Our family loved working with Mike and his crew. Mike was extremely professional, honest, thoughtful, responsive and creative. Importantly, he listened to each and every concern and preference we had and truly cared. His crew was respectful and so detail oriented. Before we worked with Regan Total Construction, we did our diligence. The reference calls I did were spot on. There were no surprises or disappointments during the process. And, the end product is phenomenal! We absolutely love our partially covered deck and outdoor kitchen. We would work with Mike and his team again and again and highly recommend them.

Give Mike a call for your next deck project! The price was a little over budget but the work is spectacular. Mike and his crew lead by Zack work quick but extremely efficient. Mike was also able to get us on the schedule a little earlier then he initially agreed on.He was also very good on communication with updates or delays.I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new deck or work to an existing deck to give Mike at Regan Total Construction a call.

Mike and his crew were great from start to finish. Mike took our vague (and somewhat awkward) idea and came up with a design that far exceeded our expectations. The crew showed up the first day right on time and worked steadily every day until the job was done and done right. They were professional, kind, and clearly skilled in their trade. Exactly what you’re looking for in a deck contractor. I’m very happy with the entire project. Mike Regan is exactly what I was looking for in a contractor. He is aware of the investment a project like this is and doesn't take it lightly. He really listened to what I was looking for, and was ready with suggestions to help me achieve what I envisioned. He was also very easy to work with when it came to changes I wanted to make and always responded right away with any questions. I also had a patio built under the deck and Mike connected me with a hardscape contractor. They are two different companies but they work well with each other. Mike made it all very easy for me.

His crew was absolutely great. Very professional, organized, and definitely skilled. I am really happy with their workmanship. They worked on my project throughout the winter, even when it was snowing. There were a couple times during the framing process when conditions were icy and not safe to walk along the joists which are at a second level height. Mike was immediately in contact, keeping me up to date with situations like that (which there were very few of) as well as all phases of the project which was completed right on schedule.

I have no hesitation in recommending Mike Regan for everyone’s deck project.

I am writing this review while sitting on my new deck, sipping coffee on this beautiful spring morning. I couldn’t be happier if I was on vacation in some faraway place. I knew the deck would be a big improvement, but I’m surprised at just how much I love it now that it’s done.

Regan Total Construction was a great company to work with. Since my project was a large, second story deck with a rain escape system to cover the patio I have planned below, I wanted to be sure it was not only beautiful but safe and sound. Based on their portfolio, reviews, and credentials I was sure RTC had the experience and qualifications for the job.

The whole process went so smoothly. Mike is organized, knowledgeable, and a great communicator. He takes the time to listen to what you want, offers suggestions and ideas, and helps you work through all the decisions. Every step of the process was communicated clearly, and if I had questions he always responded promptly. The guys were here every day like clockwork, unless it was really pouring rain, and they got everything done when they said they would. It was a pleasure doing business with Mike and his team.

I am writing this review with a view of my new deck and could not be happier. From my initial contact with Mike Regan, I was 100% sure he would be the contractor that we went with when we first considered getting our new composite deck. Mike emailed me back promptly, taking the time to address each and every one of my questions in detail. His knowledge and attention to detail was evident immediately. It was clear that he was methodical and thoughtful and the ultimate professional.

Mike, Matt and every member of the crew were a dream to work with. They were incredibly professional and very hard working. The crew became members of our family that week as my sons excitedly watched their trucks arrive in the morning and loved to watch the construction being done. ("Construction" became the go-to game in our house!) Matt even gave my older son a Regan Total Construction baseball cap which he still wears proudly as his construction hat whenever we go out!

The deck itself is incredible. Sleek and beautiful and has become my favorite view or place to sit. We could not be happier with the finished product or the experience from start to finish, Regan Total construction is a no brainer for your next project.

Mike and his crew did an amazing job replacing our old deck with a new trex deck. They were courteous, hardworking and detail oriented all the way through. Would recommend for anyone's deck project.

From the first conversations, I was comfortable working with Mike Regan of Regan Total Construction (RTC). He came with a recommendation as a precise carpenter. As we talked though the replacement of my old deck, it was clear that he wanted cut corners or compromise quality. Mike recommended replacing all the old frame even though it seemed solid.

We are glad we replaced the frame. RTC covered all the beams and joists with tape to protect from water intrusion. We no longer will have worries about the frame, as it will outlast us.

All three contractors we got estimates from recommended Trex. RTC was the only authorized Trex installer. So we also got a labor warranty from Trex, not just material warranty.
While Mike wasn’t on site here a lot, his crew has that same exacting, high quality ethic. They removed a section of deck because it didn’t meet well. (Old deck wasn’t exactly square, and they used those measurements.) The section looks much better after it was redone. And they also worked hard.

Mike has been great to deal with the last little details as well.

Bottom line, if you want a company that will build a deck for you as if they were building it for their own home, go with Regan Total Construction.

Shortly after I sent photos to Mike Regan of our decaying deck, he came and discussed what we wanted and made recommendations, and brought samples and models of different styles and colors of composite material. Very helpful was sending us to the lumber yard in Enfield which sold the materials where we could see full size examples of the products and visualize various colors, decks, stairs and railings. Mike was very good at explaining what options we had and what he suggested we consider doing. His crew was professional, efficient and painstaking with the small details. In five days they removed the old wooden deck, added an additional support post to accommodate an increase of 16 sq. ft. (for total 238 sq. ft.) and completed the work. He and his crew answered our questions about the various stages and methods of construction which gave us utmost confidence in their capabilities. Decks are their specialty and primary business. We are very pleased with the results of their work and highly recommend Regan Total Construction. 5/12/2020

Fantastic experience from end to end. After contacting many contractors about building a deck for our new home we settled on Michael Regan and his team. Throughout the bid process he was the most responsive, took the time to create something within both budget and experience desires in mind, and answered every question we had. Once we signed the contract with Michael he recommended we go to a local spot to pick out colors and gave us some great recommendations. When time came to schedule the work he was clear and specific about when his team would arrive and when they would be complete. His team and workers were polite, clean, professional, showed up each day on time and worked quickly, thoroughly and most importantly with highest quality in mind. We couldn’t be happier with both the finished product and the process. Michael is a rare find in an industry where it feels nearly impossible to trust the word and work product of a contractor.
