Jerrid and his team did an excellent job (especially in the 105 heat wave) replacing my old unsafe deck with one that will last decades. Hard working, honest, and will go the extra mile to ensure the job is done right.

My parents worked with Jerrid a few years ago and highly recommended him. He did such an amazing job on their deck, they had 2 more families on the same street who contracted with Jerrid. When we began obtaining bids for a new deck construction, Jerrid not only had the best customer service, but his price was the best out of all of the bids we received. After we had a project start date, his communication was phenomenal. If the weather was bad, he would send us an update as to the status. I can't say enough positive about him; communication, craftsmanship, attention to detail, offering suggestions for any questions we had and all the while, created a masterpiece in our back yard. We live in a neighborhood where houses are fairly close to each other and Jerrid was able to construct a privacy wall to offer a little extra customization and privacy. I could go on and on in this review - if you are looking for exceptional quality, communication and professionalism, your search will end with Jerrid. My wife and I could not be happier with the outcome. We will specifically reach out to him for any future projects.

Jerrid and his team did a fantastic job removing some old stairs and replacing with a lovely 8x10 deck. They got the entire job done in one weekend. They were very friendly, left the backyard cleaner than they found it and fixed a gate to my backyard free of charge. Would highly recommend!

We wanted to replace and extend our old deck. When we spoke to Jerrid, he said there were a few previous projects he had worked on nearby and that we could go and see his work. We went ahead and are absolutely thrilled with our new deck - we love it and thinks it looks amazing. Jerrid was great to work with, so much so, we have another project we want him to do and we're looking forward to that.

Jerrid and his worker were absolutely wonderful! Jerrid had great communication and kept us posted every step of the way. They were very polite and friendly. They were even ok with loving on our pets. They worked very hard and paid close attention to detail! We even loved his variety of music choices….classic rock, Christian, etc. He was all around a great human being. We were truly blessed to have this chance to work with him. We are extremely happy with our new deck. The quality of work is excellent. The crew ran into a few complications during our project and Jerrid made sure to take the time and fix it right - even though in meant a few more days of work than originally planned. Jerrid's communication and responsiveness was great. We received a few different cost estimates and Jerrid's price was right in line with the others. We went with Sunshine as they had the best reviews and really glad we did.

Charles was a great lead for our deck project. Would highly recommend him. The project looks great and we are very happy with the outcome. There were a couple of hiccups with some of the contractors / installers but Charles got it all figured out and corrected. I would recommend and use them again.

We replaced an old deck with a larger deck using composite materials. It look great! Our sales/designer guy Adam helped create our vision (and talked us out of some costly ideas that we really didn’t need). We also opted for installing an under deck waterproofing system which added almost 250 sf of dry usable space to our small townhouse. Our quality control manager Charles was in daily contact snd answered all of our questions. Although we had some missed communication near the end of the project a call to Tasha the Production Coordinator addressed our issues asap. The HOA team was awesome in submitting all the paperwork to our two HOAs and followed up to ensure the project was approved. The HD team sent prompt emails to let us know when deliveries were scheduled and when inspections were passed. The install crew was always prompt, polite and did excellent work. Although HD Exteriors is on the pricier side you will have the confidence to know your project will be completed to your satisfaction.

HD Decks & Exteriors completed my dream project of adding a new deck with the water removing drainage system with a concrete patio below. This was a retirement/"20 year anniversary in the home" gift to myself. This project turned out better than what I was dreaming of. 😃 The installed sliding glass door, all of the materials, the look of the deck, the patio, etc is superior and is the talk of the neighborhood now.

The Project Manager Charles and all of the workers where phenomenal; they where all extremely knowledgeable, informative and very helpful. Most importantly they where wonderful and patient with my daughter's dog who put himself in-charge of security and wanted to supervise everything; that really put my mind to ease. I highly recommend HD Decks and Exteriors!

I wanted to finally put a deck on my townhouse. After a few quotes, I ended up choosing HD Exteriors because they were the most transparent quote. The rep really worked with me to understand what I wanted dimensions wise and they had the product I really wanted; TimberTechs' PVC line. (Highly recommend!)
Their office handled everything, permits, inspections, etc.
The workers were great. The took time to answer my questions and kept a clean work area through the entire process.
HD Exteriors even had a great financing option of 0% for 18 months.
If you're looking for work on your house, definitely give them a chance!

HD Exteriors was great to work with throughout our entire project, and the final product turned out excellent! Their communication, transparency, timeliness, and job/industry knowledge were top-notch and pricing was fair. Would highly recommend to anyone in the Arlington area interested in a backyard re-design.

My experience with HD Decks and Exteriors was a wonderful one. I identified them as a possible contractor to replace deck boards on my relatively large deck by looking on their internet site. Everything from there happened in a timely fashion and with a high degree of professionalism. I'm looking forward to using the deck this summer and in summers to come without having to first face the job of restaining it!

HD is amazing

We are pleased with the deck built by HD exteriors. Nelson Simpson was easy to contact. All questions answered to our satisfaction. We hoped the stairs would not show exposed screws even with the plugs that match the deck boards. We hoped HD exteriors will come up with a solve if there is one.
