We had an electrical emergency at our house and Dave had just gotten home after a long day, but came right and stayed until the problem was diagnosed and repaired. Returned the next day to replace a circuit breaker. Reasonable rates.

Dave is extremely nice and a great electrician! He came within an hour and found the problem and fixed it very fast. We will absolutely use him in future and highly recommend him for residential electrical work.

Dave was great to work with. I had damage done by a storm the night before Christmas Eve. He was responsive to calls and text messages throughout the holiday weekend. He came out and made the repairs quickly, and did a great job!

Had a sort of emergency (still had heat, but lost power to tv and internet) and Dave came out right away and took care of it. He's also a really cool guy and fun to talk to, but most importantly he does good work at a reasonable price. Would definitely use him again!

I needed emergency service and left messages with about a dozen electricians. Geoff was the only one to call back, and he called back promptly. He and his son arrived on time the following morning. They fixed the wiring and and breaker issue and got my well pump running again. Friendly guys, honest and communicative. 100% recommend.

I called Ideal Electric on a Monday because I had a major issue with the outside electric box giving me power to my home was bad, (CMP was going to shut my power off if I did not get it fixed in one week) Ideal Electric was out to my house that afternoon and had the problem fixed two days later. Rick went above and beyond to help me out and I cant thank him enough. This company is outstanding and professional from the office to the site workers.

Once I got all my information of what I needed done to Rick , the guys arrived when they said they would and got the job done quicker than expected with no issues . Wesley and Trace did great work and were very courteous and professional both around our workers and our customers . Will 10 out of 10 recommend

It never went to far. Someone from Ideal came down. Took my info and what kind of electrical work I needed. 5 days later I had to call back to get my estimate sent to me. I was happy with the price so I responded but unfortunately no response back. I called their office and asked if they were an insured company. I just moved to the area. Then my call was transferred to the owner to ask for proof of insurance before the work was performed. The owner gave me an attitude and was hostile towards me. He said he would send a copy of their insurance Certificate and never sent it. I guess the job was too small for myself to get any respect from Ideal. That's okay I went with someone else. If your smart you will avoid them all together

I used this company for some electrical work when I first moved to Maine. I was billed $800.00 for three outlets being added in a bedroom and one in my kitchen for a microwave. I spoke with the owner and l was told that l did not ask the amount of the service. My opinion .. it was an example of taking advantage of a female customer. I would not recommend this company.
