I called Pinellas Tree Service, on short notice, about helping out with two large trees in our back yard. We were needing the work done quickly as we had a very large party scheduled at our house in a few days.They responded quickly and professionally, providing excellent service just as they had promised. They were even careful to go out of their way not to do any damage to our lawn. We couldn't be happier and would recommend them whole-heartedly.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! This company exceeded my expectations at every turn. I've never seen such a hardworking crew. We had a big job and as the day got longer, additional crews were dispatched to help to ensure job was completed on time. Every branch, stick and leaf was removed and they left the property immaculate, tidy and beautifully groomed. My neighbors have already asked for their contact info and I couldn't be happier to share. We've used dozens of tree services through the years but we'll never use anyone else again.

Pinellas tree service exceeded our expectations. The arborist they sent out was knowledgeable and professional. The team that came out to remove our large tree and do some other trimming were professional, timely, and did a fantastic job. They went above and beyond! I recently had a large storm damaged 34 inch in diameter, 35+ feet laurel oak removed that was located in an inaccessible area in the yard. After getting quotes and interviewing 3 other companies, we decided on Pinellas Tree Service, and we are fully satisfied with our choice. The job required a 70 ton crane that had to pull into the yard. They took every precaution to make sure my property was not damaged in any way. Based on my experience, I believe Pinellas Tree Service to be an extremely well run business. They have a very courteous and professional staff, from the person who answered the phone to the workmen on the job. They are very detailed oriented and organized. Prior to the actual job and after the cost estimate, there were two unsolicited subsequent visits out to my property to further assess and plan the job. What struck me that is not very common in this industry was that the workmen actually had pride in their work, and I felt, genuinely wanted to do a good job for the customer. The crew was very safety conscious as well, wearing the correct safety equipment and practicing safety techniques such as being tethered at all times when on a lift or in the air and using a whistle whenever anything was about to be dropped below. Lastly, I believe customer satisfaction is one of Pinellas Tree Service's top priorities. The owner personally came out to check on the job and stayed through a good portion of it, pitching in to help his crew at times. When the job was almost complete with just the clean up left, the owner had to leave to go to another job. I wanted to pay him then, but he said he did not want payment until the job was completely finished, AND I was totally satisfied with the work. I did not expect that. The job exceeded my expectations. From start to finish it took about 5 hours. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. If you are looking for what I believe to be an honest professional genuinely customer satisfaction orientated tree service company with the correct equipment, right procedures, and experience, I highly recommend Pinellas Tree Service.

After my second experience with Pinellas Tree Service, I am proud to say that on both occasions, their work was exceptional, thorough and above and beyond. I used them again for my business in December. A 300-year old oak tree fell on one of my rental homes. Dan and Gareth both made sure we could safely remove the monster. The work was amazing and we may be able to save the house.

We have used Pinellas Tree Service several times to trim our trees and have been thrilled with their work each time. Dan Fields, the owner, took a lot of time to explain to us why certain branches should be cut and why others should not. He is very patient (made a few trips to our house during the bidding process) and knowledgeable. His crew left my property clean removing all the debris. We highly recommend this company.

If you need a quality company for tree related work by far the best from my personal opinion is Pinellas Tree Service. From Phil Turner their arborist who provided the estimate to the office staff who set the appointment to John and Nathan who completed the work, all were very professional and courteous. I have used them before and will definitely use them again. And if I can, I will certainly ask for John and Nathan again and you should also.

The crew did a very good job. I have used 3 other companies in the past 10 years and I am the most happy with Pinellas Tree Service. They listened to me where some companies did not.

Excellent company. The Arborist was extremely knowledgeable. The price was decent. They did more work for the money than another company we previously used. Staff was very polite, and asked numerous times if we were happy with the work. They were prompt and efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. I would use them again. Their arborist Chris, seems to know everything about anything that grows in Florida.

Pinellas Tree Service removed 4 trees for us, and I couldn't recommend them enough. They were very communicative on the estimates and scheduling (Ellen in the office is so pleasant to work with). They showed up on time day of removal, and their team breezed right through the work. The whole team seemed very experienced. Nothing was damaged, they cleaned up after themselves so well. True professionals, I would never call another tree company again.

Called Pinellas Tree Service on recommendation from a neighbor. I had a giant oak tree over my house that had a large limb fall and come to rest on my new 1 year old roof. The limb was very high and needed to come down gently.After analyzing the steps needed the guys brought it down quickly. The whole process was reasonably priced and they told me the next steps to keep my trees maintained. Thanks guys!

I have been using Pinellas Tree Service for over ten years, Jon Wilbur has always been fair with his pricing as well as discounting my pricing as a Veteran. The workers are professional and their work is the best. These people do their work as if the work they are doing is their own property. I have recently recommended Jon Wilbur & Pinellas Tree Service to a local business where the property was recently purchased by a new owner. The property was not kept up and when I contacted the new property owner to advise him of the lack of tree maintenance, he requested that I recommend a local tree service. I recommended Jon & Pinellas Tree Service and although the new property owner did not live locally he took my recommendation and spoke to Jon received a professional quote with pictures, his business license along with their insurance information. Their quote was accepted within 24 hours & on the same day that Pinellas Tree Service did the work for the neighboring business, they also did the work for my property that I had hired them for. The work for both our properties was exceptional. I could not be more satisfied with the result of their work. To anyone wondering whether or not to hire Pinellas Tree Service all you need to do is see the work they have done or read this review. My wife & I are retired and on a fixed income and although I have always done my research and looked at other tree services I have always stayed with Jon and Pinellas tree. The new property owner is now a new customer of Pinellas Tree and I am sure he is as pleased with the work as I am.

Beautiful, beautiful work. These guys know their trees. They recommended a crown cleaning for portion of a 100 year-old oak that hangs over our yard and it has transformed our property.

We found Pinellas Tree Service through an excellent arborist we've used for decades to care for our huge old live oak tree. It needed some major TLC pruning and borer treatment, and we had several palms needing a trim. We couldn't be more satisfied with the service's communications, efficiency, smart, careful, and friendly workmen, good work and clean-up. And they managed to navigate our very narrow street without causing anyone else inconvenience. Pinellas Tree Service is now our go-to company.

The crew at Pinellas Tree service did an incredible job removing a rotting tree from a dangerous location on our property in Tampa. Pleased with their work. They submitted a competitively-priced proposal - they scheduled the work promptly - their crew arrived when expected, reviewed the work to be done with us before commencing - and left our property as neat and clean as it was prior to their arrival. The job? Remove two 40-foot tall Washington palms, surrounded by other shrubbery, from a front yard planting area close to the house. They did the job without damaging any of the other plantings, they were courteous and respectful of our and our neighbor's property, and they worked fast. I would use them again and recommend their service work.

Hurricane Milton tipped our huge live oak enough that we were afraid not only for our own house but the neighbors too. We have used Pinellas tree service for years while in several houses here in Clearwater and have always been thrilled with their work and in their professionalism.

So yesterday, January 20, 2025 was rainy and cold but not a single grumble from any of the crew. We almost had to postpone the job but the weather cleared enough to get the tree down safely and expeditiously.

I have worked in the Florida greens industry myself for over 25 years and just marveled at the efficient job these guys did, seamlessly bringing one large branch down to the crew which then cut everything down and off to the side in time to receive another branch. Wash, rinse, repeat.

The guys were sweet to my mother and her furry canine buddy too. It's obvious they love the dogs!
