Electrical reviews in Clearwater, Florida

We needed wiring for two ceiling fans and outlets. These guys were affordable, efficient, on time, and respectful. They cleaned up afterward and even took boxes and am old fan with them for us. While in the attic they discovered a wire that had become uncapped and took care of that too. I'll definitely be using these guys again.

I had your services recently and wanted to let you know how impressed I was. The gentlemen were just that-so polite and willing to explain just what was needed to be done.
They worked efficiently and wasted no time.
I will not hesitate to continue to use you, as well as recommend you any time I have an opportunity. Thank you for being a trusted family company that I can depend on. -
Daniel Clark & Kevin Chavez were amazing with Yarbrough Electric. Prior to their arrival we had 2 different Electric companies here to restore our power with no luck. After just 3 hours these two guys were in an out like nothing ever happened! Thank you both again

Excellent service.
This company has taken care of my family’s homes for years, and once again, they did an amazing job. They replaced my outdated breaker box efficiently and left no mess behind. The team was incredibly knowledgeable, polite, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was completed in a timely manner. Their attention to detail was impressive. I cannot recommend them highly enough. A big shout-out to the two amazing guys who did the work! -
Stop searching. These guys are the real deal. Great service. Knowledgeable and fast. They charge a reasonable hourly rate and didn’t over charge me or try any funny pricing gimmicks. I had a competitor come and wanted to charge me an outrageous amount to install 2 ceiling fans in my home. They did the work for less then a third of that price. I was so impressed. Will recommend these guys to anyone who need any electrical work done.

I needed an electrician to install a A/C disconnect, I call a few companies, and the quotes were out rages, Then I was referred to Yarbrough, the lady said they were booked out for 3 weeks, but she would put me on the A.S.A.P. list. They were excellent, not only did they do what I needed but they knocked out two of my Neighbour's A/C disconnect boxes. I big shout out to Kevin and Nate for an outstanding job. If I could give Yarbough 10 stars I would.

Easily the best electrician in town. I needed an electrical panel replaced and they provided a very detailed quote. Everything about the process was easy, and the install went off without a hitch. I will definitely use them again for any future electrical needs.

I have always been pleased with the friendly, yet professional service provided by the staff and technicians at Yarbrough Electric. I decided to have a whole home surge protection system installed after lightning fried my Spectrum service line and destroyed one of my trees. Vlad arrived on time and installed the surge protection system. He also rewired my Ring doorbell since it went offline as a result of the lightning strike to the nearby tree.

Staff was nice. Bill is insanely ridiculous for what was done. One guy worked, another stood around looking confused the whole time. Tripped my breaker several times by not connecting ground wires. Maybe here an hour. Billed me like they were the best lawyers in Tampa Bay defending a murder suspect.

Employee became aggressive with me in the parking lot. Owner didn't show adequate concern even justified the actions. Unsafe environment family operation where the "boss" is run over by the family. No accountability. In response to your response. You did not understand the part of our conversation where I mentioned I was contemplating using your company on a project? Guess justifying bad behavior is right down your ally. Again another sign the employees are steamrolling the management and there is no accountability. By the way there was no car in front of me at the light you claim I was bypassing. There's no need to argue with you anymore because my project money and any future projects will go to a company that knows how to handle themselves better than jumping in from of cars of possible clients. Your blind sighted view of your employees is on you. I have choices.

We had 1 new ceiling fan installed and 2 replaced as well as added several outlets. From the beginning the gentlemen were punctual, professional, and polite. They were very attentive to my needs and checking with me throughout the project to ensure they were meeting my expectations. They were very clean ensuring when they left for a night prior to the project completion, everything was clean. I cannot say enough positive about the guys who did our work. The only thing that disappointed me was that something we had discussed with the person who came in and took information and created proposal, did not get passed on to the hands on workers. Once we called the office and pointed it out, it was addressed; however, my only disappointment was that it happened. All said and done, I would hire Yarbrough again.

Could not be happier with their service. I made an appointment with them. All office staff was excellent. I told them what I needed and said they would call with a date and time. I got a call the next day saying they had a crew had just finished a job and were available that afternoon. Please come on.
Two man crew arrived within an hour and started to work. I could not believe all was done in a few hours. They recommend some excellent changes which really made overall improvements.
No time was wasted and cleanup was well done. Two great employees.
I will continue to use Yarbrough for my electrical needs. -
We had a set of positive experiences with Yarborough followed by a set of fairly disasterous experiences caused by one electrician. At significant expense we have since hired new electricians to fix these issues. In short - electrician installed a completely chunky obtrusive non low profile unnecessary solution in an interior environment that is becoming a sunporch. Photo below. Worse - same electrician refused numerous requests and calls to the company to replace an OLD, CLEARLY WORN OUT breaker in a dock panel - a breaker that is failing on a DAILY BASIS. The electrician insisting on his version of being right and telling everyone around him - oh you people are just overloading the circuit. Also there is doubled and maybe tripled up GFCI protection on the circuit also causing issues that was not there before this electrician started on this part of the project. Photo below. Third - Yarborough techs installed one remote control successfully - we ordered a second one to which the same electrician causing these issues told us - well its late in the day - I'll just give you the remote in a bag from Intermatic when you come to the office and you can program it yourself - bag o fun photo attached. (Strike three...) Further this electrician was observed berating his young apprentice who we liked and worked very hard - yelling things to him like "Never send a boy to do a man's job!" in front of me, my wife and other contractors on the job. We found this an unacceptable way to treat people. This electrician did some positive things on our property - but was overshadowed by these issues which is costing us a significant amount of time and money to repair. We felt strongly the company had an obligation to CORRECT these issues in short order - instead they took a couple hundred dollars off the bill, offered to send a different crew for future service and said this is the best we can do. This is the best I can do offering a fair recommendation of Yarborough Electric. We paid them something pushing $5K for a number of projects with thousands more $$$ of projects to come. No more.

We had a great experience using Theta Electric for our move into a new office building. I called them a week prior to our move, during a time when they had a lot of other work scheduled. Theta went out of their way to make sure they were available for multiple projects we needed before we could move in. We had 3 of their electricians work for us at different times and all of them were very professional and courteous and cleaned up all materials, etc when they completed their jobs. This is the second time we have used Theta and we have been really happy with the quality of service both times. I will definitely used them again in the future.

Had some electrical wiring problems and got a referral from my daughter and son-in-law to use this company and ask for Jeremy.. He.was great! Knowledgeable!, and kept me updated on the work he was doing.

Keith is a excellent electrician. He did a great job and a excellent job of cleaning up. Everything worked perfectly when he left. I would recommend this company.

I've used Positricity personally several times and found them to be extremely timely, professional and affordable. Recently, one of my clients was in dire need of a panel upgrade in 11 condo units. Their electrician informed them at the last minute that they were unable to complete the job by the insurance company's deadline. This would've resulted in substantially higher insurance premiums and deductibles. I called Positricity who was able to get someone out the next day to take a look at the job, and the following day they had 2 techs out there working diligently to get this done. This is service that is extremely rare these days. They accomplished the rush job for my client, which seemed like an impossible feat, and for a reasonable cost. I cannot recommend them enough and will be using them for many years to come. Thank you, Positricity!

We hired Theta Electric so they could run some computer cats/drops for our new practice. When I say new, I mean a new build out. The first thing I noticed about the tech they sent was 1. Friendly. You would expect everyone to be friendly right? Not so much anymore. This tech was. 2. Informative in what he was going to do. And kept me in the loop. and finally 3. He stayed until the job was completely done and made sure the cables worked. I recently had an experience with a different company where that did not happen. I told my boss that we need to keep this company's info for any future needs. Whether for our own homes or for recommendations.

I've used Theta Electric twice now for a variety of electrical issues. Setting the appointment was very easy. Both times they came out quickly with no long lead time. The electricians arrived on time and were knowledgeable. Their approach to charging a preset amount based upon the actual job came in very handy, as my clients knew exactly how much they would be charged for the work. Both electricians went out of their way to explain what they were doing and to be helpful. Very good experiences both times.

The staff at Theta Electric are certainly knowledgeable, courteous, and professional from end to end! They're customer service representatives Jill and Dorothy were exceptionally kind and were genuinely hospitable on the phone asking all the right questions and following up after the service visit. The service technician that I had on site, James Corminy, was very keen and observant on troubleshooting my issue. This company is great and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a commercial/ industrial fix in a very timely manner! I give them FIVE STARS. Thank you again.

Jeremy came out and inspected our situation and came up with a solution and estimate on the spot. We agreed to do the job and he started right away. He worked all day outside in the heat and completed all the work on the dock wiring. He came out another day, exactly when he said he would, to complete the other work. Upon removing the panel to the meter to install bonding, he noticed a serious problem with the wiring from the power company. It's amazing there was not an explosion or power loss. I called the power company and they tried to stick me with the repair saying the words from the street are the homeowners responsibility. Jeremy didn't think this was correct and got on the phone with them and explained how there was a bad splice performed and the crimps were power company crimps (something I would not have noticed). He convinced them it was their problem after explaining the situation to a manager and a power company truck showed up 15 mins later. The repair was done the same day by the power company at no expense to me. If Jeremy had not dealt with and convinced the power company to repair the problem, I would have a major cost and a lot of hoops to jump through to deal with the issue, never mind a blackout period in my house over a weekend with 3 kids inside. I highly recommend theta and Jeremy if you want a job done right and promptly.
