I recently had brand new duct work installed in my crawl space by AAA Modern Air, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the initial quote to the final cleanup, the entire team was professional, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. Not to mention, they were EXTREMELY reasonable compared to some other companies that are trying to price gouge.

Angelo provided the quote and was exceptional throughout the process. He took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly and delivered a detailed, transparent quote that made me feel confident moving forward.

The installation was handled by Tim and Roberto, who showed up right on time and did outstanding work. They were respectful of my home, cleaned up everything when they were finished, and the new duct work looks excellent—clearly high-quality craftsmanship. On top of that, they were incredibly patient and kind when my dad jumped in with all of his "dad questions" during the install.

AAA Modern Air's service was deeply disappointing. Over a year ago, they installed my AC unit but neglected to include a T for drain maintenance, causing a complete failure two months after the missed annual inspection. When I called, the manager promised to check if the T was missing and fix it but failed to mention a $245 charge for the float switch installation. The technician didn't call before arriving, as promised, and was unprofessional-not introducing himself and spending time on a call outside. After fixing the unit without discussing costs, he became hostile, nearly cursing me out when I questioned the charge, insinuating he knew about the missing T all along, making me feel they were trying to unjustly charge me $245. He even mumbled under his breath about returning to remove the float switch, which felt threatening. This lack of communication and rudeness left me feeling disrespected. I urge management to address these issues and make this right.

Although Mike was a little bit later than originally planned, he did a great job fixing my heating system and replacing my broken thermostat. He worked quickly, cleanly and got my heat working. I never expected to need heat in SoFlo but this week has been brutal.

As always, the technicians at AAA Modern Air who have serviced my AC (most recently) Daniel Letson, have done a great job and have always provided me with valuable info. They always arrive on time, get to work right away and finish in no time at all. KUDOs for continuing to provide professional service.

Had problems keeping house warm during cold spell. Michael, the assigned technician. came promptly at the scheduled time, found aproblem in the water evacuation line which he fixed. He thoroughly explained the problem and gave me an excellent tip on how to save a lot of money on my heating bill by keeping the thermostat at 73, rather than the 76 I had programmed. Also fixed a problem I had with the ceiling filter box that he had to reattach. I've been using this company for decades and I highly recommend them for their exceptional service.

Jed was our master repair man and he did a fantastic service for us. He works as quickly as possible and with extreme focus. He is truly knowledgeable and explained everything to us too so we understood the whole mechanism of the air conditioning unit and the various wires, fuses, etc. That was really appreciated because it's great to learn everything you can about your home. It saves you time and money for the future. We are extremely grateful to have the service contract. The parts are not covered, Jed has no control over that, and I think they are unnecessarily more expensive than just a "mark-up". I'd speak with the owner of the company about that personally. But Jed is a star, with a great sense of humor. And he did such a great job, we probably won't see him again for a long time.

We purchased a service contract with AAA and this was our first scheduled appt. We were notified by the company when the tech was on his way. Kaden was super friendly and took the time to explain what he would be doing and answered all our questions. We had AAA move our handler and install all new ductwork a little over a year ago and were very pleased with their level of communication and quality of service. Couldn't recommend them enough!

Extremely Disappointed – Unprofessional and Costly Mistake
I had AAA Modern Air perform maintenance on my AC unit in September 2025, and ever since, my home has experienced serious electrical issues—power flickering, the AC turning on and off, and the heater not working at all. Initially, I assumed it was a power issue, so I hired a licensed electrician to inspect the system. To my shock, he discovered that components were missing from the AC unit and that the wiring had been done incorrectly. These issues only became apparent when the heating element was activated, which the electrician confirmed was not connected properly.
This was not a minor oversight—it was a major error that cost me $550 out of pocket to diagnose and begin to fix. When I reached out to AAA Modern Air, their response was dismissive. Rather than taking accountability, they deflected blame and refused to offer any reimbursement, despite the clear evidence that the problems began immediately after their service.
I expected professionalism and integrity, but instead, I’m left with a damaged system, a hefty repair bill, and zero support from the company responsible. I would not recommend AAA Modern Air to anyone looking for reliable or honest HVAC service.
