Brandon worked with us to coordinate a new heat pump. It was done without us even being present. He communicated all details to us and met with us at a later date to teach us how to operate new heater. Thanks Brandon!

I originally wrote a review of how quick they came out. Then hurricane Ian happens and this fool raised his rates substantially due to no cage. I contacted several other companies and their words were "thats SICK to take advantage of people when they've been hit so hard" and no, no other company is charging more. Shame on Brandon Pools to take advantage of victims. Definitely wont be using him again!

I switched to Brandon Pools after I got tired of being ripped off by Pool Doctor, and havent looked back. Small locally owned company that actually cares about their services and customers. Highly recommend them.

I had my system replaced by Brandon pools. Here’s my experience. He came out promptly to give an estimate. I was charged 100 for the estimate, which was supposed to be taken off my bill and wasn’t. I paid half up front via their email payment system. I even did it as an online check, because they told me they get a fee if I use a credit card. The tech came out on a Friday and replaced my system, he was wonderful and efficient. Saturday morning as I was taking care of family things I received 3 phone calls from them with no message (2 of them were 10 min apart!). Monday morning I get a call from the owner. He asked if it was done, and how it was working. While on the phone with him, I asked if they were sending the email so I can pay the remainder that I owe. He told me they just did. I thanked him and told him I would go on and pay. I was working when he called, I figured I would pay it when I got done working as my job would not appreciate me stopping to pay bills. Within a few min. I get a text message about my “Past due bill” What???? Past due??? Along with another message to leave them a review. Followed by another message saying if it’s not paid within 24 hours they will charge another $100.
While the tech was pleasant and the job got done, I think that if your process is to send these emails that you pay through…you can’t expect people to jump as soon as the email comes through. I would have happily paid the gentleman that came to install it. But to have my phone blow up for payment as if I was “skipping” out of the bill was not necessary. Give people a minute or collect the payment at the time of service. -
We found Brandon after our original pool company could no longer service our pool due to staff shortages. And we are so glad we did. Brandon’s weekly pool service is amazing. Our pool has never looked better. He converted us from chlorine to salt and has managed other repairs and replacements at reasonable costs and exemplary services. He is on time and very approachable always available to answer questions. I would highly recommend Brandon pools for your weekly pool cleaning and chemical replacement needs as well as repairs if required.

I had the output pipe on my current pump come loose and drain the pool to where it was sucking air. I caught it pretty quickly (less than an hour) and hooked everything back up. Restarted the pump and it would start to prime and then just stop. Called in Brandon pools to check it out. I explained what happened and that I feared I may have damaged the pump. Brandon came right out. He didn't try to troubleshoot anything or prime the existing pump. He was convinced that the problem was the pump and that I would need a replacement. The new pump plus labor would be just under $2K. I agreed and he ordered the pump.
The pump was delivered and the following day a contractor came out to replace the pump. Once the install was complete, they started the pump and it exhibited the exact same problem I was having with the old pump. He spent about an hour working on it with no luck. He then had to stop for the day due to lightning in the area.
I went out after the storm and tried to start the new pump. I tried filling the supply lines but still had the same problem. On a whim, I tried turning on the solar heating system. The pump immediately primed and everything started working!
So in the end I was the one who got things working. To be fair, the original pump was old so who knows how much longer it would have lasted (it had no problems up to this point). Because the new pump is electronic, it wants to run in a low energy state which means it does not draw enough water to run the pool vacuum. I now need to figure out that problem. What's kind of funny was that $125 of that $2K was for the original call where they did no troubleshooting and just sold me a pump I did not need. 2X funny, I was told I would not be charged that fee since they were selling me a new pump install, but after hearing I didn't need a new pump after all it was left on the final invoice. On the plus side, I had a pleasant interaction with everyone and they were extremely responsive. On the downside I spent a lot of money for a part I probably didn't need and ultimately had to troubleshoot the problem for myself.
Update: Reviewing the invoice, the vendor actually discounted the $125 initial fee to $60. This was a 50% discount off of their usual charge for coming out, performing no hands on troubleshooting, and selling me a pump I really didn't need. -
