Was celebrating my birthday today! I found out about this place because one of my coworkers roommates work here and was so excited to check it out. So many amazing plants that I’ve never seen before. I spent 40 something dollars on 6 different plants, and a rectangular planter pot. So much variety here and I can’t wait to go back. Seriously an amazing way to treat myself on my bday❤️🌿🌱

Alyx was so helpful, knowledgeable, and kind! We wanted something special to celebrate the birth of our son, and she helped us pick the perfect olive tree and taught us how to care for it. Thanks so much!!

Never had any issues purchasing plants here, as well as soil and fertilizer. My parents showed me this place while I was growing up in estero, and now I go here for all my garden needs. All my plants have grown quickly and are all very healthy! They attract butterflies, bees, and all sorts of bugs. Even the birds enjoy my garden. I am part of the rewards program and they always let me know when I have a reward to use. They have a beautiful selection of plants and a well educated and caring staff. Thank you driftwood for making my garden possible with the variety of plants grown at your nursery!

Great selections, attentive staff. Staff available of you have questions but also give you space to shop around and make selections. Clean. Well cared for inventory. Trending plants as well as seasonal selections. Good stock of gardening supplies, fertilizer, insecticides. Nice selection of pots.

Wide selection of everything! If you are like me and looking for colorful options and didn't want to shop big box stores, this is the place!!! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful too!! Prices are very affordable and you can tell they take care of the plant life 😊 I'm going back today for more!

Last Saturday, I called The Garden Place to inquire about purchasing succulents in bulk. I spoke with a woman who confirmed they offered various types of succulents but they do not sell them in bulk. She mentioned it was their reopening weekend and they were running a special promotion: 20% off, with an additional discount if you spent $50 or more. I asked if the offer was valid only on Saturday, and she said it also applied to Sunday. When I asked what time they opened on Sunday, she said 10 AM.

I arrived around 10:15 AM on Sunday, and a young woman assisted me in finding the succulent plants I wanted. I also picked up some bags of soil and fertilizer before heading to the checkout. My total came to over $260, so I asked for the 20% discount, reminding her it was the reopening weekend. She told me the discount was only valid on Saturday. I explained that I had spoken to a woman on Saturday who said the deal was for the entire weekend and that the store was open on Sunday, which was why I came. Had I known the discount was not available, I would have come on Saturday instead.

I drove over 55 minutes to get there and asked if I could speak to a manager. She said she was one of the managers. I told her this was unfair—that I had driven 55 miles specifically to make these purchases—and asked if she was okay with me leaving without buying. She said yes, so I left. The woman at the register showed no customer service skills, allowing a customer to walk away after spending that much. I can only imagine how many others might have done the same. For a reopening event, having her at the register could end up driving customers away.

This place had a great selection of plants. I went home with I think 10 and a pot and a cute little plant stake decoration thing. I don't know I had to have it. Anyways this place is great for all your plants needs, the prices were great, and the staff was friendly, informative and helpful. Only down side - it is almost an hour drive for me. Or maybe that's a good thing cause otherwised I'd go broke.

Will be back because of Susan! She was very knowledgeable and friendly. She treated us like family and had great customer service. Some of the best in SW Florida. I would trust her with all of my garden needs and the store had great selection.

You must fill out a form to register your information with them to build their client base. Name, address, phone and email. It's done once. Takes two seconds then on your next visit thereafter you just give phone number. Similar to rewards system.
Be leary of purchasing purple 💜 passion ivy. I bought one. It was loaded with baby caterpillars that destroyed the entire plant within a week. My burgundy one is doing well.
