, etc.). We are very happy with the home. The project manager, Levan has been excellent to communicate with and has been extremely helpful.

One of the best in the business! Highly recommend for your dream home build or remodel!
