Reviews of local pros in New Castle, Delaware

They arrived on time and professionally did work contracted (1 large 2.5 story tree down, 2 Stumps) and even some extra limbs I hadn't thought about before. They shaped up a tree I was "hacking up" and now looks beautiful. Came home from work and my yard was spotless! Thanks for a Job Well Done.
I highly recommend🌲🪵

Carlos and his staff were all very friendly and professional. He provided me with an estimate that was well under all of his competitors and was able to complete the job within two days. Two limbs were removed in a very quick and efficient manner and clean up was a breeze. Will recommend his service to family, friends and anyone in need of tree service. Thanks Carlos!

You know that positive feeling you get when you find a company that truly goes above and beyond for you? Well I found such a company recently! Carlos and his team at Crickets Tree Service removed two trees for us today. One was a very large cherry blossom tree with an enormous amount of exposed roots (some 12inches above ground) and the second was a small tree that was leaning and near the power lines.

I was shocked how quickly he and his team were able to remove the trees, chip them up, and then grind there massive stumps! Incredible! Not to mention he left me the larger branches which he even cut into firewood for me! They were so neat and tidy with everything as well.

In addition to their excellent work and how extremely friendly they were, was their incredibly good price! I couldn't beat it no matter how hard I tried. In fact no one else could even come close to it! You will not be disappointed with Crickets Tree Service trust me!! I hope to do business with you again Carlos! You are the best!

I called right after a major storm (someone actually answered the phone at 7 pm!) and they said they’d come out to estimate the next day at 5 pm. Several minutes later Carlos showed up in his truck and assessed the damage and said his crew would be back in the morning. They were here by 8 am. They took down damaged trees, fallen trees and branches and cleaned everything up for us and our neighbors. Carlos and his crew were very professional and did excellent work. Will definitely have them back for more work. Thanks to all for such a quick response when there was so much other storm damage all around us.

They were great! I contacted Crickets Tree Service, and Pamela came out for an estimate within two hours (she happened to be doing other work in my vicinity). Carlos and his crew came out two days after I accepted their proposal, and did a fantastic and rapid job trimming branches from two trees. They hauled away all branches and debris, and raked and blew all leaves away. Outstanding, quick, quality work! I highly recommend them!

Carlos and his team were very professional. Carlos took the time to really explain what would be best for my tree to clean it up. Great price and made sure the work was done right and the yard was spotless when they left. Will only contact Carlos and his team in the future, and I have even recommended them to others.

I highly recommend Crickets Tree Service. They responded quickly to our Angie’s List inquiry, and they were able to schedule an on-site visit to discuss our needs promptly. Crickets Tree service provided a good quote for their services, and they were able to get us on their schedule in a reasonable amount of time. They removed three Birch trees (two of which were leaning over the house), removed a large pine tree leaning towards the neighbors house next to our shed, cleaned up another tree, and removed a small ornamental tree as well. They made very quick work of it all in a very professional manner. They hauled everything off, cleaned up the areas, and left everything looking great. We were so impressed with Carlos and his team that we immediately asked about getting on his schedule again for some other work in a different area of the property. From Carlos to his wife and to his team, we were happy the entire process. They are a great company, and we will always recommend them to anyone looking for tree work! Thank you so much, Crickets!!!

Just hired Crickets Tree Service for a fallen tree we had and they were great! They came and gave us a quote within an hour, came the next day and got everything done very efficiently and in the pouring rain! I would recommend their services.

Cricket — the best!
They came on time and gave me a great quote. I requested a discount, and it was granted. They called me earlier to confirm the time and arrived within a few hours. The professional, fantastic team completed a very difficult job — the tree was in the backyard between two houses, and the truck had to be parked on the parkway close to another tree. It was not an easy job because other branches were in the way.

I asked them to be careful with the neighbor’s backyard (the “bitchy” one 😊) — and they did exactly that! Not a single branch fell there, and all small branches were picked up immediately.

Courteous, professional, and efficient. Beat all competitors around!
Highly recommended!

I would have given 5 stars if they took away the trash and swept the utility closet.

Happy with their cleaning service. a couple of days back for the first time, I hired Xpress Maids for house cleaning. These cleaners clean the house so well that I am extremely pleased with the cleaning work.

Friendly, professional, and not to mention my yard looks outstanding! Would recommend to anyone looking for a landscaper!

Hector was recommended by my brother and I can see why!!! His work was excellent for a variety of reasons. He was responsive, we called him and received a call back and a quote within 2 days. We called 3 other businesses and struggled to get a response or even a quote. He is a great value, he was the most competitive and reasonable price we and our 2 neighbors received He was on time, even early! He scheduled our job for the following Saturday, but then called us when he had a mid week opening! He and his team were here by 8 am, up in the trees within 30 minutes and our work was done and yard cleaned up within the hour. We needed Hector for several large branches from 3 trees in the yard, although our neighbors had more extensive work done. Collectively they removed 5 LARGE trees from their yards and we literally sat on the back porch and watched them expertly and safely bring these 75 ft trees down. We could not have asked for a more positive, professional and affordable experience. Just like my brother, we would highly recommend his work. Thank you again Hector! 6/23/2020

We had a phenomenal experience with Martinez Landscaping! Several large areas in our yard needed attention this summer. After calling Hector for a free estimate, he arrived the same day, surveyed the area, and provided a reasonable price. Hector and his crew arrived on the date we agreed upon. Despite the rainy weather in the beginning, Hector and his crew pushed forward and delivered on their promise. They did a transformative job on the areas in question. We will definitely go back to Martinez Landscaping for our annual and intermittent yard projects. Hands down. I highly recommend the Martinez Landscaping Team!

Five stars aren’t enough! Hector and his crew performed a miracle on my overgrown gardens, truly beautiful and meticulous work! Hector was very responsive and communicated very well, consulting me when any questions arose. My neighbor said my property looks spectacular!! And I agree! Would absolutely recommend Martinez Landscaping!!!

Martinez did a superb landscaping job on my property
They removed all weeds.trummed hedges and rose bushes and spread mulch on all beds. I would highly recommend their company.

Happy with the outcome of the work. Had them do a clean out of my yard. Remove and install new pavers I also had my patio power washed. It looks brand new. Very satisfied. Honest guy!!!

I highly recommend Hector and his crew. They have been doing our yard for the last two months. Our yard has never looked better! Hector came to our home on a Thursday to give us a quote and the following day our yard was added to their rotation. His guys are professional they leave everything nice and clean. Super happy with their services.

Very, very happy with the detailed work done on my property by Martinez Landscaping! When I called to ask for an inspection and quote for a fall clean up, Hector Martinez came the same day for a quote. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the landscape and trees on my property, taking the time to discuss with me what could be done to beautify the area. When he and his crew came, on time and as promised, they went above and beyond with the cleanup, cleaning areas that I didn’t even know they intended to do. They worked very hard, efficiently, and left everything super neat and clean. His price was the most affordable that I’ve encountered to date. So excited to be working with this awesome company! Looking forward to the springtime! Thank you, Martinez Landscaping-you made my day!!

I had very old bushes that were slowly dying off each year in the front of my home. I wasn't sure how to handle the situation. I called Hector for an assessment He pointed out the fact that the remaining bushes were dead in the back where they were touching the house. We decided to remove everything and start from scratch. I'm a very nervous client needing to know everything before it happens. Hector is a chill contractor, easy going, calmed my nerves and the results were beautiful. Hector and his crew were fantastic. He always included me in the decision making throughout the process. I respect his skills. He is very talented as well as his crew. Everyone was polite, respectful and on time. I intend to have him back to work on trimming my trees and remulching, etc. If you are a "Nervous Nelly" and need to be in control, you need to call Hector. You won't be anxious nor will you be disappointed!

Extremely happy with the quality of work and plants. The crew was very nice and efficient. Looking forward to having them back in the future.
