Empowered Electrical Services came out and installed a brand new electric panel and upgraded our capacity for an electric generator in the event of power loss during hurricane season. Billy and his crew were very helpful and generous with explaining everything.

Billy and his team are amazing!! You won’t find better work and communication. They installed electrical wiring from the house to garage since our breaker was not in the garage for our EV. Even after the install was complete, Billy came back to help mount the charger days later. I could not be any happier with this entire process and team. If you need anything electrical then look no further.

Excellent communication and outstanding service. This was a very challenging job that required running exterior conduit and wiring down the side of the house, then back up to enter the home and route it between floor joists to reach a centrally located kitchen for a 220-volt outlet. The two technicians worked hard all day and maintained a great sense of humor despite the difficulty of the task. They also installed a whole-home surge protector on the exterior panel, which provides peace of mind with storm season approaching. Highly recommended—I will definitely use them again.

My electric went out yesterday I called Duke co. thinking they would fix
the problem (wrong). I waited all day, no electricity,finally, I called again because it’s getting dark!! By the way I’m in my seventies and live with my cat the only family I have is a daughter who works in Illinois.After going all night with no electricity I call Duke again! I was told that the problem is on outside and there’s nothing they can do. Their advice was get an electrician!! Called my daughter again told her and within 10 minutes she found this company. They were here within an hour and knew exactly what to do, how long it would take, and what the charge would be. They explained everything not only to me but also to my daughter who lives across the country! Everything turned out greatI just want to thank Johnathan, Billy, and Brian. I love this company and if you need services right away call them. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. you will not be disappointed. Also, it’s a family run business! Very pleased with my experience with Empowered Electrical Service! The receptionist was very kind, helpful, and was able to get me onto the schedule that day. I was having problems with our home electrical panel. Some of the breakers were heating up, very unsafe. Billy came out shortly after I called and took care of the whole situation. He even found other breakers not properly installed, which would lead to more problems. 1-2 hours later the power was back on and everything working properly. Very impressed with this company and will be working with them again for any electrical needs. Thanks guys!

Had a few electrical issues that came up suddenly. Reached out to Empowered Electrical and they got us scheduled quickly. Trenton came out within the time frame quoted. He explained the process in which he was going to evaluate everything and went straight to work. He was pleasant and kept us up to date as he worked. He even took the time to explain things and give a little history on older electrical processes (our house is older). He didn't just do the work, he took the time to offer us education and information, which as a homeowner is valuable. A genuinely pleasant and honest person. We are happy we used Empowered Electrical and it was very nice meeting Trenton. Will absolutely use them again for future needs.

What an amazing job! Empowered electric takes such pride in the detail of work that they do. We had new lights installed inside our glass cabinets in kitchen and under cabinet lights as well. The owner was so polite and friendly and made sure that we were pleased with the job once finished. We will definitely be using this company for any future projects we have. The team at Empowered made this process seamless from start to finish, from the first phone call to the completion of our project. They were timely, communicated effectively, professional, friendly, and competitively priced. They had no problem coming out to our house (several times) to discuss our project to make sure we were comfortable with everything before committing. They installed an EV Charger in our garage, gave us four outdoor outlets for our patio, hung an outdoor tv, and provided us full home surge protection. I wanted to have dusk to dawn lights on my garage and front entrance way. Who should I call ? I picked Empowered Electrical Service. Glad I did!

Everyone I've been in contact with, from this company, has been very helpful and knowledgeable. From my first call, when Brandy sent Alex out for a free estimate and he provided helpful information about size and placement of the lights. To scheduling the installation, where Alex and Juan did a great job. They were on time, communicated well and were respectful of my property. The lights look great and provide the amount of light I was looking for.
I'm happy to now have an electrical company, I trust, to call on when I need something. I'll definitely recommend Empowered Electrical to neighbors and family.

Very responsive and friendly. They installed a new ceiling fan in a room that had no overhead lighting fixture and installed a new motion light over the driveway. Everything was handled quickly, efficiently, and I was billed exactly what was quoted. I will definitely be using again.

Billy and Empowered Electrical took this project from concept to completion.

Entire home TRI-FUEL generator, runs on gas, propane and natural gas.

For us will be using (if necessary)
natural gas. Since we already have natural gas at our home.

Billy personally coordinated with the HVAC (Edge Air-conditioning) to have them install a "soft start" (evidently this is important). Next he coordinated with Horizon West Plumbing & Gas to handle the gas line portion of the project.

But, back to Empowered Electrical.
ON TIME, PROFESSIONALLY dressed, 3 crew members. They unboxed the generator and assembled it. Put in a new power inlet (I am sure it has an actual name), re-configured the external panel, installed safety switch. Added 3 surge protectors (to defeat lightning strikes). One on the outside A/C unit, 1 on the exterior electrical panel, and 1 on the interior electrical panel. They brought the oil for the generator. Oh yeah, Billy researched and purchased us the best generator for the job. Numerous phone calls to industry leaders.
Permits were pulled and inspections scheduled (for all work).
The savings of going with a "portable unit" versus a permanent unit was OVER $6500. It would be even more if you went with a dual fuel unit.

Lastly, (seriously who does this)? Since I am a "First Class Pass" member of Empowered Electrical. Billy stopped on his way to my home and got me a latte (sugar free of course).

My home was struck by lightning. To say the least I was overwhelmed by the idea of the electrical damage. I called Empowered Electric and had an appointment quickly scheduled. The technician Alex did a thorough inspection and walked me through the various options of repair to fix the damage. He started working right away and kept me informed of any issues along the way. Nine long hours of hard work labor the repairs were completed, including new surge protectors!

The relief knowing the damage was repaired and protected in the future is priceless.

I had an outstanding experience with Empowered Electrical Services. I had two new breakers installed, three outlets added, and a whole-house surge protector. Tony came out during a very busy holiday week to provide a quote, and he was incredibly thorough, transparent, and fair with pricing. He took the time to explain everything in detail, answered all of my questions without ever making me feel rushed, and updated the quote to include specific details I asked about. His professionalism and attention to detail immediately gave me confidence in the company.
The following week, Trenton and Brian came out to complete the work, and they were absolutely fantastic. Before starting, they carefully walked me through the entire plan, explained what they were doing and why, and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Tony also stopped by again to walk through the project with both the team and me, which really showed how much they value communication and doing the job right.

Billy with Empower Electric was sent out to help us with a difficult situation by a restoration company that had asked to plug in to our exterior outlet to run some fans for our neighbor, who had had a fire in their house. It was only supposed to be for a couple of days, but on day 10 my the restoration equipment blew the fuse (so they thought), but my husband noticed that the extension cord the restoration company was using was very hot and the cord was damaged and had in-turn damaged our outlet making it a potential fire hazard situation.

Brandy kindly called to schedule a convenient time to send somebody out and then confirmed the time both the day before and the day of.
Billy arrived with a friendly and professional demeanor and inspected the damaged outlet as well as the pictures I had taken of the cord at the time. He confirmed that not only was our exterior outlet damaged but the connection to the internal GFI inside our lanai was also damaged due to the amount of voltage being ran through the cord. He kindly contacted the restoration company and confirmed that there was damage to our outlets caused by their equipment running for so long and at such a high voltage for the size of cord being used. The restoration company covered the cost for Billy to fix both outlets the same day, ensuring that we no longer faced any kind of fire hazard/damage ourselves.
The prompt, professional and friendly service provided by Billy with Empowered Electric was a welcome relief to a stressful situation.
