    I hired JJ Pro to paint the exterior of my house. They did a good job, but the lasting effect is somewhat dissatisfied. I gave him a little jar of the sample paint color I wanted from Lowe’s. We had talked about Lowe’s, and I thought he’d go there. He went to Home Depot for a “color match.” It failed miserably. The base white paint of all paint stores is different. Even the color drops could be different. Don’t believe me: call any paint store and verify. I watched as they painted the edges, but in the bright sunshine, I couldn’t see the actual color. At one point I went inside for several hours. When I came out, the entire house had been painted ... but not in the soft sage green I loved in other homes. It was more an Easter Egg green. Yes, I was amazed at the stunning and dramatic transformation of a forty year old home, which had never been painted. I now have to live with a disagreeable color that it is not my wheelhouse. I had gotten approval from the park office for my colors. They are very fussy, and want to keep this park up to a higher level. If I had it to do over again, definitely, I would (1) be at the store when the paint is ordered, check it, and if it is wrong, will not accept it; or (2) check the paint when he arrives with it before any painting is started, or (3) buy the paint myself. If you hire JJ Pro, I strongly urge you to buy the paint yourself.
