Electrical reviews in Clearwater, Florida

Gulfstar Electric and their technicians are THE MOST PROFESSIONAL team that I’ve worked with in my 29 years in Florida! From their impeccable uniforms to their professional looking van to all their state of the art tools, Callum & Zach installed a Tesla Home Charger that required some unique and creative approaches in record time! Their well groomed personal appearance made me think the Owners were showing up for my job, as I could tell the moment they got out of the truck that they were professionals who took pride in their work!

TJ showed extreme patience over the past 4-5 months, as we waited for Tesla to ship my charger, which happened while we were out of the country for three months. His professionalism and patience was greatly appreciated as we worked through all the challenges of installing my Tesla charger in the location that I wanted.

I could not have asked for a better experience and unequivocally recommend Gulfstar to everyone!

Gulfstar Electric is the authority for properly installing your EV home charging unit. They literally walk you through the process of receiving the rebates available and provide you with the correct detailed invoice to qualify for the rebates.
Quality service and installation.

Excellent from start to finish.
I got a quote from another electrician for $2,847 to install my Tesla Wall Charger!!
This quote was outrageous, so I reached out to Gulfstar Electric. The process started with me sending Gulfstar seven photos of my garage and electrical panel and where I wanted the wall charger installed.
They then came back with three quotes ($645 to install charger within two feet of panel; $745 to install charger within 10 feet of panel and $1,545 to install charger and 35 feet of surface mounted conduit). I really like that they gave me three quotes to choose from. I went with the 35 feet option since it was my preferred location in garage on left as you enter garage, so very close to my Tesla charge port.
They then scheduled Grayson to do the installation, only two days later.
Grayson did an amazing job and I couldn't be happier.

Gulfstar has the entire process nailed, everything was electronic, uploading photos, e-signing quote, scheduling, invoicing and paying online.
TRULY EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE!!

Gulfstar Electric is the place to go for your EV installation needs. The team was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating to my Tesla Wall Connector installation. Installation and connection was fast and the gentlemen made sure to walk over everything with me to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. I highly recommended this company and will tell anyone that has EV charging or home electric needs. Thank you Gulfstar Electric!

5 stars all the way!!! You’re not going to beat them on quality and service (time). I don’t think you can even beat them on price in any service as we’ve had multiple jobs done. If you find someone else don’t do it cause it’s junk quality for cheaper. Better run back to Gulfstar We have had multiple jobs done to perfection fixing others Mistakes. All along the way getting five star quality, timeliness, and a cost you can’t beat. As far as service, I can’t rave enough about all the way down from the first call hooked into a manager that solves your problem and gets them out there (last two times within 24 hours and one within the hour). When they arrived they are nothing but professional. We had Zack and Jeff this last time. Nothing but pros dressed professionally and customer oriented, they were safety first had and wore all proper gear, and got to work with a smile. They delivered and confirmed results and questions before leaving. I don’t leave reviews typically but did here because it’s really for you as a customer looking for good services, don’t skip over gulf star or you’ll be sorry.

Great experience from initial contact to final installation. Excellent communication, knowledgeable staff, fair pricing, quick service, clean install. The team over at Gulfstar are doing great things.

Our technicien from Gulfstar did a great job installing our new home Tesla charger. He Even took the time to activate the Warranty, Connect to our home wifi and link the new product to our Tesla app. This charger is actually a replacement of one they installed 5 years ago with a new model. Both jobs were delivered on time, well done and at the quoted price. Highly recommend these guys! Thanks Gulfstar!

Gulfstar electric did an outstanding job of installing my Tesla wall charger and Generac cut off unit. They were on time and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gulfstar in the future.

I had an outstanding experience with Gulf Star Electric from beginning to end. When I first called, Christian was extremely helpful and made scheduling quick and easy.

The installation of the Tesla home charger was completed flawlessly, and the work was both professional and efficient.

I then was contacted by Corina (Accounts manager) Who thanked me for my business and put me in contact with Briana (scheduling coordinator and permitting specialist).

Bri followed up with me and went above and beyond . That extra level of support really stood out and made the whole experience seamless.

Everything about this company is five-star — from communication, to installation, to customer care. Look no further.. I highly recommend Gulf Star Electric! Every company should follow their lead!

Gulfstar did an amazing job with my Tesla charge install! Christian was great with the quote process. Zach and Grayson are awesome installers that were very knowledgeable and professional. Bri and Molly put together a helpful step by step guide regarding the Duke energy rebate process. I would highly recommend Gulfstar for any electric charger needs!!

The level of customer service and professionalism at Gulf Star Electric was top notch. The quality of the service was exceptional. They arrived on time and completed the task efficiently and charged the exact amount of the quote. No upselling or add ons. I highly recommend this company.

Very excited to have a home charger! The people at GulfStar were very responsive and Zack and Brandon (installers) were so tidy, professional, and knowledgeable. Highly(!) recommend this company!

Gulfstar Electric was outstanding from start to finish.

Christian was incredibly helpful during the planning phase. He walked me through the options over the phone, helped me think through the load requirements, and made the whole process of adding a new EV charger and upgrading my garage subpanel feel straightforward and stress-free.

A few days before the install, Callum came out to inspect my panel in person so we could tailor the plan correctly. That extra step gave me a lot of confidence that everything would be done the right way.

On install day, Zach, Geoff, and Dirk were top-notch—professional, well-spoken, and clearly knowledgeable. They took the time to explain what they were doing, worked efficiently, and treated my home with care. The workmanship was clean and the finished setup looks great.

If you’re looking for a team you can trust for EV charger installs or panel upgrades, I highly recommend Gulfstar Electric.

Zach and Geoffrey installed two Tesla wall connectors in our garage. The installation was outstanding and exactly as planned.

Their work exceeded expectations. From start to finish, they demonstrated exceptional friendliness and dedication. Their hard work was evident in the care they took to ensure the installation was organized and clean throughout the process. They worked efficiently without compromising quality, completing the project smoothly and in on time.

Both Zach and Geoffrey were consistently friendly, approachable, and communicative, making the entire experience seamless. Their attention to detail, and commitment to doing the job right truly set them apart. We greatly appreciate their efforts and highly commend their excellent service.

A+ to the entire Gulfstar team throughout the whole process from introduction to scheduling to execution to the finish line.

Thank you, Christian, Bri, Zach, and Geoffrey!

I couldn't be happier with my Gulfstar experience installing a Tesla Wall Charger. The installers, Jeff and Dirk, were true professionals. They worked very well together, walked me through the entire install, and taught me quite a bit. I was tempted to DIY this but am VERY glad I did not. I had about 4 quotes from a wide variety of companies/individuals (local electricians I found on Reddit that were going to do something not to code - they wanted to install Romex, which is a no-go). Gulfstar was pretty much the only one that was going to do it the right way and it was a very fair price. These guys do a lot of EV chargers and are extremely familiar with them vs. many others that kind of shoot from the hip and wing it. I wanted this done right and they nailed it.

Bluefish Electric is the best. Two outdoor lanai ceiling fans with conduits in matching ceiling colors installed seamlessly by Stephen’s crew.

Great guy!

AMAZING service

Excellent job by real professionals, I could not be happier!

Excellent service, knowledge and attention to detail! I will continue to recommend to everyone I know!

I got tired of paying for excuses so I found somebody that charges for solutions. Stephen did stuff that other people just could not.
