He did warranty work on the plumbing under my kitchen sink and the second bathroom. He came in and repaired both of them quickly. He was easy to talk to very knowledgeable about plumbing. I give him 10 stars if I could, but unfortunately, we only give them five so we’re gonna give them a 5+10

Yes i had service/maint on my a/c heat pump unit and the items that were brought to my attention that needed some repair were l listed out in the order of importance needding repair. The negotiated price I was offered I thought was very fair. In the past cool today has always been on time and stood behind their workI I would defiantly recommend my technician, William Ramos. He was very professional and thorough at the job I requested to be done.

On Sunday, September 7, our first-floor ceiling began to drip water. When I pressed on it, a large section collapsed with a gush of water. Initially, I thought it was a pipe, but upon inspection, I noticed the issue was coming from the area of refrigerant lines. Upstairs, we found the air handler dripping steadily, and the floor was already saturated.

I immediately called CoolToday, and within a few hours, technician Victor arrived. He was professional, empathetic, and thorough. After inspecting the unit, he explained that the condensation line had been installed at the wrong angle, which prevented the safety switch from shutting off the system in the event of a clog. This improper installation caused the water overflow and subsequent property damage. Victor confirmed he had spoken with his supervisor and that CoolToday would take responsibility for the property damage. However, he also told me that if I wanted them to clear the clogged line, I would have to pay for that service. This was confusing. If the company was admitting fault for the installation issue that caused the damage, why wouldn’t they handle the line clearing as a courtesy?

Since I have a Shop-Vac, I declined the service and told Victor I’d clear the lines myself, and let CoolToday handle the property damage. I paid the callout fee, I think like $80, and Victor assured me that a manager (likely Manny, the service manager) would follow up about the ceiling repair.

On Monday, I proactively called CoolToday. I spoke with Ali, who was extremely helpful, created a ticket, and escalated the issue. I was told a supervisor would contact me within 24–48 hours.

I didn’t get a call until Tuesday, which wasn’t really a problem. It was Manny, the service manager. He introduced himself, apologized that it took so long to get in touch, and said that since this happened over the weekend, it took them a bit to get everything in order. He then told me he was looking at pictures of the air handler from June 2024, and from those pictures, the condensation line was in front of the filter door and looked to be installed correctly.

I politely and reasonably told him that he probably couldn’t tell the angle of the condensation line from the picture because of the angle it was taken. Manny pushed back and said again that it was installed correctly, and tried to justify it by saying that since it’s in front of the filter door, it must get moved every time we change the filter, so from their point of view, it had to be the homeowner’s fault.

That’s when I knew for sure the picture didn’t tell the full story, because we don’t have a hinged filter door that opens upward. Ours is magnetic and has almost an inch of clearance from the condensation line, so no contact is ever made with that line when changing filters. When I explained that we haven’t touched that line since it was installed, Manny smugly shot back with, “So you’ve never changed the filters?” like it was some kind of gotcha moment.

This was extremely frustrating because Victor had already clearly identified the improper installation and told me CoolToday would take responsibility. Instead, within two days, the company reversed its stance and attempted to blame me for the ceiling damage. The shift from professionalism and accountability (Victor and Ali) to dismissiveness and blame (Manny) was unacceptable, and I felt wholly disrespected.

As of Wednesday, September 10th, four days after the incident, no serious supervisor has contacted me about fixing the damage CoolToday originally admitted fault for.

Victor (technician): 5 stars – professional, honest, empathetic.

Ali (phone support): 5 stars – helpful, communicative.

CoolToday as a company: 1 star – for refusing to take accountability, reversing their position, and disrespecting a customer.

Since posting this review I’ve noticed, reviewers from over 6+ months some over a year have edited their reviews to seemingly bury bad reviews!

I do not recommend this company.

I love service that comes on-time and takes care the problem promptly and efficient. Cool 😎 today is a great company that understands customer service. I appreciate how quickly they took my call and scheduled my service even on a Sunday and same day. I highly recommend this company for all the services they offer.

Mr. Cowen is the most knowledgeable plumber I have met. He went through everything with me and listened to me. I had 2 other companies here days proior and they didn't listen and wanted disaster. Service was professional and comfortable. Thank you Mr. Cowen. 100% satisfaction because of him.

Very pleased with the guys who came out and this 5 star review is to be credited to them rather than the company. Their website said they relined pipes and the reason I called them - to get an estimate for a pipe relining. However, when the guys arrived, they advised Cool Today doesn't reline pipes in this specific area.

Devin R. did a great job. Very knowledgeable and explained everything during each phase of my semi-annual A/C service. He went above and beyond by checking my ductwork due to a concern about one room not feeling as cool as the rest of the home. He did find a a small opening in the manifold in the attic and offered to repair at additional cost, however this is a repair I am comfortable to complete myself. It is good to have this information. Cool Today is lucky to have Devin R. And should consider him for a leadership role within the company when the opportunity presents itself. Well done young man. Keep up the great work. If I could request him for every service I would indeed.

Have used the Cool Today's plumbing services three times. Each plumber was excellent. Most recently had a plumber connect an espresso machine to supply line as well as the drain. Also plumbed in a pressure regulator valve, back flow check valve and inline Calcite filter. Anthony did a great job...he problem solved very well. Highly recommend! Price seemed high on this most recent project vs. the previous two projects they did.

My whole experience with cool today has been an A+. It was helpful getting routine text messages when the technician was coming, and they even sent a picture of the technician so you know who to expect when they arrive. Kirk was so professional, friendly, informative, and very respectful of the house. He wore shoe covers and cleaned up after himself. He explained the issues clearly and provided a link with detailed information on the estimates to replace certain components. I would recommend Cool Today because of their professional staff and trust. Kirk is very skilled in HVAC repair and a very humble man.

Jefferey at Cool Today was amazing, timely, efficient, knowledgeable, thorough and professional. The company structure does not jack up the price on the weekend. The pricing was vert fair. Each person from the initial call to service provided excellent customer service and it was evident that was their goal. Options for service were presented up front. I will be using them from here forth and referring to friends.

We had our 1 of the yearly maintenance and Mohsine Warid was so good efficient great communication and very knowledgeable. I appreciated his willingness and patience on making sure we was happy cause we had a few things that we was doing wrong and he help us understand and fix for us. (We was putting our filter in the wrong place)

I am very happy with the service I received from every person at Cool Today. From the repair person who inspected my nearly 20 year old syatem, to the salesperson, AJ, who explained all of my choices to me so clearly, and offered me the opportunity to ask questions, so that I was sure that I was getting the best system for my neeeds, to the schedulers and the installers, who were all professional and kind and took the time to make sure that I understood how to work the new system, which was much more complicated than my last thermostat.

I also got a reverse osmosis water treatment system, and once again, everyone was such a professional. I will definitely refer other people to Cool Today.

Had the best experience with this company I found them via home depot. My technician was Victor M. A very knowledgeable guy, great customer services skills, respectful all around 5 stars.
He came the first day for a free consultation and went above and beyond. I was embarrassed because for something free, he did way too much. He provided many recommendations options but he did not pressure me on my decision and respected my choice based on what I could afford. The crazy part is, he was able to get the material for me very quick and return like the next day with Abdiel and they both blessed my family with AC and heat after being out for days and living miserably. These guys know their stuff, Victor felt truly bad for me for the amount of money i’ve spent on this 4 year old AC and found the problem himself. He showed me every steps, showed me where the problem was and how he was going to replace and fix it. We are truly grateful and I’m only dealing with them from now on! May God keep blessing the people who don’t take advantage of others like these guys.

Devin R was my technician for my HVAC Preventative Maintenance check. He was very thorough, professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. To add, he also put up with my unnecessary chatter which is also appreciated, lol! Its nice to know that I have been keeping my system up well after 8 years and it was a nice touch that he used shoe covers when walking around the house. Overall, this was a great experience and would welcome Cool Today to do additional maintenance.

We have a maintenance plan with Cool Today and they have done an amazing job maintaining both our a/c units. We recently had issue with one of our units and they quickly came out diagnosed problem and had a fix at a reasonable price. Both technicians were very professional and knowledgeable.
