Great work

3 stars given, not because of unsatisfactory service. All because the company doesn't take responsibility for damaged property accured by workers. My window screen got damaged during weedwacking and while lifting it up, still in motion came too close to the window and cut the screen. Report was made with pictures and sent to the company by the designated HOA maintenance board member, Steve. Their respond back to me was, from Terry, the manager: "they don't repair screens that over 5 years old". What kind of a wacky excuse is that? I had a screen in one piece, now with the patch on. This is absolutely unexeptable. A company with good morals, standards always should stay behind their workers accidental incidents. I live in Village Green, section 5 association, in Bradenton.

Bluestone is the landscaping company for our community; and their performance is below what I would consider to be an acceptable standard.

After they mow, edge, and trim, they pile up the yard debris and run over it with their riding mower instead of bagging it up and taking it away. In the Fall after the leaves have come off the trees, they do not blow and remove the leaves from the yard. I would consider that to be part of basic yard maintenance.

They don't trim on a regular basis; and to make matters worse, they don't trim far enough down on the times they do trim. The result is that the bushes never look well-manicured.

They run their riding mowers over our pavers and patios leaving tire marks instead of going around the other side and keeping their riding mower on the grass at all times.

Bluestone started out great. As the 2nd year started, the service has declined tremendously.

They do edge but blow all clippings right back into the edge. So the nice clean edging Bluestone advertises is gone. Bluestone literally spends no more than 3 minutes in the backyard. Rudi constantly tries to amend How the contract for the community should be interpreted.

Our community pays for the weeds to be sprayed but when you visually watch them and then tell Rudi they’ve missed an area he comes up with an excuse rather than saying I’m sorry you’re not happy and you’re the customer. Let me go back and re-spray.

If anybody chooses to use Bluestone, I would highly recommend you have a lawyer look over the contract and specify every detail. Leaf blowing is not part of “maintenance service.” So if there are leaves, they roll over them with a mower that has NO BAG on it & that’s all Bluestone does. Then all that debris ends in the edging area.

We hired bluestone to cut a tree and Rudi chose to use The wrong size chainsaw. I thought Rudi is the professional and he actually Asked for money For his chainsaw at the end. He didn’t like it we held him to his estimate & tried to change what the definition of his what the estimate said. Very inconsistent.

Bluestone does the minimum to say the least.

The COA where I live hired Rudi and his crew a few years ago to do regular mowing and trimming services, palm tree trimming, tree removal, planting of sod & ornamental plants, mulching, etc. Rudi came recommended to us by another nearby community. We have been pleased overall with their work. Whenever issues or special circumstances arise, Rudi and his crew have been willing to work with us to satisfy the association. He is willing to take on challenging projects whenever possible, and has access to the equipment and resources necessary to get the jobs done. He is very thoughtful and pleasant to work with.

We needed to cut some branches from an oak tree, and Bluestone Landscape did a great job. Despite the branches being heavy and not easily accessible, they were able to cut them down perfectly. They cleaned up everything afterwards and gave us a fair price. We will gladly use Bluestone Landscape for any landscape work in the future.

Search no further, hire Bluestone! We noticed our neighboring community had hired Bluestone. What a beautiful transformation from overgrown vegetation to a well groomed community. It was something other communities also noticed. I guess you could say Bluestone was the talk of the town. So we interviewed Rudi and got a quote. Our COA community has an over abundance of vegetation, with a small percentage of it being lawn. 220 palms, several 40+ year old white oaks, many invasive trees that needed to be removed & too many shrubs to count. We had a vision for a big change. Right off the bat Rudi shared a willingness to work at our pace/budget. It’s been just shy of 2 years since he began the “great cleanup” and wow wow wow, what a difference he and his team have made. In addition, he is very responsive to unexpected situations from irrigation breaks to hurricane clean up. Homeowners have chosen to hire him for their personal projects within courtyards and COA approved common element upgrades. He’s a genuinely nice guy and very pleasant to work with. Most importantly our priorities are his priority.

JB family lawn care came out and completely flipped both front and back. Mowed, Weed whacked , Trimmed and hauled away all of our yard waste that was no longer needed and more.
