We had a great experience with Gibson Fence and Deck. This was our second project together. This time, they did an excellent job on both our arbor and fence. The craftsmanship is fantastic. Everything feels very sturdy and clearly built to last. They were on time, very communicative throughout the project, and incredibly easy and pleasant to work with. We especially appreciated that the crew came up with a creative idea to improve the landscaping borders and steps along the side of our yard. Even though it wasn’t originally in scope, they were able to add it without adding much time or cost. The whole process was smooth and professional and we’re really happy with the result. Highly recommend.

They replaced our old fence with a brand new one in only 2 days. The new fence looks much better than the original as well. They do excellent work.

We recently had a privacy fence installed in our yard to block our home from a busy street in Kirkland, and it turned out even better than we imagined. The fence gives our front yard a sense of peace and privacy that we have never had before.

Damon took the time to answer all of our questions and really listen to what we wanted. But what made the process stand out even more was the crew on site. Jerry was incredible throughout the project. We had a large cedar post which needed to be fitted into a tricky corner of our yard. It was heavier than expected and the angle was awkward, but Jerry didn’t hesitate to solve the issue to make sure it fit perfectly. That level of care was consistent throughout the whole fence. He checked in with us daily, asked for feedback on placement and spacing, and made sure every detail matched our vision.

By the end of the project every board was straight, the spacing was perfect, and the cedar’s natural beauty really shines. The crew left the yard cleaner than they found it, and they genuinely care about doing the job right.

I can honestly say this was one of the best home improvement experiences we’ve had. Damon and the team made the whole process easy and enjoyable. The result is something we will appreciate every time we step outside.

We hired Gibson Fence and Deck to install trex decking with a cable railing and stairs in our backyard. The crew was professional and always willing to answer questions. They showed up when they saus they would and kept the job site tidy. The deck feels solid and sturdy, looks great and the railing and stairs were built with care. Gibson Fence and Deck rebuilt our entry stair landings, and I honestly can’t believe the difference. Jerry was the one leading the project and made the whole process so easy. He spent time walking us through why Trex composite decking was the better choice for our stairs. It holds up in wet weather, doesn’t need constant staining or sealing, and is way less maintenance overall. That explanation really put our minds at ease and made us confident we were making the right call.
The crew was great and made sure every board fit perfectly, every step was solid, and the angles and spacing were just right. Jerry checked in with us regularly to make sure we were happy with how it was coming together, and he didn’t hesitate to answer all our questions, no matter how small.
Now that it’s finished, it looks amazing. The best part is knowing it’s going to last for years without the constant work we’d have to do with regular wood. Jerry and the Gibson Fence and Deck team really went above and beyond.

We were very happy with the whole process with Gibson Fence and Deck. The owner, Damon was very knowledgeable and responded quickly to our request for a quote as well as any additional question we had. The team was able to complete the project swiftly and in a timely manner that was coordinated with our schedules. Shout out to Ramiro and Chuy for their excellent craftsmanship, communication and ability to work with us on the gate design on site. We would definitely use them again for any future projects.

We hired this company to build a custom pool deck around our hot tub at our home and the results were outstanding. We chose Ipe (Brazilian hardwood) and the craftsmanship really shows. We had a very specific vision for the design and lighting, and they executed it exactly as we had imagined. The lighting adds a great atmosphere at night and really elevates the space. Communication from the crew was excellent throughout the project, and it’s clear they take pride in doing things the right way. We couldn’t be happier with the final result.

We worked with Gibson Fence & Deck on a new mahogany deck, and they did a fantastic job from start to finish. The deck looks beautiful and the craftsmanship is excellent.

A special shoutout to Chuy and Ramiro—they were great to work with and super flexible. When we asked to deviate from the original plan and install new railings, they accommodated the change without any pushback and made it feel easy.

They were also the only contractor we spoke with who could handle the full scope of what we needed: not just the decking, but also plumbing-related work. They updated the garden hose that had been feeding our pond to a much more professional (and less conspicuous) PVC line, and they also got running water to our studio.

Overall, great experience and we’re really happy with the outcome. Highly recommend.

I sent them photos of the deck since the weather was too bad to come out. They gave me a quote online from the pics. The workers showed up on time the next morning and completed the job. They did a great job at a fair price.

They are very responsive, impressive work and best price. The crew showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves, and did a fantastic job building a pool deck for us. It looks great and we are so happy to have this extra space and access to the pool.

I contracted Winston Salem Deck Builders to install a Composit deck around our newly purchased above ground swimming pool.
Despite having to reschedule the build several time because of delays in delivering the pool. Mark was patient and professional enough to keep a crew ready as soon as the pool was delivered...and as promised had his crew begin work that following Monday, by the weekend we relaxing on our brand new deck.
The WSD crew were efficient and professional and made every effort to fill any special request we made during construction. Upon completion the crew was sure to cleanup any debris left laying in the yard.
