A+ is my go to for all of my clients but I recently had an urgent matter of my own over a holiday weekend and they had somebody to my house within 30 minutes and had the issue resolved in less than an hour! Excellent service, great value!

Booked appointment a few days out. Technician arrived on time. Work was completed in half the time I expected at also about 1/2 the cost. I appreciate the clear explanation of charges in advance of the visit. Overall a very good experience.

I had a tree branch fall down on the powerline behind my house, and it ripped the mast off the house and onto the ground.

Consumers said they would fix the line but I'd have to call a licensed electrician to put the mast back up before they could turn the power back on, so I called A+ electric.

I was told that they could come out within an hour and get it taken care of, but that their emergency rate was $150/hr.

I said that was fine, because I didn't have much choice and I was obviously hoping that it wouldn't take too long because of the cost.

The guy showed up at about 12:30 to assess the damage, and called his apprentice to bring him a ladder and some parts.

His apprentice showed up and they had the whole job done just after 1:30, so obviously I was thrilled because I figured I'd saved a good deal of money.

Somehow the bill ended up being $550 for a little over an hour of work and maybe $20 in parts.

I said "man, you were only here for about an hour" and he said "yeah, you had to pay for me, you had to pay for him, and you had to pay for parts".

I was out there the whole time, and all the kid did was basically hand him tools and hold a few things for him while he did the job.

So, I ended up paying $150/hr for EACH of them which must've included drive time and who knows what else, plus what I can only assume was at least 1000% markup on parts.

The actual job probably only took about 45 minutes, and I know they had to drive out there and pick up parts but they called ahead for those so all they had to do was pick them up.

"All" of the parts that they needed easily fit in a plastic Meijers or Walmart type plastic bag, and consisted of a few thin metal rings, a small plastic collar, a can of glue and a few screws.

Now I have to say that they were very fast, very professional, very nice, and they did a pretty good job but for what seemed like a $200-$300 job max to end up being almost $600, I think that's pretty ridiculous.

If I needed somebody to do a job right, I'd definitely hire them again because they're very good at what they do, but just be prepared to pay out the a**.

A-Plus electric was great but expensive. There employees that came to my he to work were really knowledgeable, professional and courteous. This is really important to me! I would recommend them to do your next electrical upgrade or anything you need.

Great experience! The electrician, Nick, inspected project, gave me a estimate, and completed the work in a timely & efficient manor. Superior job! I would for sure call A Plus Electric for my future needs. I recommend them!!

This company has been hands down one of the best companies my husband and I have had the pleasure of working with through our HUGE remodel. Even when we had to change our plans last minute they were more then accommodating/ understanding! I would highly recommend them to any one looking for knowledgeable electrical professionals! They had shady work from the beginning. The xformers for the counter lighting fill up an entire shelving unit of cabinets instead of them wiring them on top of the cabinets.
Two outlets do not even work and after nearly 2 full years of calls and literally no return calls ~ after their technician even admitted they were responsible ~ I wouldn’t recommend this company change the batteries out of a child’s toy. Absolutely horrible. And the owner was the worst to deal with.

First, electrician did not wear mask and later, while doing the work asked if I thought COVID was an emergency and went on about how it was making his life difficult!

Second, he said he couldn't install switch for bathroom exhaust fan next to light switch - no reason provided. He then installed switch right next to shower even though installation directions for fan explictly say "Do not install next to shower!".

Third, they charge the same price for electrician and "apprentice", so either they overvalue their apprentices or undervalue their electricians. Also payment is demanded on site before they leave. In this case the job wasn't finished due to "bad fan", but I have strong suspicions that he just didn't know how to install it properly based on comments he made during the visit.

I have been unable to resolve with their office despite more than one call. Strongly do not recommend this company!

Jeremy was out immediately after I called. Very knowledgeable and professional. Ensured the fix was done the right way and even spent some time on additional issues I didn't call on. I have some larger projects coming up and plan on going with A Plus for them.

There are so many electric businesses/companies that do not want a small residential job so I was delighted when calling A Plus Electric Inc to learn they would be happy to help me out. And help me out they did. My what I thought would be a "little" task turned out to be not so little.

The Customer Service I received on the phone when placing my call was outstanding. An appointment was scheduled just 5 business days after my initial contact. Jon Stierle was the technician that came to my home, right on schedule time-wise.

Jon ended up having to visit 3 different times before my "little" issue was resolved. However, it did get resolved. On the 2nd visit, even Carl, the owner, stopped by. Both gentlemen were very accommodating.

Jon Stierle was so very patient with my lack of understanding of electrical issues. I felt he was not only patient but very above board/honest with what needed to be done to repair my issue. I would have no hesitation recommending A Plus Electric Inc and Jon Stierle. THANK YOU!

A Plus Electric helped us gain a permit for an electrical inspection to gain power for a renovation project that had the power disconnected. Their staff was friendly, informative, and acted in a timely manner. Carl came out to the property to get a first hand look of the property's electrical condition and walked me through what to expect from the city inspector, he was very friendly and informative. A Plus Electric provided us with exactly what we needed. I would definitely recommend this company and their services to anyone seeking professional electricians.

We had a scary incident late last night where our lights and outlets quit working in 2 rooms. Called A Plus this morning and being a Saturday we knew it was gonna be more money but the safety of our family is priceless, when the guy came in the door my Daughter in Law was using a blow dryer in another bathroom and the outlet sparked and fried. A Plus guy found the problem quickly and fixed it. Very nice guy I wish I got his name. I feel so much better knowing the problem was found and corrected. Thank you and we will definitely recommend A Plus!

A+ Electric were awesome providing electricity to a new shed. Ryan was very friendly and knowledgeable, along with Cody and Gabe who dug out the trench and assisted Ryan all day. I can't say enough about this whole experience. Even Dee, who was the receptionist, was so upbeat and helpful. I will always use this business for all my electrical needs!

I had an emergency outage from a line down with a damaged meter and A Plus was quick to respond. The girls in the office are so friendly and helpful. Brandon did the consultation and had good knowledge and guidance for what I needed. He also did the work and was friendly, professional and did a fantastic job. I definitely know who I'll be calling if I need any more work done.

After a storm knocked the mast off my home , I called 7 electricians two being emergency services. Unfortunately all seven calls went to voicemail I left detailed messages and no response. I called APlus not only did a actual person answer the phone , she was incredibly kind and explained the billing, the process and time frame , which was quite literally a half hour. The electricians that put my mast back up were professional, very friendly and quick. I literally cannot say enough good things about this company and the wonderful employees. The end price was very affordable. Stop reading reviews and call them now. You will be glad you did. Again thank you APlus you saved us from another powerless day in this heat!!!!

The service technician was really friendly. He got the job done within an hour! Awesome and great. It’s 95 an hour plus materials to replace parts. Here is where the confusion starts. They did not inform me on first call that they charge at the time of dispatch. The contract is confusing. It says “billing begins from the time of dispatch” below emergency services. Which leads normal people to believe that they only charge at the time of dispatch during emergency situations. Overall good service but make sure to read the contract because my repair would have been 100 bucks, but it’ll be around 170 due to that drive time.

These folks have done some good work for use. Thou our project had to be postponed, they treated me kindly and were very helpful. We will be calling soon for electrical work on the garage.

I would highly recommend using any other company for any electrical service work.

They have had a medium sized job since June - it is now October and the job is still not done. They have constantly ignored my requests for information - ignored all of the work I had put into the planning and I feel like they are just constantly misrepresenting the truth.

They have twice not secured the job site - requiring myself to drive 8 hours round trip to cover their mistakes.

The owner takes days or weeks to return phone calls. Be very very cautious using them… this has been a nightmare to deal with. Their original estimate was $8,000 and at the current time they have run that bill up to $12,000

Avoid at all costs or it will cost you

Do NOT use this company. Literally go anywhere else. Google your problem yourself, it’ll probably get done better. They replaced my electric box with a larger box and instead of measuring the new size, just free-cut and cut too large of a hole and just left it with an open piece of wall at the bottom. On top of that, they left the old cover in my house right under it.

ON TOP OF THAT….they had to install a grounding wire and since they did one job while I was home, they had to do this and I wasn’t able to be home. When I got home, to my surprise I see the copper grounding wire WRAPPED AROUND MY DOOR and the screws crooked and screwed into my door frame!! I have small kids who play outside and right outside the door they play in is a copper wire! They did come out to fix it after I called and complained, however I never should have had to do that.

So here I am, $3700 later and still really mad about it. They didn’t offer to refund anything, just came to fix the horrible situation they left. I could not believe this and will forever regret hiring this company.
