Reviews of local pros in New Castle, Delaware

The landscape beds around our house are looking the best they ever have. Hector and his crew cleaned, weeded, trimmed and mulched and we couldn’t be happier with the results.

Hector and his crew were great. Our backyard was in desperate need of a clean out. The end results are amazing. So much more space in our backyard now. I would highly recommend Martinez Landscaping.

5/5 highly recommend, Martinez Landscaping for all your landscaping and tree removal needs. Hector came out the same day to give me a quote and promptly started my tree removal a few days later. He was very good with communication and did the job right the first. I was very impressed with the speed of the tree removal and great care he and his crew took care while working in my yard.

I had a great experience with Martinez Landscaping for a water drainage system they installed. They had great communication leading up to the job and set expectations for when they would be able to arrive. They showed up on time and did the work very professionally. I appreciate how well they cleaned up everything afterwards. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have any landscaping, drainage, or tree work done.

Hector and his team did a wonderful job removing a 32 year old dying tree on my front lawn. Very quick to schedule and complete the work. I recommend him and look forward to planning more home improvements with him.

Hector and crew were fantastic to work with. 5 star communication and high quality work. Our new landscapers for any job no matter how big or small. Thank you Martinez Landscaping.

I would highly recommend Martinez Landscaping. I found them through Google search and was not disappointed. Hector was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He was very responsive, gave us a fair price, and his crew did a great job replacing my existing yard with new sod and adding a landscape design. We will not hesitate to use them again.

From start to finish, Hector and his crew were dedicated to ensuring that every detail of the job reflected my vision. The crew worked diligently and responded to all my questions with great professionalism. I am very satisfied with the final look of the landscaping around my patio. I am already working on plans for the next project. I highly recommend Hector Martinez.

Hector and his helper did a wonderful job of a challenging fall cleanup of the entire yard. Arrived as promised, early in the morning, got to work right away, and were finished and cleaned up by 330PM. I would highly recommend Hector and his business to anyone who needs any type of yard work done for a reasonable price.

This is an EXCELLENT landscaping company. My husband and I had some of the most scraggly, dangerous arborvitae in our yard and desperately needed a fix. The company owner, Hector came out the same day I called to provide a free estimate. His prices were very competitive and he was a pleasure to work with; both friendly and knowledge, as well as patient in explaining the work and answering our numerous questions. What’s more, is that in less than 24 hours, his team had completed the work, and we were left with a beautiful new back yard. It’s almost hard to believe how easy and seamless it all was and I watched it happen!! From the price, to the speed, and how simple it was to work with this company, I do not hesitate to recommend Martinez Landscaping. I personally look forward to working with them again. We are so happy we called them! Thank you, Hector and team!!

We had an amazing landscaping and holiday lighting experience with Martinez Landscaping! They were professional, knowledgeable about the plants, and punctual. What a difference a few hours made after Hector and his Crew came and cleaned up all our garden beds! Hector provided a clear vision with us and listened to our input as well. He also provided a plan for the months ahead in spring to continue to beautify the grounds. Thank you Martinez Landscaping! Looking forward to spring!

Martinez landscaping really did a wonderful job in cutting the trees and bushes at my house. He is very professional and polite towards his customers. I have had work in the past done by his company. All I can say that he is the best out there. The quality of work and the service he provided is among the highest that I have experienced.

One more thing, he doesn’t overcharge his customers unlike other contracts. He gives a very reasonable price for the top quality that he provides.

Hector Martinez is also a good man and I am sure that you will like him and his service.

Hector and his crew did a phenomenal job on my home. I was honestly shocked when I saw the finished product. I really appreciate the professionalism and patience of hector and his crew. I highly recommend you utilizing their services. I will post before and after pics for the job so you can see for yourself.

Hector and his team did an amazing job on our lawn! We just moved in this house and had trouble with the upkeep. They came gave us ideas on what we should do and made it happen.

This is the second time we have hired Martinez Landscaping for spring cleanup. This year we asked that they lay some topsoil to level out some uneven areas in our yard, and they did a fantastic job. Hector and his crew also dug out the area around our a/c and laid some stone which came out looking great and should ensure the proper performance of the unit. Hector was kind enough to plant extra flowers in our garden than we originally asked for. Lastly, he was able to plant a new tree for us the day of the job to replace one we had planted ourselves a few years ago that sadly died this year. We are very happy with the work this company has done for us and would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a landscaper. They are true professionals who do great work at a fair price!

WOW! Mr. Martinez and his hard working team were just awesome. I was very pleased with his knowledge of my plants and the care his crew provided to remove the weeds but not my plants. I work a lot and maintaining my yard has really been difficult. I have a few herbs, fruit trees and berry bushes and he was very gentle with them. Reasonably priced for the amount of work and an absolute pleasure to talk and joke with! Needless to say, I have a new professional landscaper!!

We hired Hector and his crew to fresh our front yard and backyard, remove our tree, and cut back other trees. The trees they removed and cut back were in precarious locations, very close to powerlines and the guys were extremely careful. Almost all of the work was completed in one day, which was so impressive because it was in really bad shape. The crew also removed some wood planks and concrete that the previous owners had put in to hold their play set, and then they leveled all the dirt to make our yard more flat and usable. Overall Hector communicated with us regularly, completed the work quickly and his team did an amazing job.

I've been using Martinez Landscaping Services for over a year now, and I can honestly say I’m not disappointed—in fact, I’m consistently impressed. Mr. Martinez and his crew are exceptional at what they do. My garden and flower beds have never looked better. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and consistency really stand out.
Hector brings a wealth of knowledge to every visit. He doesn’t just maintain the space—he offers thoughtful suggestions on what will work best, and his recommendations have made a noticeable difference. He and his team are hardworking, courteous, and truly skilled at their craft.
Whether you need help with a tough landscaping project or regular maintenance, I highly recommend Martinez Landscaping. Their maintenance service is top-notch, and their work ethic and professionalism are second to none.

I called up Hector the owner, he came out and gave me a quote the same day. I needed weed removal, grass cutting and trimming, and flower bed clean up. The cost was very reasonable considering some of the other quotes I had received from other companies. The crew arrived about 15 mins before our scheduled time of 8am, so they are punctual. The crew was very friendly and helpful as I am no Martha Stewart when it comes to gardening lol!, and they answered all my questions. (Please note it did rain in the hours of 2am-4am). I would highly recommend their services as I asked for a bunch of his business cards to spread the word. This is my first time using Martinez Landscaping and they have definitely gained a customer in me as I will continue to use them for weekly lawn services beginning in the spring. Definitely give them call they provide other services as well. Big Thanks to Martinez Landscaping.

The guys are always extremely friendly and do amazing work. As a long time customer, they make me feel like a member of their family.

Did an excellent job replacing sections of my sidewalk. Very courteous and clean the job site up well.
