Such an easy, efficient, honest team to work with! We had one fenced side of the backyard replaced due to a crazy windstorm, and they were in and out in 1 day - no one even needed to be home. Such a seamless process with a great result. THE Gary even came out for the project - that really shows how dedicated he is to his work. I’ll definitely be calling on them for future reliable fence work.

I’ve worked with Gary multiple times with great experiences. Gary and his team’s work is wonderful and Kim is such a joy in setting everything up. They’ve built a gorgeous iron gate with clean lines and were also able to repair a mid-century fence by installing new posts. I really appreciated their efforts to salvage the original one, rather than telling me I’d need a whole new one built. Would gladly work with them again anytime.

This contractor was hired by my neighbor to do some fencing repairs. I found out by my property cameras alerting me of entry. We have dogs and they typically have free roam of inside and outside via dog door. Contractor showed up this morning rang my ring doorbell I was at work and not able to answer a few minutes later (about 30) I notice someone taking materials into my back yard. Of which they had to enter through a shut and locked gate. They did not have permission to enter and preformed work on my property. When I ensured and call this company I spoke to a Kim who identified as ownership. I explained that we had a problem as her employee did not have permission to enter my property nor was I notified of any work needing to be completed. Kim informed me this was not her problem and call someone else. When I got home to speak to the contractor he informed me that he entered legally due to a said easement (I asked for proof he said it was common knowledge) when looking up the easement laws it’s for PUC contractors only. This company isn’t even accredited with BBB and does not have an active business license with Secretary of State. I asked Steve to exit my property until I could sort this out. I explained I did not appreciate him coming onto private locked property without permission. He said he didn't care. After speaking with Kim a second time and explaining my concerns calmly she basically told me to kick rocks. As I type this their employee Steve is on his phone walking/ pacing back and forth from his truck to my gate. His truck is parked in front of my neighbors house to the left of me. There is no reason for him to even be I front of my house except to exasperate the issue and and purposefully make actions to cause anxiety and stress on my end. I would never recommend a company that does business with this practice. He could have left a note and a number to call and I could have known and given permission to come back. I hope people read this and choose wisely.

Working with Gary and Kim was a great experience. They ensured that the work was done to my satisfaction. My fence looks amazing. Gary is a problem solver and is able to handle any of the unexpected issues that sometimes arise with repair/replacements of fencing. The crew was hard working, friendly and took great care to tidy up each evening before they left. I have already referred Gary to friends and family; I am a very happy and grateful customer.

My experience with Gary’s fence company was amazing- from the first meeting when Steve came up with a great plan for our special project, (including fence repair, installation of a new chain link fence, and a custom built goat house)- to interaction with Kim answering scheduling questions and executing the contract- to Gary himself (along with his great crew, Steve, Omar, and Brandon) making sure our project was done perfectly! They showed so much care for us, making sure our goats didn’t get out of the fence while it was being torn down and replaced, and the quality of workmanship far exceeded anything I had in mind. Our goats live in a bougie palace now and will be completely safe because of our new fence. Thanks again guys! It was such a pleasure meeting you all!

Gary's 5-Star Fence is truly providing 5-Star service. They did a great job to repair my fence which was damaged by the recent tornado in Highlands Ranch. They went above and beyond to replace part of the fence without extra charges even though the original estimate was just to install new posts. They are prompt, easy to work with, and affordable. I definitely will hire them again!

Gary's Fence did a excellent job of completing a project at our rental home. Work was done efficiently.
Unfortunately, difficulty between neighbors became an obtacles which created a problem for Gary's. The problem was professionally resolved and all neighbors are satisfied . I will use Gary's in the future as needed.

Kim and Gary were quick, fair priced and did an outstanding job. They were friendly and professional. The craftsmanship that went into the fence is amazing. My tree presented an issue and Gary had an excellent solution. I would definitely hire Kim and Gary. You will not be disappointed! I'm so happy with the entire job!!

Gary and the entire team were fantastic to work with! They were recommended to me by a friend after they did work at his home, and they did not disappoint! After initially being told that our fence would be installed in six weeks, they were able to squeeze us in early due to some cancellations. Gary and the team installed vinyl and wooden fencing, and we could not be happier with the result! Kim was extremely helpful, making scheduling and billing a breeze! Highly recommended!

I am absolutely in love with my new fence! It looks amazing and the workers were very diligent about making sure it was straight. Gary's is definitely worth the wait they have. The workmanship is top tier. Would recommend to anyone and the pricing was fair. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

Just had our privacy fence replaced after the strong winds that came through in early April did damage to the prior cedar wood fence posts. My neighbor had similar damage to his north side as well as our shared section and our south side. Long story short; Gary’s Five Star Fence was recommended to Kevin and after his due diligence we were comfortable with that recommendation as well. Gary came out and looked at the fence and after a thorough review we realized we were likely going to deal with the same issue again if we only repaired the broken posts as the others were weakening as they are wanting to do.
We opted for a total fence replacement and rather than putting up 4”x4” posts again, Gary recommended steel posts that are then encased in wood. The posts are guaranteed for life-a great option as we have had to replace sections before.
Gary’s Five Star Fence is a family run business and they were fantastic! Taking the extra care necessary because of flower beds, sewer lines close to the fence line in this East Wash Park neighborhood, and just doing what ever it took to give us a great product. We highly recommend Gary’s Five Star Fence!!!

Beyond impressed with the work and speed of the custom fencing construction provided! No other fencing company was able to get me in a timely manner. They went above and beyond, perfectly matching the fence to my neighbors. This was a priority due to my HOA harassing me to get a fence up!

Within a few days of coordination and a single day of installation, bam! A fence.

I couldn't say enough positive things about Gary and his crew. Everyone was very nice, and the project was completed exactly as asked for and on budget. Literally, the only thing you want when you call someone for a fence project.

My ramshackle gate needed replacing. It was splintering and falling off the hinges. Gary and his crew came out today and removed/replaced it in just a few hours. The guys were professional and very courteous. They took the time to answer questions about other issues on my property. I am planning to call Gary's 5-Star Fence again in the near future for additional jobs. Very pleased. (See before and after photos.)

If all you want is a fence, then yes—this company can put one up.

But if you value communication, timelines, follow-through, or attention to detail, this is absolutely not the company for you.

Communication was nearly nonexistent. Getting updates or responses felt like pulling teeth, and the project dragged on far longer than it ever should have. When the fence was finally installed, the details were sloppy and unfinished—old posts not fully removed, visible gaps under the fence, and a general lack of care that shows they just wanted the job done, not done right.

This is not a “high standards” issue—this is basic workmanship and customer service. If you expect a fence installed properly, promptly, and with the small but important details handled, look elsewhere.

I do not recommend this company.

Having worked with Gary's Five Star Fence multiple times now, we appreciate the continued support and quality service we've received! Gary and his crew are knowledgeable, professional, and truly solution seekers. Most recently, they repaired and replaced a sagging gate and a damaged portion of our 25 year old vinyl fence after our neighbor's cottonwood tree fell and demolished it in a wind storm. Not an easy job, but they accepted the challenge, completed the work efficiently, and delivered high quality results, all at a fair price. We appreciate Kim's proactive communication and timely responses throughout the process. Truly, a top-notch company . . . we will never use anyone else!
