The technician called 15 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment and cancelled the appointment because of “problems with the truck”. After expressing my disappointment, the technician arrived anyway, one hour late, that is ok. The scope of work was an installation of an electric car charger in my garage. The technician was not very talkative, but he did let me know right away that he did not want me to watch him do the installation, because there could be a “spark” and made clear, it would be preferrable if I go inside my home. I was flabbergasted about this request and respectfully declined and told him if he is not comfortable with me being in my own garage, he can just leave. He started working anyway and I was there the whole time, and it was a very uncomfortable experience for me in my own home. The few questions I was asking during the installation were left unanswered; it was clear he did not want to answer anything and was very short in all aspects. Almost at the end when connecting the wires to the wall charger he did not go like recommended in the manual. He made up a story, telling me that the lid would not close that way. I watched many videos the week before and all of them connected the wires the way it was recommended in the manual and had no problem attaching the front plate. He also said I bought a “Gen 2” wall charger when in fact this was clearly a Gen 3 wall charger. What a terrible experience this was with Eric’s Electrical Services! This experience left me uncomfortable hoping everything was installed correctly with no damage to my home or car down the road. Setting up this appointment they left it up to me to apply for a permit when in fact in Cape Coral it is code having a permit for this installation. Glad I decided for it and paid for the permit. I was so excited getting the car charger installed and this technician completely ruined this experience.

You know that amazing electrician you wish you knew? These are the guys. Outstanding job, and patience with the complex light fixture I ordered. They were respectful of my home and took care to do things right and for a fair price. Look no further for your electrical needs. They even showed up when promised (which is unheard of in SWFL)!

They gave me a reasonable quote over the phone after discussing the scope of work. I accepted and they fit me in very quickly based on my short timetable. Jeff and Jason showed up promptly and were very professional and friendly. Couldn’t be more happy with the quality of work and efficiency.

We moved into a single family home in Bonita Springs a few weeks ago and needed an electrician for 2 projects: installing a level 2 charger in the garage and creating a new outlet in the master bath. Eric came out to look and bid the job. He diagnosed the situation quickly and gave us confidence. A week later, William came out to expertly and quickly did the work. Not only was the job done right, but also at a price 1/3 less than the other company who looked at the project. Eric's Electric is highly recommended.

We had such a great experience with this electrician company! They installed a Tesla power outlet set up and also added a new electrical outlet box. They showed up right on time, were polite, and made the whole process really easy. The price was very reasonable, and they kept us in the loop the entire time, which we really appreciated. It’s so nice to work with people who are both skilled and easy to talk to. Highly recommend!

I just had a Tesla charger put in my garage by Eric's Electrical Service. I must say from the first phone call to the next (I had to reschedule) the staff was beyond helpful. Very knowledgeable, accommodating, and genuinely a pleasure to talk to. I think it was Niki that I spoke with (sorry if I messed up on that name).

I was scheduled for 8 am - 8:30 am and Will showed up right at 8 am. He helped me move a few things around in the garage and went to work. He was done in 45 minutes. He was polite, knew what he needed to do and cheerful.. He even helped me move things back. Now if only he could have stayed a few more hours to help with other tasks.

Eric's Electrical hired a professional in Will, in every aspect. Very customer oriented, polite, knowledgeable and a true southern gentleman. Yes Will, your mother raised you right. Had a small problem with a GFCI circuit, and a friend recommended your company. Made the call, got on the schedule and the problem was fixed in about an hour. When the technician was finished you couldn't tell he'd ever been there.

Really liked working with these guys. Communicate well on time frame, keeping you updated on progress of permitting and job. Will use this company again.

Eric’s was prompt in receiving my requests and fairly proficient with performance and outcome. My review is triggered by the last job I had with them. I spent approximately $1900 for about 7-8 projects about two years ago. Most of the projects were successful albeit I’ve had to tolerate small components of changes that they said couldn’t be done and since have had completed by other vendors - such as rewiring certain lights to different switches to create new ambience and effect. My greatest concern tho is in having Eric’s return to fix an install for which they had installed by stopped working. The project was low wattage AC wired landscaping lighting around my pool cage. What the tech did removed one of the amp boxes stating it was “no good” and the problem rectified it. Yet, did it?

The lighting now is at least 50% reduction due to the removal of one amp box. Moreover? The amp box was removed and a large hole remained in the exterior stucco of the house without any remediation. Is it just me or does the solution to one problem not actually be a solution when it creates another issue where moisture and pests can enter the wall? I would have expected the exterior damage to be mitigated when it wasn’t even mentioned to me.

But the final issue was that the cost was $350 after I levied my concern that they were fixing their previous work - I believe the initial invoice for $450. This work also included the install of two Lutron switches that I purchased separately and they installed.

I will now have to pay even more money to have the exterior wall repaired and may need to have another electrician review the work to increase the brightness of the exterior landscape lighting.

Eric’s is friendly and I believe pretty knowledgeable but they have yet to complete a project for which there are not material requests that are not fulfilled or repairs that should have been at least disclosed let alone remedied.

Jason and William of Eric’s Electrical have helped us, in a major way, recover our electrical capabilities after a couple of years of hurricanes. They are experienced and smart and thorough and personable. I highly recommend them. Eric, the owner, is also excellent. Love these guys.

Will helped me with contacting Home Depot for a replacement fan because it was less than a year old. He saved me money and Home Depot replaced it. He came back and happily installed the new one and even took the old one away. Such great service with a smile.

We recently had Will come to fix a problem with our electric panel. The service was great - he came on short notice, installed the breaker, and FIXED the problem. I would call them again if we have any electrical issues. And, definitely recommend Eric's Electrical!
