I have called this company about finishing the job they started. I have not had my tree completed by this company despite my calls. It seems I’m in a Mexican standoff with Bill. I’m cancelling my payment as when they came back the company still had not cleaned up the limbs and had not corrected the wound on the side off the tree.
I’m disappointed in the response and follow up of this company.

Very detailed oriented and knowledgeable. They respect the environment and nature and try to preserve and work with what is best for both in conjunction with customers wants. Pricing is very fair.

Back in May 2020.
After that we accepted the quote,they said they would be here no later than October 1st they were very busy. 5 unanswered texts and it will soon be December 1st. Still no response from
Davey tree via email or text. 😞

The lady to set up the appointment was nice. But the consultant came out and never got back to me. I had 4 other companies come out and i had a number within 20 minutes. This dude just ghosted me like a bad date.

They just finished removing a tree that was growing into my property and I couldn't be happier with the job they did: really impressive technical skills involving a huge old tree growing through a fence, around powerlines, and close to a bunch of delicate objects on the ground. They took the tree down piecemeal without damaging anything and got the whole thing done in less than two days in the middle of January. Very impressive!

Horrrible experience. Davey came out to remove a tree in the park behind condo property today and blocked our road with one of two cranes. When I asked the crew climber if he could move the crane truck long enough so that some one in the neighborhood could get to their child custody hearing he snapped and shouted at me telling me that "he had a job to do!" and if I he had to remove the crane he wasn't coming back and it would be my fault. He wasn't even in the lift yet, still on the ground. Very hot headed with a bad attitude. Would have taken him 5 extra minutes to be a nice guy.

Expert knowledge. They put high value on trees and care for them. We feel their advice is solid. Their workmanship is very professional when doing tree removal or pruning. Landscaping work has always been well done. Very responsive and willing to get it right.

Davey did a great job with removing two large dead trees at our home in North Wilmington. Davey has done a fantastic job keeping our large ash tree alive the last 6 plus years when all the ash trees in the area have been dying.

We hired Davey Tree to prune some large trees, remove some small "volunteer" trees, perform some stump grinding, and apply fertilizer and soil nutrients to some trees. The entire process went very smoothly; Eddie was great to work with, he listened well to what I wanted and clearly explained his suggestions to me. The work itself was excellent, we're very happy with the results and we found the price to be very reasonable. We definitely plan to continue using Davey in the future for any additional tree work.

The Davey Tree Company has a very knowledgeable and professional staff that provide their services in a very friendly manner. They have taken my lawn from total weeds and dirt to a lush green oasis. I highly recommend them for any tree and lawn projects you may be considering.

I have been a customer of the Davey Tree Expert Company since they acquired my old tree company Kerns Brothers Tree Service ca. 2016. Davey is a company has done a high-quality work in every single contract. Their prices are higher than most smaller companies in northern Delaware. However, the high quality of the work is well worth it considering in this business low-quality work can result in demise of living organisms. In my experience, I have had one actual case 4-5 years ago where a pruning job on a highly valuable dwarf ornamental cherry tree by a non-descript contractor resulted in two simultaneous separate infections that started killing the tree. In had to be called Davey with expert diagnosis and expert treatment program, and the tree recovered quickly and still thrives to this day. Davey is a highly customer-focused company. Their two estimators that I have dealt with, both with arborist certification, have been promptly responding for requests to come by to look at needs or problems with my trees or shrubbery with immediately submitting treatment proposals. Those proposals have been guaranteed against failure. Mike H. , who is the current representative, always takes all the time needed to explain things in great detail regarding plant ailments and necessary treatments. He has, on more than one occasion, replaced a new implantation that did not thrive as his guarantee to the customer. Davey also has a research lab in the mid-West whose findings are applied to work on the ground here in Delaware. I have been working exclusively with Davey in the last five years for the above reasons despite the higher prices up front, which seem to guarantee success later in all cases.
