I had a faulty electrical panel that needed replacement. At the same time, I decided to install a larger panel, whole house surge protector, generator interlock, and an outdoor receptacle. We also needed to upgrade the grounding and risers.

It was several weeks before they could get out to do an estimate and about a month after that for the work to be performed. This all very understandable with the amount of work that needs to be done in our area post Ian.

When it came time for the electrician to do the work, they were on time and hit the ground running. They needed to coordinate LCEC, and the inspector to minimize the amount of time our power was off. Amy, the electrician, and her helper were just outstanding. The work was completed professionally, quickly and they made a great effort to keep everything nice and clean.

I was really impressed with how well Amy and her helper communicated with one another. They were polite and respectful, no yelling back and forth, always saying please and thank you to each other. Very professional attitudes and work.

They replaced the electrical panel at my house. They did a great job, it was fairly priced, and they finished in a timely manner. Would highly recommend them for your electrical needs.

I recently had them out to inspect connections to the Air Handler. End result: replaced wire nuts with something called a Polaris tap (valued at less than $50 on amazon). Verified thru my security system that the technician was on site less than 1 hour.

Subsequently, I received an invoice with a line item for "Lump Sum Billing." The amount was $475. Residential billing for a total time on job site was 56 minutes (inclusive of 18 minutes rattling around in the truck for a part).

Naturally, the invoice was disputed in writing. Categorizing work with phrasing such as "Lump Sum Billing" does not constitute a proper invoice. And should not appear on statements to the customer (especially those where invoice totals bear little resemblance to actual labor & material expended).

btw....no system testing after completion. the tech simply showed me a photo on his phone.

AMAZING company! Within 2 days we were able to get someone out for an estimate and next day repairs. They are very honest and trustworthy. We’ve called company’s that never showed up or quoted us for over $40k Kirkwood is seriously the best in business!

I am a repeat customer of Kirkwood Electric & I recently called them to remove & install two coach lights on either side of my garage & an overhead light above my front door. The light over the front door required a 12’ ladder. They sent out Josh & he did an excellent job in a short period of time. Their billing was reasonable and I highly recommend them.

Raphael and Ediel were fabulous completing repair work pertaining to my boat lift and the lighting on my dock. Both individuals are very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. Josha installed a generator inlet and interlock in my electrical panel. He is great to work with - knowledgeable, personable, and an excellent communicator. He knows the electrical code, and is "safety-first" in everything he does. He got everything installed and walked me through everything I needed to know and answered all of my questions. It couldn't have been a better customer experience, and I was very happy with the result.
Lance answered very detailed questions that I had before undertaking the project, and made sure that everything was handled to my specifications. He is great to work with.

1/14 4:40PM. One of ur careless drivers almost hit me with a trailer on the cape coral parkway bridge. After he almost hit me, he was swerving the trailer back and forth. Eventually I got next to him on the bridge and he was laughing constantly. Guy deserves to have is license revoked.

Derek did a great job to fix my breakers here in Cape Coral Fl vary fast service he responded in one hour and fixed the breakers in less then one hour! 5 stars

Joshua was awesome. I’ve had two experiences with Kirkwood Electric, and both were excellent. It took them 20 minutes to troubleshoot the problem which ends up being an FPL problem. They are definitely relationship oriented and great to work with.

We recently had storm shutters installed and the contractor drove some attaching screws into the electrical wiring. We didn’t notice anything wrong until after the contractor had left. And because it was after business hours we couldn’t contact them.

So we contacted Kirkwood Electric and told them what we needed and they had a crew at our house in a very short time. They figured out right where the trouble was and had it fixed in just about 2 hours. They repaired the wire and installed a new outlet and function checked the circuit. They had to make a cut in the wall to replace a section of wire but they installed a new outlet at the cut and when they were finished there was no visible signs of damage and the outlet looked as though it had always been there. And they left no mess behind.

I used to work as the Housekeeper at the community we live in and knew about Kirkwood Electric as they took care of all the electrical work in the new homes delivered to community. I was very familiar with the quality of their work and they were my first choice to call when we needed repairs. They didn’t disappoint us. I can highly recommend them for any kind of repair work.
