They suggested a few smart home features I hadn’t even considered, and now I can’t imagine living without them. The whole process was smooth, and their expertise made all the difference.

HEDSouth was great about making sure our system was set up exactly how we wanted. They took the time to fine-tune everything, made adjustments based on our feedback, and walked us through how it all worked. Their attention to detail and willingness to get things right made a big difference. Overall, a very positive experience.

Chad, the AV tech hiring manager, is the most rude person I've encountered. He wrote me a nasty email for being late to something HE FORCED ME TO RESCHEDULE. I will never spend my hard earned money with this establishment as long as Chad is employed here.

I’ve worked with this company multiple times in my home. While they do complete the work, and its very high quality, the long-term reliability of what they install is deeply concerning. Nearly everything they’ve worked on eventually breaks — and the cost to repair is exorbitant.

To make matters worse, their systems seem proprietary or overly complex, meaning no one else can service them. You’re left with no choice but to go back to them and pay a small fortune.

A recent example: a shade in my child’s room — which they installed — stopped working. The total cost just to fix it? $1,743.96. For a single shade.

This has been a frustrating and costly experience. I would strongly advise others to consider the long-term implications before hiring them.

I couldn’t be happier with the work HEDSouth did in our home! The Lutron lighting has completely transformed our space—it’s amazing how much the right lighting can enhance the atmosphere. And having Sonos throughout the house has been such a joy, I love being able to play my favorite music in any room with just a tap. Their team was professional, friendly, and made the entire process so easy. They took the time to explain everything to me, and I never felt overwhelmed. Updated review. I cannot express how impressed I am with HEDsouth! I had some hiccups and immediately received a call from Jake the COO. Jake made sure everything was taken care of timely and properly. The communication along the way was spot-on informing me of every step in the process. The onsite tech, Marvin was also great. To really emphasize, there is customer service and the HEDsouth team went above and beyond and exceeded every expectation!! They should teach customer service to other companies!

Just had Solar panels installed by Elysium Solar. Twenty one solar panels installed, and they did everything. Kayla took care of all the details, including permits and working with the electric company. I would recommend them, especially because they are a local company.

Went through a lot of solar companies and decided on Elysium Solar Energy. From the very first encounter, to the final install, they were extremely professional and knowledgeable, as well as super flexible and friendly. A highly impressive enterprise. Should we need more solar in the future, they are the number 1 on the list.

I contacted Elysium with a question/problem about my 11-year old solar array despite them not installing it. They responded right away, had a service technician there in a few days, and charged a very reasonable rate. The service tech was friendly, helpful, and most importantly, very knowledgeable. I will definitely call on them again if/when another problem arises!

I purchased 32 panels in 2019 and last week (June 2023) I added 8 more panels. I love Zac and Kayla, they are amazing. The handle all of the details from start to finish, from permits to sign off by the electric company. The process is seamless. I have done much research before I invested in Solar and these guys make it look easy and they had the best price. I always visit them when at the Pittsburgh Home in Garden show each year. If you are interested in solar make sure you talk to Zac and Kayla.

I continue to love my system, so I added 8 panels to my existing 32 panel system. I have a ground mount system, so the 8 additional panels were simply attached to the existing array.

Recently, I was getting an error message from my enphase system.
The is the system that allows me to see production versus usage online. Zac came to the house, free of charge, and was able to resolve quickly. These guys are so responsive and focused on the ongoing relationship and not just the initial sale of panels. Every interaction with Zac and Kayla reassures me that I make the right decision to select to them f for this project.

I was one of the first people in our area to install solar panels 11 years ago. I needed to replace my roof and as a result needed somebody to remove the panels and then put them back up once the roof was finished. A neighbor highly recommended Elysium Solar and I am really glad he did. I could have used somebody from Ohio that the original manufacturer suggested, but i wanted to go local. I also needed someone to coordinate a tight schedule of removing the panels right before the roofing job and then reinstalling them right after. Elysium did exactly what they said they would do exactly when they said they would do it. I couldn't be more satisfied with their workmanship and dependability. In addition they suggested that now was the time to upgrade my micro converters and directed me through the entire process with the manufacturer. The result was an increased power production at a very reasonable cost. If anyone is interested in exploring the exciting potential of solar energy or simply needs service on existing units, I could not recommend anybody more enthusiastically than Elysium Solar.
