Unlike most contractors in South Florida you provide the customer with a timeline and you stick to it! One home designed and constructed a project to replace the cabinetry lighting and mirrors in two of my bathrooms. The bathrooms had drop down plastic ceilings with old style fluorescent lights. The project was quickly designed and constructed in a bit more than a week. This included updating both electrical and plumbing configurations. I am so pleased I could dance in the street. The cabinets and countertops are first rate. The work was done neatly and they cleaned up each day. I feel the price was extremely reasonable. I give them 6 out of 5 stars. As I keep updating my house I will go back to them.

From the very beginning of walking through the door of this business until they left on the last day of the job was nothing short of complete professionalism. We were kept up to date every step of the way, or if they were running late (weather related). Stephanie and Jefferson were such pleasures to work with. One Home and Decor are pleasant, respectful, and clean workers. I don’t know how they perform with other clients, but they dropped the ball on me on several occasions. They are never on time; the girl in the office calls to tell me they are on their way and should be at my place in less than one hours, but they show up 2-3 hours later. But they expect the 2nd and last deposit to be paid on time. Also, the office scheduler say they would be at my home one day mid-morning, but they don’t show up that day at all. Only at the end of the afternoons, I call their office for status only to get excuses that they had to jump on an other job. They replied that they will be there the next day, but to get the same treatment and excuses. They rescheduled for the next day or one week later. They did me 4 times that way not considering if my time was important at all, except theirs.

But the most irritating upset of it all is that they did not finish the job correctly the first time - that could have easily been avoided, but the business owner, Jefferson, participated in the installation but he left an installer behind to finish up, obviously with little experience and unsupervised, to go to another job. And he finished the job sloppy.

The bathroom was installed flawlessly as was 80% of the kitchen cabinets, but the installer messed up quite obviously around the refrigerator. I deemed the work not acceptable. Jefferson agreed with me (without an attitude) to fix the problems. He ordered new panels and repositioned an entire cabinet box to make it right.

They are a a very young kitchen and bathroom business and are expanding - perhaps too fast taking on more business than they can handle. However, I must give them credit for taking responsibility for their mistakes without a lip.

I highly recommend One Home & Decor for a complete kitchen remodel. Jeferson Urbina is extremely detail oriented, and he truly enjoys his work. From the initial design to completion, all the work was done professionally.
