I am so totally pleased with the work and workmanship of Coastal Current. They are real people that truthfully tell you what the problem is and how to resolve it. I am so glad to have chosen Coastal Current and will put my trust into their work again.

Lisa in the office is maybe the nicest person ever. Called on Monday, set a Wednesday appointment, got a call a couple hours later that they had an opening Monday afternoon. Two young guys came out, fixed everything easily and were super chill. Will always use them for electrical work in the future

Danny, Adam and Mike did a wonderful job this morning! They installed switched outlets, fans and a wall light in the hallway. They even cleaned up the debris before leaving. Thank you to all three men and Ashley getting me on the schedule quickly. Highly recommend Coastal Current Electric!

I replaced the outlet, checked the circuit breaker and no joy. That was the extent of my electrical skill. I called coastal current. Rick (If my memory is correct) called to let me know he was on the way. He did his investigation, located the problem ,explained it to me and then fixed it. From the phone call to set up the appointment to the repair to the invoice in my email it all went smooth, professional and friendly. I felt the cost was spot on. These guys are the best to hire for your electrical problems. I hired them after their estimate came in at 40% of another local company. I was so shocked at the difference, I went over the details again with them to make sure we were talking about the same job. They were and they did a great job plus fixed some other things that were plaguing me for about two years. They were very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I recommend these guys 100 percent!

Rick is an experienced professional capable of fixing any electrical issue. We gave him a mixed bag of things we needed done. After a clear explanation of best options, the completed work was done perfectly. We have used Coastal Current several times, for smaller fix-it type help and for a major overhaul of our new house, putting in new lights and switches and changing out almost all of the fixtures for us. Every experience with them has been excellent: scheduling and customer service, quotes and responsiveness, and then of course the actual work and result! Can’t recommend them highly enough for any electrical work you need done.

Both times we have used Coastal Current we have been very satisfied. They are on the island . The electricians are professional, knowledgeable and responsive to your questions and ideas. Lisa, the office manager, tries very hard to get to you when needed. She keeps a list of "call if there is a cancellation" and calls ASAP if one opens up. Good folks. Don't hesitate to use them.

I was delighted with the work done by David and his sidekick Mitchell. They were professional, prompt and knowledgeable. They knew exactly what was required to convert a previously (incorrectly) installed island fixture back to a can light. David needed to crawl up into my attic while it was HOT outside. He was able to locate the connection and rewire a new can light in its place. They also installed my new contemporary chandelier hung on cables on a 12 ft high ceiling. Great experience and I am already planning to use Coastal Current for my next install.

Excellent company and highly recommend. Compliments to Lisa and Leigh for coordinating the assignment and billing. A welcoming office environment and very professional. Chris and Brian were punctual and efficient. In fact, they exceeded my expectations on the install design and prior to leaving, ensured that I was knowledgeable about the operation. Very pleased with this company. From Lisa to the estimator to the electrician’s Brian and Colby everyone was very personable and professional. Even had a small mishap and the owner Steve called immediately to tell me they would make everything right. It was only a small issue and they took care of it. That level of performance is hard to find and very much appreciated. I will definitely use again.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They kept me informed as to when they would arrive and were right on time. The electrician knew his "stuff" and fixed my problem rapidly explaining what probably happened and what he was doing.

I highly recommend Coastal Current. I needed the exterior utility boxes repaired and a switch inside the house done. Logan and his assistants did a great job. They were on time and answered any questions. I will definitely have them do all my electrical work from now on. It was a pleasure dealing with both Steve (estimate) and Lisa the office manager.

Trash drivers. If you’re gonna put a Logo on a work vehicle, your driver should respect the road.

edit - This took place on 200 coming into Fernandina when your driver was in the right hand lane of the three lanes, trying to speed pass everybody to cut into the two lanes of travel

I've had them do work at our house twice, including adding ceiling fans, installing outdoor lighting, adding outlets, troubleshooting inoperative lights, and tracing a switch that seemed to do nothing. Both times they were on time, professional, and efficient. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend Coastal Current. Lukas and Brandon were prompt, courteous, and professional. They installed two electrical outlets on a 10 foot high shelf and had to troubleshoot an issue which they did with success. They cleaned up and would not leave until they knew the smart plugs were working and I was satisfied. They are my new electricians from now on!

One thing that I absolutely love about local businesses is the importance stressed on treating clients with such a personal approach. My family just relocated from Chicago to the area, and there was an emergency power outage that had occured at our family home. After initial contact, Leslie, with Johnny's electric, had called me and gave me a step by step update in real time, as to when the technician could arrive, what the diagnosis was, and lastly; confirmation that everything had been resolved. I work in a service based industry, and I take my reviews seriously. Johnny's Electric was impressive, and really made me feel as if we were important. We will be using them for any and all of our future needs. Definitely A-1 service, from their technicians, to their internal staff. Thank you for all of your help!

I've used Johnny's for many years and have always been pleased. In the past month I've used them twice. One was an emergency. Johnny's responded immediately and Brian was on site in a few hours to identify and resolve the issue. Most recently they were able to fit me in before my scheduled appointment. They are my 'go to' electrician.

We recently used Johnny's for the second time. The first was a septic pump electric issue. Recently we had a 220V line installed. Both times the personnel were knowledgeable and courteous. On the line installation, estimator Brian was thorough and gave us a timely estimate. Although it took some time to get the installation scheduled (COVID issues, although we were not under a time constraint), installers Rodney and Melvin were fabulous. They were knowledgeable and thorough and worked consistently around the rain showers in the area. The end result was very professional. I found the price to be fair for the amount of work required. I would highly recommend Johnny's for your electrical needs.
