Rockaway maintains our HOA landscaping and irrigation and does an excellent job. I grew up around the landscaping business so I don’t impress easily. They keep everything looking good and our turf grass lush and green. They have an organized system for back-and-forth communication so we are always on the same page. Our representative Chris Clark is especially knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. He provides easy to read, regular reports with pictures and explanations of every issue. We changed vendors every 2 or so years before we hired these guys. They are as good as you’ll find. -Scott

We have Rockaway for our entire 42-unit condo complex landscaping, lawn spraying and irrigation and they do an outstanding job! It's not just about mowing and blowing!!! Just like any long-term vendor, it's not always perfect, but we communicate with them and they always fix any issues. They have been super responsive on short notice when we've had to change their schedule, when we needed irrigation flagged for construction, and whenever we've needed just about anything. They've done some special landscaping projects for us - they advised us well on what to install and those areas are now beautiful. They have a superb office manager who listens and adjusts to any changes/requests and they respond quickly to emails. We love Rockaway!!!

We scheduled an inspection with Rockaway of our irrigation. Dar came out and showed us all the issues and made suggestions on how to fix it for best results. He even fixed an immediate issue due to a tree root. We are looking forward to the improvements and ultimately the results. We have tried several other irrigation “experts” and never had anyone make suggestions for improvements. Thank you Dar!!

I am a new Rockaway client. I recently purchased a home with an irrigation system. I became aware of a break in the line and needed help. I have never had an irrigation system before. Dar was my Rockaway representative who came to my home. You will never meet a nicer or more knowledgeable individual who knows irrigation system. Dar did a very professional job in showing me how the overall irrigation system was set up and worked He answered my many questions and offered suggestions that would optimize the results of the irrigation system pattern/zones installed. He fixed my break in the line problem. His tutorial on the system was excellent. I highly commend Rockaway for having Dar on their team. Dar was a true professional and excellent to work with. I give an A++ rating.

I've been using Rockaway for my monthly lawn care, irrigation, weed control, etc. for almost a year. I have been most pleased with their work and professionalism. My current 'lead' is John and he has cleaned up my yard and made it look better than it has in years. I am most grateful and I highly recommend! Thanks, Rockaway! :)

I wouldn’t use a company whose drivers have major road rage. Rolling their window down and calling other drivers homophobic slurs while flipping them off (while in the company’s vehicle) shows their employees true colors. Would not recommend.

We had a great experience working with Rockaway.

The carpentry crew (Dempsey, Mike, and Billy) did an amazing job building our lean to. Their attention to detail was excellent. It’s not only beautiful but also strong and well-made.

The landscaping crew (Mike Oats, Antonio, and Tony) did a fantastic job sprucing up our yard. From our new lights to the updated pavers, to the new landscaping-they made sure everything turned out just right.

Mike and his crew from Rockaway are the best! On time, polite, thorough and friendly. Highly recommend this company for any landscape needs.

We fired them and then they cut down our sea grape bushes two week later. Unbelievable situation. They have no business being in residential yard care.

We were looking to do a revamp of our landscaping after a not so great experience years ago (with another company). We hit the jackpot with Rockaway. Our designer, Kathleen, was patient and immensely helpful. We were admittedly a little jaded after our prior experience, but she really demonstrated that she had our best interests in mind, listening to what we wanted and coming through with a design that has completely revitalized our yard. We look forward to coming home every day to see it!

Rockaway services our 60 unit Rough Creek Assn. in Sawgrass CC. They provide landscape services and maintain our irrigation system. They do an excellent job.

I'm a homeowner who is doing a large backyard remodel. I needed a company to provide demolition of the existing hardscape and landscape. Rockaway was the only company that really impressed me. They came out with a team of people to look at my project. Together we discussed and planned how the work would be accomplished. They quickly got back to me with a quote that was reasonable. Another big plus is that they were able to work with my tight timeline.
Then the real test started after I hired them. Mike and his team came over and started the work. Wow! The skills Mike and his crew have on a bobcat are amazing. They carefully and efficiently removed all the hardscaping and landscaping and cleaned up afterwards too.
Communication with Rockaway was also very professional. I had daily written reports and onsite communication with managers Mike and Dan.
I highly recommend Rockaway and look forward to working with them again. Thank you Mike, Dee, and Marquis...Awesome work!

From the start of the installation of our new landscaping, Mike O. contacted me, kept me abreast on comings and goings and took the stress out of an unusual situation. Greg and Chris at Rockaway Landscaping are my primary contacts.Chris is my Account Manager and Greg is the Owner. They are both competent and professional. What I value the most however is their fairness and honesty - rare commodities in today's world.

I got an initial quote from Rockaway to add a walkway, remove ribbons, add 4 rows of pavers and then fill the driveway with gravel. Joe was very nice during the proposal and meetings and extremely knowledgeable. He was a great representative for the company. Rockaway’s quote was $22k and were stating 3 weeks to get material. An alternative local company did the work at 1/3 the price and got the pavers delivered next day. Hence the 1 star. Shop around, save money.

It’s always been a pleasure to be on the community landscape committee.Rockaway has added a recently new account person Chris Clark . Landscape involves several dimensions. I’ve been very pleased with the hands on and work ethic’s of Chris Clark. If you have him on your account he is a bonus ,he is very detailed and knowledgeable , and open to listening to your concerns and comes with solutions.

I work in an industry with high vendor turnover, and no service gets more scrutiny than landscaping maintenance. After years of cycling through vendors, it’s been a real relief to have a rep I can rely on and a ground crew that truly gets things done.
