Jason was very helpful when our heater stopped working. He came out the same day for a free second opinion and offered pricing for repair and replacement at competitive prices without pushing anything. We had him install a new furnace instead of repair when we weighed our options. He took his time to explain things and showed up on time, staying until the job was finished. He is very through, detail oriented, and easy to get ahold of.

Fixed within 1 hr, very honest and cheap. Really appreciate the quick and helpful service. Will recommend to anyone!

During a bedroom renovation, a pipe in our baseboard radiator was punctured. Jason was quick to respond and replaced the ruptured pipe. While he was here, I requested him to move a radiator in the room under renovation as well. Once the room was complete, Jason and Bill returned to install the radiator covers, which they handled quickly and very efficiently (and cleanly as well!). It's also great to note that as well as being knowledgeable and efficient, Jason and Bill are also personable. 100% recommended!

Dec 2025 Edit: Jason and Bill service our boiler and hot water heater yearly and they always do a great job. Scheduling is quick and painless, and they're also great to talk to during the service call (it's great that they love animals so much - just ask my dog). Some companies have service that wanes through the years, but not Old School - we continue to recommend them 100% to ANYONE and everyone in the area looking for sales or service.

Old School is excellent. The small business is responsive to clients and knowledgeable in the field. They are always on time and will make multiple visits to make sure everything is working. I recommend them for any HVAC need.

I'm so grateful I found Old School Heating and Cooling - Jason was super responsive and just an all around great person! I'm a new homeowner and know finding a good HVAC guy is one of the most important things to find - and I've found mine! Got set up with their monthly service plan so I know I'll be able to have someone do regular check on my heating/cooling system to make it last as long as safely possible! I'd recommend them to anyone, any day!
UPDATE: Nov 2024 - just an add-on, Jason and team have been critical in getting my home into top notch HVAC shape - from replacing the chimney liner (which was causing leaking and mold in the basement), to the latest installation (humidifier), I really can’t recommend this company enough! I am a forever client!

We had a boiler and a hot water heater installed at the same time. Jason walked us through choosing the right system for us (for price, longevity, and quality). They were on time, professional, and friendly as well. Would not hesitate to recommend or to use Old School again in the future!

Edited to add that we've had Jason and Bill out for yearly service on the equipment they installed. They're always prompt and curtious, and they're both enjoyable to talk to. We've also had them out for a mishap we had while remodeling a bedroom (a radiator pipe ruptured) and they were great with the emergency service as well.

Old School Heating & Cooling were an absolute godsend. My AC had been out for 2 days and my house temp was at 80, with hotter days to come. I called on a Sat and they scheduled me for the same day in the early evening. They came an hour after I called because they finished another job early! Not only did they fix my problem immediately with parts they had on their truck, but they also explained what had likely happened. They inspected the rest of my indoor unit, and even my outdoor unit (including removing a mouse that had climbed up in there). Because they are focused on repairing what is wrong and prevention, rather than upselling new products or convincing me something needed to be replaced rather than fixed, I immediately signed up for their service plan. My bill was so much lower than it would have been had I gone with one of the big companies. I could not recommend them more highly! You will absolutely not be sorry to give them a call!!

I cannot say enough great things about Old School Heating and Cooling. Extra reliable and so friendly. I have a very old unit and Jason has kept it running. The best thing I ever did was sign up for a contract. I have the peace of mind that my unit will be inspected and cleaned twice a year. I would never use any other company.

I highly recommend Old School! The staff are polite and friendly. Jason came out and took care of my air-conditioning problem promptly. He explained to me what the issues were and advised me on maintaining my system going forward. I wouldn't hesitate to reach out again if I have an issue.

These guys are amazing! Great, prompt, clean, courteous, I totally trust them with my house. Can’t see Kylie enough of the work that they did for us. We had a full HVAC and heating system replacement. They went above and beyond and actually helped us reroute the chimney for a hot water heater And corrected a problem that the original installer made. They helped us find warranties kept cost down kept everything clean and haven’t had a single problem since. I recommend their service plan too.

Bill was absolutely great, he was very thorough in checking everything, he did not attempt to push unneeded repairs or replacements, I would highly recommend Old School Heating and Cooling to any of my friends.

Horrible service. I would give them a -1 star . I used them about 3 years ago to service my system and they were good , responsive etc. But with time some smaller businesses do change. I reached out to them about 2 months ago asking them to do a check up on my system. I followed up with a few calls as I it was getting warmer. My system finally stopped work / slowed down (compressor needs help). It stopped at 3:00am. I called their 24/7 hrs. number only to get more voicemail and eventually Jason called back at 8:00am indicating they can't service the system. They use to be professional and courtesy, but like a lot of good small companies , they been to change overtime. Don't bother calling them for your 24/7 hr emergency service. Jason was rude and would not entertain a discussion about coming out to service my system. Take my advise and go for the bigger companies. Cheaper cost some times brings cheaper quality and service. I have never given any company a bad review, but there isn't enough space and time for me to explain had bad this company has become. Customer Service is not what it use to be.

Great company and a great find / referral -- Jason came out to our home a few months back to review some potential issues with heating/cooling a few areas of our home. Didn't try to sell or push any solutions, just gave honest suggestions to consider before any big investment or changes. A few months later, our AC unit stopped working and Jason and Bill returned to diagnose the issue, attempted a few potential solutions that ultimately didn't work -- never tried to push sales or upsell anything, gave straightforward feedback and solutions.

We went with Old School Heating & Cooling to ultimately replace two air conditioners in our home and couldn't be happier with the service -- everything from the quote through installation was communicated clearly and all work completed quickly and effectively. Will be using them as lifetime customers from here on out!

Jason is beyond amazing and has a customer for life. He came out after hours on a Friday night in less than an hour to help when our AC stopped working during a heatwave. He was super honest and trustworthy and even though it was a tiny simple fix he actually went beyond and just did a service on our system to make sure everything was in tip top shape. Cannot recommend enough! Thanks again!

ETA: That first post is from 2019 I believe - and now in 2025 Old School is still as amazing as it has been since day one!! I had an issue with my compressor on a Sunday night and by Monday at noon it was fixed! :)
