This company did an estimate of our patio about a month ago. We told them our budget, and they sent us an estimate that was slightly over our budget but we were still ok with it and willing to work with them. After a week we were told that they messed up on the estimate and they resend us another estimate that is 4K higher than the previous estimate. We tried to ask the reason for it and they claimed it’s due to wrong measurement which does not make sense. Then one week later after the 2nd estimate, they send us a 3rd estimate which was another 4K higher, this time they claimed it is due to Covid and price of materials went up. The price went up by a total of an additional 8k in 2 weeks from the original estimate 2 weeks prior. We had to back out, and will still shop around with other companies. Definitely seems a little fishy and untrustworthy. Ps. We did not change the material, square footage or did any upgrade, and prices still went up.

Nice plants but sad customer service. No one acknowledged me. Also, they don't even have the soil I need when it said online they have it here. :/ Guess I should've called before wasting my time driving down here. The owners should also update their site so it doesn't show you sell the soil at your store because you don't :////

The company is very professional and I give them Aplus for customer service they stay on top of everything and bend over backwards from the owner to the office staff. I would strongly recommend them to improve your 🏡. We all love our new pergola in our community and we cannot wait to decorate it for the holidays...

We signed a contract with the company for a patio covering project and paid $7835.00 deposit on Nov 19, 2021. After paying the deposit, we contacted them for many times, but the company did not start the project. After half a year, we requested refund and the company agreed to full refund. Almost a year, we received nothing from them and now they stop responding to our communications.

Thank you so much for answering so many of my "newbie" questions. You all where such a big help. And the organic magic super food Terra Nova sells is by far the best one I've tried, my plants absolutely love it!! Thanks again and I'll be back soon!!

Great selection of plants! Absolutely love the monsteras and buttonwood I got. And alanah was super helpful with helping me pick out all the plants for my patio. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful property to walk around and just admire. some of the prices are high but if you ask for the misfit plant collection they have in back you can get great plants for good prices and a selection that you will find nowhere else. The staff are very helpful with information about every plant and what it needs.

My experience with TerraNova was amazing the TerraNova Design team showed up and unfortunately I needed a Pergaloa now like yesterday and they came through with flying colors. The next day I was greeted by the TerraNova workers and they pulled it off. I was in complete amazement it turned out beautiful like it was always there. Cudoz to them. And also I want to Thank not only the design team but how quickly the workers put this up and it turned out perfect, It was difinetly the WOW factor. I highly recommend TerraNova 100% I am difinetly having them back to do more beautifying foresure. Thank You TerraNova I'm one Happy customer it was a wonderful experience.

Shelby is amazing, knowledgeable, kept on budget and made my shopping easy. For $5 arrange the pot , added soil and magic grow. Highly recommend. My mom loved her gift. 10+++ rating.

I was already a customer of the Garden Center and recently had Terra Nova Outdoor Living install a Koi Pond for me.
All I can say is they did a REALLY nice job of installing it. They were very mindful to not trample on the plants that were near there and after they installed the pond, they installed a paver walkway and I really like the way it looks.

About 5 days after the pond install I found 2 turtles probably from a closeby pond sunning themselves by MY pond! I laughed and said " You're welcome! "

I think that I found the communication on the project all the way through to be great! I knew exactly what day and time the crew was coming so I could take time off from work to be there.

I am seriously thinking about expanding to a second pond with a spillway now.

Terranova Outdoor Living is the Disney World of gardening and outdoor living! Immediately stepping out of the vehicle you could smell the flowers. The plants in the garden center are both healthy and well manicured. The toughest decision is determining which beautiful plant or arrangement to purchase. The people are great and the staff was super knowledgeable about the plants they had and they even helped me with an issue with insects. There is not a better place in town! Enjoy the sensory overload! Love this place will defiantly be back.

My husband and I were not the easiest to deal with, as we liked different types of plants (and disliked the ones the other person liked) and had different ideas as to what we wanted. During the project, I texted Mike (owner) on a daily basis with my concerns and he remained responsive and calm throughout. The landscaping looks AMAZING! (Check out the before and after pictures!) I highly, highly recommend Terra Nova!

Our backyard and patio was in desperate need of a makeover to get it out of the 80's. They did a computer design for me with several changes over the course of a couple of weeks. It really helped us decide what would look right for our space. I wasn't able to get that with the other companies that gave me quotes, only sketches. We are very glad that we went with Mike and his team. And we love the compliments from our friends and family! Thank you!

This is a lovely nursery to wander around and it has a wide range of beautiful and well cared for plants. The Master Gardener Susan is so knowledgeable, friendly and kind. If you have any questions she's more than happy to help. I went there for a gift for a friend and ended up walking out with a few extra plants for myself. 10/10 would recommend.

I love this place! The owner rocks and knows me well. I have bought a ton of plants from here and some have died...HUH? Then they come back stronger year after year. The milled I bought has started producing babies. Unlike plants, I buy from other vendors that die and never come back, the plants I have bought from Terra Nova come back stronger and beautiful!

My experience with Terra Nova Landscaping was great!! Mike Linn (Owner), Susan (Designer) and Mikala (Operations Mgr.) were the best! They were knowledgeable about the plants and worked well with me on my landscaping design both to fulfill my desires and suggest options where I was not exactly sure what to do. Their focus was to make sure I was happy and that is what they did. We had a couple of small issues to work through but they were quick to respond and glad to take care of my needs! My landscaping is beautiful and exceeded my expectations! I felt they were reasonably priced as well. I would recommend this company to anyone wanting to improve the aesthetics of their home. It was a true pleasure to work with such nice people!

BEWARE…I am a very dissatisfied customer. This co. holds no GC. LICENSE They use other companies license. Very fraudulent. They used another company to pretend they have a contractor license.
They also use a co. Real estate makeover.
Not real.
They left the job unfinished and have been paid 90% they have failed multiple inspections
And pasco county Florida inspector has failed them also.
They have left a job over three weeks ago with minimal communication, except for the following line “Thank you for letting us know. We will get back to you as soon as possible.”
I’ve spoken with two of the owners, both very unreliable both of them speak exactly opposite of each other. They have no employees but one and they say they have many. They also say they’ve been doing this for 40 years and not one sub that came through to my house has continued to work for them, some subs were not paid, and I had to take it out of my own pocket to compensate the subcontractors for nonpayment.
this contractor caused sufficient damage and left me hanging with an unfinished job on my property worth over $100,000
I will be filing complaints with the departments and agencies that are necessary, and I am filing a suit for damages on my property I would never Use this company. I am in the middle of a civil and a criminal suit at this time. 7/02/25

We had our backyard done by Terra Nova about 2 years ago and the final result looked good. We went to get our back porch turned into a sunroom and when another company went to go pull permits we found out that Terra Nova pulled zero permits to do any of the work to our backyard, therefore putting a violation against our house by the city. Our house is built on 49% of our lot, meaning that ANYTHING we do to our house had to include a surface retention pond by the city of Tampa, which is about $30k. Terra Nova never mentioned permits and has refused to work with us to correct this problem. They have ignored us and the city has told us that we basically got screwed by them and should report them to the BBB. We are now in a position where we have to either pay to demo everything in our backyard to remove the violation or pay to add the surface retention pond. We spent $40k with this company already to have our backyard done initially!! Go with a company who will do this the right way and not cut corners!! And then not work with you to correct the problem that they created!!!

I highly recommend TerraNova. I had a nascent idea of what I wanted, and they effectively turned my vision into a paradise. Their knowledge of edible plants and where to source them was exceptional. They presented multiple options with pros and cons, so I could grow a garden with minimal maintenance. If you’re not 100% sure on what you want to do, listen to their advice. They will steer your project to a beautiful result. Their prices are competitive, but if you are comparing quotes, they are worth a premium. I would pay an extra 15% for their communication skills, artistic design, accurate deadlines, and competence.

Beautiful plants with a large variety, plentiful pottery options and willing people to help answer your questions. A must visit over the big box stores!
