A hidden gem of Jacksonville Beach. We had Melissa- one of the designers do a layout for us for our front yard and she was invaluable with suggestions and hands on experience with the plants that she suggested. Initially planned on planting everything myself but they offer installation services at a very fair price and even include fertilizer and soil amendments. Always getting compliments on our new yard... Thanks!

I love shopping at Rockaway because of the expertise they provide. We've saved so much frustration, money, time and get beautiful results by coming in and speaking with one of their experts who take the time to listen to what we are trying to do, what we like and make recommendations. Today we were ready to buy a bunch of plants --when Jodi gave us the advice to ammend our soil first so our plants would grow. She told us what we needed and how to do it. In all the years we've been buying plants for this particular garden, not one plant shop has ever recommended we do that first. I know this will save us hundreds of dollars (if not more) because our plants will do better and we won't have to keep replacing them as in the past. She also gave us recommendations so we won't end up with a look-a-like garden which I also love (and Rockaway has the plants to support that too). This is especially important to me as despite my telling other plant shops around town this when looking for plants, I usually get the same old recommendations I see all over town. We had similar GREAT advice by another employee at Rockaway in the fall for a container garden we were planting. She totally nailed it too. We'll be back to buy the plants after ammending our soil. Great communication during the proposal phase, leading up to mobilization, and post installation. Work was well done, neat, orderly, and cleaned up at the end of the work. Would recommend 10 out of 10.

He is customer service focused and easily communicates with anyone approaching him with questions or concerns.

Went in today needing a LOT of help and was greeted by the most helpful and cheerful young lady. I did not get her name! 😫 But I left with the most glorious large blue and white ceramic pot and lots of pretty blooms. These florals make such a big difference to the beauty and vibe of our outdoor space. I will definitely be back very soon to scoop up a few more of the gorgeous colorful pots and those lovely planters that have already been created with a perfect combination of plants and flowers. We shopped 4/20 - Earth day with Rockaway and had so much fun! Plenty of staff on hand to help with questions, hunting for Easter eggs and drinking sangria while shopping made buying plants so enjoyable! Thank you for the great service!

We are absolutely THRILLED with Rockaway Landscaping! So much so that we keep adding new projects to their list to continue our property improvements. Every employee has been kind, professional, prompt and knowledgeable! We hired this awesome company to re-landscape our entire yard....then we added lighting to the job (SO happy we did)...then we decided it was time for a new pavered patio! We’ve used Rockaway three or four times now, and I can’t say enough great things. Our jobs have ranged from small to big. The designers listen to your landscaping wants and needs, and create a beautiful scene. The installation team is precise, fast and clean. We have hired a lot of contractors in the past five years, and Rockaway is comprised of true professionals.

Great work and follow up. All the crews that have been out are always professional and courteous. I would highly recommend them for any type of landscaping services. 100% satisfied with their work.

We have used Rockaway several times and are very happy with the designs, staff and final product. Our backyard and front yard are beautiful thanks to them!! They truly stand behind their product and we will continue to use them in the future for any of our landscaping needs.

I was extremely happy with Rockaway. We were selling our home and wanted to see about getting some landscaping to create more privacy and make our house more appealing. I called them for an estimate and David Holloway came right out and provided a full, professional landscaping plan and estimate for a very reasonable rate that could not possibly have covered his time. As we were intent on moving, we only wanted to address one portion of our yard, so asked David if we could just implement part of the plan. He said, "Of course!" and requited us for just the part we wanted, again at a terrific price. He then scheduled and installed it quickly, with no issues. To top it off, he sent out an irrigation specialist to help with the install. While doing his work, the specialist pointed out several issues with the system (that I knew existed and wanted to take care of). He gave me a great price on the spot to repair everything and fixed it all. I'd recommend Rockaway to anyone. Great service, for prices and a company you can trust.

April 2023 Update: Rockaway just helped us refresh our landscaping after our harsher than usual winter season and we are LOVING the new landscape and design. Zach did a great job getting to know us and picking all the new plants out for us and we are really going to enjoy watching it grow up this spring and summer season. I have a big smile on my face now every time I leave and come back home. It is SO worth it to work with a professional landscape designer and Rockaway has the best team in town! We could not be more pleased about the landscape job Rockaway’s team just completed for us! We had two big beds in front of our condo completely refreshed and they look beautiful! Their team did a wonderful job consulting with us on the design and coordinating the plants and installation. And their crew was so friendly and professional and even worked through the pouring rain to help get the job completed for us. And their follow up the next day to ensure all the irrigation checked out and was set properly gave me such peace of mind that our new plants would be covered rain or shine. We have found it necessary to stop using Rockaway as they failed to maintain our lawn. After 3 months with another service provider, leaving Rockaway was the best decision and one we should have done sooner!

My husband and I have used Rockaway for several years. When we moved to our new home, we kept Rockaway for our lawn service. I cannot imagine using anyone else. Brian and Greg, owners, are available and hands on.

We had recently undergone an extensive project to address our irrigation. Rockaway’s irrigation guru Dar spent 2 days at our home fixing broken heads, correcting heads, adding new heads.

Dar arrived on time and was very professional. He took time to give me an overview of his approach then got straight to work. With each zone, he demonstrated the changes.

Not only did Dar give us much better irrigation for our lawn and new landscaping but he also took time to sweep up yard debris that had been left in front of our home by the waste pickup company used by our county. This, folks, is going above and beyond!

Rockaway did an excellent job landscaping our property in Jacksonville Beach. We had some plants that they were able to work into their design to make our property feel like a true resort property. The lighting is amazing. The design work with Rosalinde was very professional. She arrived with real photos to give us an idea of what to expect when the project was complete. Dan the project manager kept us informed during the project to let us know what to expect while things were happening and what to expect over the next several weeks with watering the new sod, trees and plants. Everyone was, so nice, very helpful and informative. They showed us how to work the lights and irrigation systems. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with the way everything turned out.

Working with Rockaway has been great. Before, during and after the project. They're responsive and organized. Were fairly priced. And, Dar, has been awesome tying up any loose ends after the initial project finished.

I'm a Landscape Architect. I had Rockaway tear out an old, dated, over-grown landscape and replace/update the irrigation system. Brett and his team did a fantastic job pulling out the plants and cleaning up the yard, and Dar was great in designing and installing a new, working irrigation system.
