How do you rate a company whose installers clearly know how to cut an angle but install all the crown molding upside down? Recently had crown installed in another room & the contractor asked if I wanted it installed upside down like the living room. I will admit I hadn’t realized, but shouldn’t the craftsman from Cornerstone who installed it? My work by Cornerstone isn’t recent & wasn’t a great experience but here I am several years later with just one more thing…

We are very glad we chose Cornerstone for our kitchen and bath projects. Jennifer, our designer, was so helpful and professional. Angel, as the lead, was a pleasure to work with. Friendly but diligent, and also very professional. Every employee that entered our home was great at their jobs and was pleasant, efficient, and courteous. I can't say enough good things about Cornerstone employees. It's been a few weeks since our job was completed and I regret that I cannot remember more names to compliment them. We love the way our kitchen and bathroom look and appreciate Cornerstone's customer service and commitment to quality.

We had an excellent experience refacing our kitchen cabinets with Cornerstone. Rosman and Victor our installers were very professional and cleaned everything up. Will definitely recommend.

I recently had my kitchen renovated by Cornerstone Builders, and the experience was nothing short of fantastic! From start to finish, the entire process was smooth and exceeded my expectations. The Project Manager, Buryl, was actively involved throughout the project and maintained excellent communication with us every step of the way. Their suggestions for the renovation were spot-on and really helped bring our vision to life.

One of the most impressive aspects was how the project ran ahead of schedule, without sacrificing quality. The workers were not only professional but also kept the workspace clean, making sure to tidy up after themselves each day. It was clear that customer satisfaction was a top priority, and the customer service we received was exceptional.

The craftsmanship and attention to detail were top-notch, and we couldn't be happier with the final result. I highly recommend Cornerstone Builders to anyone looking for high-quality work with zero stress or challenges. A truly professional team that delivers on all fronts!

Cornerstone did an AMAZING job on my kitchen remodel!! Working with them was a pleasure. They were punctual, cleaned up the work area every day, were respectful of my home, and were great people to work with. They are talented and truly cared about the quality/integrity of their work. Big shout-out to Brad Branson, our designer. After our first initial meeting with him, we knew Cornerstone was our choice. Our project manager, Chris Cruz, was great and the entire crew was top-notch. Plus, they were true to their timeline for completion. I highly recommend Cornerstone and will be using them again for our master bath remodel. Some say they are expensive - I believe they were priced fairly and worth every penny!!

Cant say enough good things about our Cornerstone experience. Our designer Burl was the best. Prince was a pleasure to work with. Everyone that came to work was on time and very polite and cleaned up everytime. Scheduling called and told you who would be coming and when. My kitchen counters are beautiful! Thank you for a wonderful remodel experience on Sanibel! Our expectations were met in every way. Our team deserves recognition for their fabulous craftsmanship and friendly attitude toward us every day. Tim T was always responsive and a quick problem solver. Thank you Mike J and Jason A for demo, carpentry and framing, Gerardo was so particular and precise on our drywall, Steve B had two of the best painting crews out that we have ever worked with. The tile team lead by Eric was A1. Alfredo for electric and Mike on plumbing rounded out the team making our two baths absolutely beautiful.
Cornerstone communicates well and does what they say they will. We recommend them and will be using them again.

Wayne Phillips, our designer, and Chris Kruz, our project manager did a fantastic job with our kitchen remodeling project. We had a revision in the middle of the project which resulted in a significant change in design and scheduling. Wayne and Chris handled the changes as true professionals and helped us work through the difficult revision process.
All the workmen that we came in contact with were fantastic, courteous and efficient. We cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Cornerstone. We give them 5 stars!!

I had a big vision for my new bathroom. I did my diligence, got three bids, and proceeded. Cornerstone was the only contractor willing to do the job, and did it within my budget. Anyone can throw up some builder's grade nonsense, but if you really want to do something special, you need someone like Cornerstone. The tile work is absolutely incredible.

I am extremely satisfied with my Master Bathroom remodel. Everyone who came into my home was very polite, respectful and helpful. My designers, Peter and Sharleen Mahoney, gave good suggestions for my project and I would highly recommend this awesome couple.

We hired Cornerstone Builders to redo our Kitchen and Bath. It's been 14 months now since signing our contract and the project still isn't complete. It's been nothing but a nightmare dealing with this company. Upper management lies, they promise and don't deliver and their workers which are extremely nice but not craftsmen break things but don't tell you. You have to find it on your own. They chipped the new countertops twice, parked on our sidewalk and cracked it, put in a broken spice rack, put a tennis ball size dent in our brand new refrigerator, and the list goes on and on. Even though it took them 4 times and 6 months to get the cabinet doors installed (wrong size, wrong color, or damaged the first 3 times) The most upsetting is after paying top dollar for a new kitchen, the finished product isn't what we wanted and it is not as it's listed on our contract. Some of the cabinets are the wrong size, island is smaller than it should be, and the crown molding over vent hood is wrong. They forgot to put in fillers so the pantry door which is next to the refrigerator hits the refrigerator every time you need to pull out a drawer. Can't move the refrigerator to the other side because the side panel they installed for the refrigrator on the other side is too short so the refrigerator door hits the countertop when it opens. Some of the paint on side panels has already started to crack after just a couple months. We were told 3 months ago that a new freezer drawer for the refrigerator was ordered to fix the big dent they caused. I decided to call the appliance company on my own yesterday to get an eta and was advised that Cornerstone still hasn't paid for it so it hasn't been ordered yet. Looks like this is a never ending nightmare not to mention they still haven't fixed the cracked sidewalk, still haven't finished the punch list and still haven't come up with a solution for the missing cabinet fillers, wrong cabinet sizes and wrong crown. On a positive note, our designer and property manager have been great and friendly but I believe these issues are out of their control. We cannot say enough positive things about Cornerstone. Maria Dow was a tremendous help in the redo of our kitchen. From the demolition crew to the finishers everyone was very professional and easy to work with. They showed up on time and completed the job on time with no hidden costs!!!Thank you

We are very pleased with our kitchen “refresh” and remodel project. We opted for replacing cabinet doors with new hardware. Susan Thomas, the kitchen consultant, was easy to work with and easily accessible. The project started and finished on time. Jason and Chris, the kitchen crew, did a great job!!!

We had an excellent experience with Cornerstone Builders and our designer Wayne Phillips. Our project was a remodel of our Kitchen. We replaced our countertops with quartz, had our cabinets resurfaced, installed a new backsplash and cut down an existing bump up. Wayne worked with us to pick our desired color scheme and materials that were within our budget. A huge advantage with Cornerstone Builders is that they complete the project from start to finish and coordinate all the subcontractors. We highly recommend Wayne and Cornerstone Builders.

Hired Cornerstone to replace our kitchen, laundry room & windowsills black granite and replace all with gorgeous Dakota "sparkle sand" Quartz....plus remove the overhead drywall horizontal column "soffit" suspended from vaulted ceiling over snack bar.
Job began on time....crew covered every stitch of furniture and accessories in great room with plastic and taped rolls of brown paper covering/protecting our travertine floors....we received calls almost every day from office letting us know what contractors would arrive next day and what time.and entire job completed in 7 business days as promised! Crews cleaned up afterwards daily.
From Salesman Al Kempa who came out initially to hear what we wanted done....to Project Manager Chris Spears-they oversaw every detail of fine quality workmanship. Office ladies called daily and drywall guys were great. Did we pay more than the neighbor who hired joe blow? Yep and our work is complete while the neighbor is now 5 weeks into the job and wondering where their contractors are.
Love Cornerstone and did not want anyone else.

Our shower needed to be more handicap accessible. I called Cornerstone Builders. Designer, Mark Gillispie, came to our house and asked us what we needed and wanted to change, He offered several excellent ideas and choices to solve our issues. Mark is very good at listening and communicating. We were encouraged to call with questions at any time during the project. In fact, the project manager, billing office staff and who ever we communicated with at Cornerstone were all helpful and accommodating. They covered our floors throughout our house where they walked, covered the furniture in the bedroom next to the bathroom being remodeled and cleaned after the shower remodel was complete. The shower looks great and is more stylish and user friendly than before. We are happy to be part of the Cornerstone "go4wow".

Far from WOW. We were extremely disappointed in the lack of communication, lack of attention to detail, and way we were treated during our project. The salesman neglected to communicate to the project manager (Kevin) that our contract included kitchen tile demo. The crew left and then hurriedly came back to do the demo without making adequate preparations to protect the contents of our home, furnishings, clothes, etc.

When the project manager (Kevin) called the salesman, the salesmen told Kevin to leave the tile under our washer/dryer in the kitchen without demo'ing it. Thankfully, Kevin knew that this wasn't the right thing to do.

Because our condo and possessions were not adequately protected during the demo process, my husband and I had to throw out several of our possessions since we couldn't get the dust out of everything (also had to hire an air duct cleaning company to get all the tile demo dust out of our air vents since none of the vents were properly sealed off).

Cornerstone's commercials claim that all cabinets are made in house, yet there was an issue with one of our drawer fronts and we waited over a month for one final drawer front to be installed. When Joe finally came out to install the missing drawer front and fix another one of the drawers that was binding, he wasn’t equipped with the correct drawer pull… and had to make another separate trip.

The electricians installed two new outlets which were crooked and at uneven heights. USB outlet was not installed where I had indicated to salesman, but since I neglected to notice this mistake in the contract, understood that was on me. When I mentioned the situation to the salesman, he said, “If you want to move the USB outlet to the other location, you can move it yourself… it will cause more dust.”

They also forgot to order our Kohler faucet prior to the start of the project. The plumber re-installed our old faucet before it was rectified.

However, even given all the issues and fact that the project was not yet complete, our salesman had no problem texting me about the final balance (didn't bother to call to follow up, didn't bother to find out if the project was actually done, if we were happy, or if there were any issues).

Cornerstone seems much more concerned with cranking out volume than they are quality and customer satisfaction. Our project did not match the standards they claim (we go for WOW?!) and charge customers for. Very disappointed given the high cost of the work. Would not recommend.

UPDATE: Three weeks from the date of this review, this situation still has not been resolved.

We used Cornerstone for our guest bathroom remodel. We were very impressed from the beginning to the end with their company. The communication, professionalism, quality of work, craftsmanship, attention to detail and promptness. We would most definitely use Cornerstone again and highly recommend them.
