What a class act! I was very impressed with the quality of work, and specifically, with the knowledge and professionalism of the owner, Mr. Morales. They completed the work in a timely, clean and efficient manner... I would definitely recommend them in the future.

South Coast Electric is a morally reprehensible company. They purchased over $15k in material from my company paying half up front, and the remainder on credit. And now they refuse to pay the 2nd half of the payment. They have stopped answering our calls and emails. As a consumer myself, I would think twice about doing business with a company with these business practices.

Before I start, let me tell you that I have an electrical engineering degree from one of the best engineering university in the world. For remodeling the kitchen (in my house that was built in 1957) I needed significant electrical work. I will write a detailed report, but if you don't want to read the details here is a one sentence evaluation. South Coast Electrical did an excellent high-quality job a great price (I got four quotes).

I personally watched every bit of their work. The owner has extensive electrical work experience and Florida State Certified. They have my strongest recommendation.

They took payment after the final inspection passed. I could not except anything more. They were present during inspection of the work.

Below is a description of the work that was done.
1. Two existing circuits were upgraded.
2. FOUR new circuits were added.
3. Three dual power outlets were upgraded.
4. Four new dual power outlets were installed.
5.The power outlet for electrical range was relocated
6. Six new recessed lights were installed to replace old tube lights
The list above clearly shows that they did an wide range of electrical work.

Purchased a Gem car T5 controller advertised as functional from his Ebay store. It was damaged physically and had burnt electrical components inside when recieved. Contacted immediately. Seller first said he would replace or refund. Seller then said he wanted to split the cost of $600 to repair an item that he sold me for $587.13 Seller then said he would issue a return label and give a full refund but never followed through. Seller has dodged us for nearly 2 months. Hate to leave negative feedback but he gave us no choice
