After trying four times (too many) to have a Water Heater Guy (Broward County) representative come out to my house to install a new hot water heater, I gave up. Their communication and follow-up was horrendous. I finally took my business and went elsewhere. If they can't even follow-up with someone who is a brand new customer, we should have zero faith they'd follow-up once we are an established client.

This review has nothing to do with their actual skill set of installing or maintaining hot water heaters. The one star is for them not caring about their potential customers.

I woke up to no hot water and my water heater was past its useful life. I called the Water Heater Guy first thing in the morning and everything was done on the same day. They called me 30 min prior to announce arrival. Miguel, the tech, was amazing. He was really accommodating, fast and efficient. He replaced my old heater with a new one and now I'm a happy camper. Thank you so much, Water Hester Guy!

The Water Heater Guy was fantastic. Texted pictures of hot water heater and piping. Was given a quote in less than 15 minutes. They came right out and was finished on time and on budget! Would definitely use them again

The water heater guy did a great job installing my new water heater. It works great! And they showed up on time, worked quickly and were very courteous. I won't use a regular plumber for water heaters again.

I asked for an estimate and they told me to send a photo of our tankless water heater to make sure that they will give us a good estimate based on the picture I sent. They answered me back and said “we are not doing thankless heaters installations at the moment “ Why did they waste my time making me take pictures and texting them to them! They should’ve be honest from the very beginning and say that they don’t do thankless heaters installations. This business has a huge lack of respect for their customers and I cannot trust business like this one to do a project for me or anyone. My advice to you: “ be honest and At from with your future customers “

This was the easiest service. We called sunday, sent pictures of our water heater...received a quote. They came tuesday with the new water heater, installed it. The service provider was nice, kept the area clean and it was fast. There was no upselling or "surprise" costs. Definitely would recommend them to anyone.

Worker came late, uncovered the tankless water heater and didn’t put it back on. He was extremely rude on the phone and raised his voice. Very unprofessional way to speak to a young lady. Will never recommend their services and will share experience with my neighbors and my community.

5 Star experience using The Water Heater Guy company from first inquiry to text message response by Iris with competitive pricing and recommendations on best type of installation.The technician Miguel arrived on time and expertly completed the installation in less than 1 hours. I would highly recommend this company without resevation.

I wasted too much time shopping different plumbers for a new hot water heater.. Stop, don't bother shopping just have these guys do the job. They actually came a little earlier and did a great job for a reasonable price. Clean, neat, professional and and personable.

DO NOT USE!!! I have no idea how this company that lacks ANY customer service has decent reviews. Make sure to read the poor reviews before calling. I called first thing in the morning and before I even explained my question he interrupted me and said to call Roto Rooter unless I planned to install a whole new unit. Roto Rooter came out and said it was indeed the water heater that needed evaluation, and not a drainage issue, so I called back and spoke with the same guy. He became aggressive and said he never told me to call Roto Rooter and that if I wanted a new water heater he was "busy until next week, to send my address and photos" for him to create a quote and to make sure I intended to replace the unit as he wasn't coming if I wasn't doing a full replacement -- in an exceptionally aggressive tone. As if my calling was an inconvenience as opposed to trying to give him business & money. I realize all construction/home repair companies are busy right now but these people are terribly rude and lack any semblance of customer service. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

So glad I called Water Heater Guy. The appointment was easy to make. Love the idea of taking a photo of old unit, so there are no mistakes made. Our Technician was very polite, very neat and did a great job. I made a mistake on the payment and my mistake was caught by Donna who corrected it immediately. Thank you All. PAINLESS! By sending a few photos via text, we were able to get a quote and schedule our appointment. just 2 days later as planned the hot water tank was installed in just under an hour! Quality products installed, polite and clean. THANK YOU.

Overall the installation of the new water heater I purchased separately appears to be in working condition a day after install. They were prompt and came within the two hour window of time they told me. The gentleman who installed it was courteous and neat. My only concern was the cost of installation at $407 for one hour work and use of PVC vs. copper. In addition, I was told that none of the work they did was under warranty because I did not want a new water cut off valve installed. They claimed it was corroded from the picture I sent but it is normal for copper to turn green after many years. The cut off valve is in perfect working condition and I wasn't going to pay them $55 for a new cut off valve that didn't need to be replaced. It's a ridiculous up-charge as these valves cost no more than $10 at Home Depot. Excusing themselves from the other plumbing they did install is nothing short of illogical. Be sure to do your homework before you hire anyone to replace your water heater.

Happy I used the water heater guy, saved alot of money and got great service. I received an estimate from the company that services my A/C and there was no comparison. Obtaining an estimate couldn't be any easier either, as all I had to do was snap a few pictures of my water heater and I received an accurate estimate for replacement. Installation was quick and couldn't be any happier.

The Water Heater Guy was extremely responsive, I text them on Sunday evening and sent pictures of my unit and they were able to give me a quote. Once we agreed on the service I was able to get an appointment to replace the tankless water heater the next day! The technician was on time for the appointment and completed the job in less time than quoted. Great service and communications!

Great company to work with, punctual, transparent from the get-go, I was never surprised with unexpected charges. My heater replacement was an emergency (leaking water significantly), I called 5 PM, they scheduled the next day 12-2 PM window. They quote you once you send the pictures. After the first initial call, everything is done via text messages, even any questions that you have (I had some).

Technician came on time (earlier, even), very cordial and patient (I had some more questions), did his job in about 1h. Very calm and confident, installation went well and everything seems to be working perfectly. Let's now wait for the test of time.

Company was very straightforward with their quote. The best thing this company has going for it is that they do their quotes through text messaging, which is very convenient for people who have a busy schedule. As for the installation, it went very well. The plumber was very knowledgeable and courteous during the installation. Very happy customer.

Excellent work. They text you about 30 minutes ahead of their arrival which was very nice. Since I was concerned with the space. They brought two water heaters a 40 gallon and a 50 gallon. The 40 was the one that fit. I had no issues what so ever with this company. Jose was knowledgeable, easy to understand and did a great job! Would definitely recommend.
