Read this review to understand why you should choose Southern Values Cooling and Heating! After a horrific experience with another company in town that was the cheapest option (and ultimately damaged my home and created a mold problem), when I moved into my next home in 2011 and one of our units broke, I took a chance on Southern Values. I am SO GLAD I did. Their price came in between the cheapest and most expensive, but their customer service and the time they took to customize my quote really won me over and set my mind at ease. Over the years they have been the most responsive company to work with and have always charged me a very fair price for work done and never push me to do something unless it is absolutely necessary. They have honored warranties and always make us feel like a priority. When my upstairs AC unit died a few years ago, I called them and they had me back up and running the next day with a new system. After Hurricane when our almost 14 year old unit was damaged and everyone was having the same issue, they quickly assessed our situation and replaced our damaged unit in an incredibly timely fashion given the high demand for units. What makes them different is their customer service and attention to detail. They want to make sure the job is not only done right but also want to ensure that the customer feels comfortable and satisfied with the service they received. Their employees are highly skilled, kind, and professional, and the owners continue to stay actively involved in a hands-on manner. Southern Values' pricing is very competitive and explained thoroughly so there are no surprises. I had a great experience with Southern Values during a follow-up to a Sunday emergency when my cooling system was struggling.
Instead of a quick fix, I opted for a coil replacement. Blake Dreyer and his assistant (whose name I regretfully forgot) arrived promptly, introduced themselves, and efficiently completed the job.

Compared to other “reputable” HVAC companies I’ve dealt with, Southern Values stood out as professional, qualified, and genuinely concerned with the outcome. I feature the company itself operates with integrity, no upselling, just honest, necessary work for a reasonable price.

Guys came out super fast, very professional. Installed our new pool heater and answered all our questions. Definitely recommend.

I have been using Southern Values Cooling and Heating for years! I like how you can call them and they answer right away or call you back quickly. Blake was my service guy today and he did a thorough checkup. He gave me options on my older AC unit to extend it's life. Which I really appreciate. Who wouldn't want to get a few more AC years. The work they do is top notch. When I do need to get a new AC I will use them because they are trust worthy.

I highly recommend this AC company. I have used them for years and they never disappoint. Recently my AC wasn't cooling and I didn't discover it til I got home from work. I called after 5 and left a message to request an appointment for the next day. I received a call from one of the owners shortly after and unfortunately they couldn't come the next day so they did some troubleshooting over the phone (FT) with me to fix it. Above and beyond. After hours. They truly care about their customers.

Bryce did a very thorough job and finding the problem with our AC unit. His service was very prompt and professional. We will continue to use Bryce and Southern Values Cooling for our future AC needs!

Southern Values Cooling and Heating truly lives up to their name. Our AC stopped cooling, and we thought we’d need a whole new system. A friend recommended them, and Chris was out within hours. He quickly found the issue and had us back up and running in no time. He was friendly, honest, and never tried to push a new system on us. They’ve definitely earned our trust (and future business).

On a Sunday morning in the peak summer heat of SW Florida, I called just to get a quote and see how quickly they could get someone out. No joke, within an hour of making that initial call, Chris had come, fixed the problem, and then left. Less than an hour earlier I hadn’t even heard of these guys and my house was at about 84 degrees. Well before lunch time, he was already long gone and the house was at 73. These weren’t routine maintenance type of repairs either, like a clogged pipe or something like that. There were some genuine technical issues. Who else in Florida can do that for you at the last minute on a SUNDAY morning in the summertime??? Other places consider themselves timely if they get to your house the next evening. Meanwhile you’re stuck in your own personal hotbox all red faced ready to pass out. But Chris saved the day. He didn’t try to upsell or over-diagnose or any of that garbage. He was honest, thoughtful, extremely fair, and just overall kind natured. He’s an outstanding technician and a great guy. Their prices are fair and their scheduling system is a bit unusual at first, but exceedingly efficient. If you live in the Bradenton Area, there’s no reason to go with anyone else. This is by far the best experience I’ve had with A/C professionals in my 18+ years of living in Florida. I have never met Chris or anyone else affiliated with this company before in my life. Like I said, I didn’t even know they existed until this morning! I’m leaving this review because I am very grateful, no other reason.

AMAZING!!! First time serviced. Although they installed our system back in 2022. Chris was the one that installed our new system. And, now serviced it. As before, AMAZING customer service!!! AMAZING work!!! Got our system up and running I no time!!!

Blake came to our home for maintenance check and found things that needed to be replaced. He carefully itemized things that needed attention, but always gave us the opportunity to prioritize things that needed to be repaired first from what could wait until the next visit. He continued until it was complete.As always with the case with the professionals in this business, he was thorough, extremely polite and patient, answering all of our questions. Technician was rude saying he wouldn't service my handler bc a tapestry was rolled up in front of it. And one ladder . I said the other technicians there was NEVER a problem before . He then serviced it . . He wanted to replace the bulb because there was mold starting . I said no bc its SOOOO OVERPRICED..AFTER I noticed a leak from a pipe that ent outside . It wasn't leaking before because I was looking a that area the night before . He had loosen the pipeand water leaked on my boxes causing damage.. He said it would cost $280. Dollars to fix . After he left ,I took some glue for pipes and fixed the pipe and it costed me NOTHING. He tried to rip me off. I'll never have him in my house again . He was a winer
