I have had Davey Tree for several years. I am very happy with the service. I am very pleased with my new arborist, Drew Van Wyk. He is very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant. It was a pleasure working with him. Hopefully, he will be my rep for a long time to come. Appreciated all of Drew's assistance.

They are the best in the business. Davey leads the industry with stellar I.P.M. plant health care applications. The only company I recommend is Davey Tree.

Jason from Davey has been my go to guy for all my tree work for the past 4 years. Next day pricing and super quick turnaround time for completed work. Amazing quality work as well. Always safe, and clean.

Drew was great helping us choose what to plant where and giving a variety of options, and the team was fast and thorough.

I especially want to highlight Drew’s commitment to getting it right. After the job was finished I noticed the spacing wasn’t QUITE how I wanted it. This was entirely my fault for not being clear! I checked in with Drew about whether I would injure the trees if I moved them, and he just came right back that afternoon and moved them himself.

Don’t be like me! But DO work with Davey!

Mike did a wonderful job pruning our 80 year old Norway Maple. Mike is very skillful, safe, and respectful. He takes great pride in his workmanship, and we felt comfortable with him at our home. My Wife and I will sleep better now that The Davey Tree Expert Company came to the rescue.

When you're a homeowner, a fate I would wish on no one, you deal with a lot of guys -- contractors and such. Some are better than others. Most are...not better. Our Davey guy, Jason Gaskill, arrived on scene after we had a terrible tragedy that rained trees down around our property. Jason and Davey fixed it with dispatch. We live on two acres of (now thinning) forest and needed a partner in our stewardship of the land. Jason and his team have always been on time, on budget and on the level. Davey Tree Company has worked with our property for a few years. Jason from the Wilmington De location was our arborist. He immediately knew what needed to be done to help our trees with trimming and pruning.
In the Fall of 2022 we had Jason visit our property again to talk about our lawn care for the Spring 2023.
Once again his recommendations worked and our yard looks fantastic.
Recently, the crew came again to complete a Spring Cleaning and installed a small pine tree near our patio. We are looking forward to seeing the tree mature to provide shade and privacy for our patio.
We highly recommend using Jason from the Wilmington De office. You won’t be disappointed.

Work by the actual crew was friendly, informative at all times with any questions from me. Extent of work and clean up was amazing. I’ve dealt with Bartlett, Asplundth, and many others. Today, I had the great experience of having Davey Tree of Wilmington Delaware repair two (2) trees on my property. Arborist/Manager Jason and Technician Nick were very professional, understanding, and knowledgeable, and felt our hurt regarding the damage to our trees that we nurtured from day one. The Initial consultation with Angus was impressive He listened and really understood my needs. He understood I had a budget and by suggesting how to prioritize the work was able to get the job done for a price I could afford. The team that did the work, Mike, Liam, and Stone were professional, respectful, and really seemed to take great pride in the job. As a matter of fact Mike went over and above (no pun intended) and took greater care with the pruning work than I would have done. I will be working with Davey, Angus and the crew for all my needs in the future. Look No further, these guys are great!

I called Davey Tree Expert last week to get an estimate for these horrible overgrown bushes that I have had for years. Andrew came out on Friday and my estimate was on my door when I arrived home. The price was great and they came out on Wednesday to complete the job. When I came home from work I could not believe that bushes even existed along the side of my house. There was not even a leaf left on my grass. I would definitely recommend and I will be using them for another project. Ask for Andrew in Wilmington DE, he was very knowledgeable, personable and dependable.

They are cutting down a tree across the street from us today, 7/17/25. These guys are super friendly! One of them is super energized and animated, and appears to absolutely love what he does. This was so refreshing to watch on a super hot/humid day!

Irene arrived as scheduled. She treated our beech tree with phosphates for BLD. She provided information and advice about various treatment options for our beech tree AND for another tree in our yard, but she did NOT try to up-sell us.

Michael and his team have been looking after a beloved, majestic oak in my front yard for several seasons now. Just when we thought maybe the tree was a goner, Michael came up with a nourishment plan and it appears to be working. I am so pleased and grateful he didn't give up on this gorgeous tree. I highly recommend Davey Tree Experts!

Had an insurance job to remove a tree limb that had hit my garage and made a roughly six inch hole in my roof. (See photo) The estimate was absurd and was $900 for this. But I was going to pay the deductible either way on it and I wanted to get things moving and my insurance company recommended them. I came outside twice to greet the guys and no one said hello just ignored me and kept walking. No one knocked on the door when they came or left.

The job took roughly ten to fifteen minutes and they did not cover the hole with a tarp so it rained into my garage for three days. The job took one guy with a small chainsaw and he just pulled most of the limb out by hand but they brought three trucks for some reason. I then watched as they sat in their truck down the street for about three hours until lunch time. Had four large limbs removed from the tree last year and the tree trimmed by a competitor for $500. The price is absurd and although they may be more knowledgeable on the health of trees and things cost is insanely high compared to some local competitors.

On behalf of Brandywine Park Condos, Davey Tree did an excellent job of handling the large project, on budget and on time. So happy that we committed to an annual contract for all landscaping projects.

Their arborist Mark came out. We discussed the trees to be removed. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I trusted him. Trust is extremely important today. He gave me an estimate and I agreed.

Mike and Matthew did the work. Did it professionally.

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about their craftsmanship. From start to finish.

I don't know if they were the cheapest. I didn't get another estimate. The price seemed fair for the work required.Sometimes "cheapest" isn't the best route. I trusted them and that trust was never broken.

I have already recommended Davey Tree Company to a few neighbors and would definitely call them again for my other trees.

Great company to work with. One huge thing I liked was they showed up looking professional. Trucks all letter and all employees were in uniform. Everyone was very friendly and they cleaned up extremely well when the work was completed.

Nick and his crew removed a 90 foot tall pin oak tree that had fallen across our back yard. He took great care cutting it into small sections to remove it through our garden gate. Nick is super talented and careful! It was impressive to watch his crew work as a team. Clean up was perfect.Thank you to all!
