Unique Pavers did a great job replacing the worn pavers around our pool and lanai with travertine and replacing our cracked concrete driveway with pavers. Whether your home is a rental property like ours or your personal residence, I would highly recommend Unique Pavers if you are looking to take your home to the next level. Mike has a great eye for detail, was always available if we had questions and his crews were professional and courteous. We have already referred him to a number of our friends in the Cape and are looking forward to working with him again to transform our next project!

Review update September 17, 2020. Changed from a 2 star to a 4 star as Unique Pavers contacted me yesterday and fixed issues of pitch and transition as promised this morning. There was an issue with and employee being out therefore some communications got overlooked. Everything is corrected and hoping the rain will flow the water in the correct direction away from the house. Thank you Mike for the prompt response and fix as it is much appreciated. Why a 4 star? Have to wait and see when it rains if the pitch is correct and will adjust according. Thanks again for your prompt service.

Gonzalez: We bought an older home in the yacht club area of Cape Coral...I hired Mike at Unique Pavers to remove the old asphalt and install pavers on our driveway, re do our pool deck and re-finish the pool...the job was a success..our home looks great. Did a complete driveway and sidewalk tear out and reinstall new pavers in a very short amount of time. The workers and the workmanship were top notch.
Work was done two weeks ahead of schedule. The owner Mike was on top of every aspect to make sure we were completly satisfied.
Had project quoted by other companies, and Unique was very competitive and offered cost saving ideas.

Buyer be careful find a different contractor. Lack of communication is one of the issues along with failing to get permit approved, yet still charging us. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with our experience with Mike and his team.

Mike - in response to your response, which is not accurate.
1. We knew there would be a wait to get the permit processed, due to increase in requests following Ian. So that was expected.

2. Our contract was dated Nov 9 2022 - so we have been patient and it was with consistent questions and inquiries that we received any information on the progress and where we were in your schedule.

3. On the week of April 24 2023 you had a crew install the patio portion of our job. We still did not know the direction on the driveway project.

4. The patio portion of the project was not an add on - our quote of $12,100.00 included both the driveway extension and the 12’ x 7.5’ patio. Of which a $3,000.00 deposit was paid last November!

5. One month after the patio install we still didn’t know what was happening with drive way and asked to either change the project, cancel it or do something! Now we are being told that the driveway cannot be done and the patio portion of this job (12’x7.5’) magically costs the $3,000.00 we already paid. The drive way was to be approx. 18’x30’ plus a culvert. That is 630 total square feet. The patio is 90 sq. Feet so should be less than $1,700, which is just straight division. Even that is high because there was extra cost to do the driveway due to needing base rock, screening and the culvert. But the 2 pieces of the project were not itemized on the contract, so now we are paying more than what is fair.

6. Bottom line - We were quoted for a project, which had 2 pieces. Both required endless follow up. 1 piece was cancelled, which a good contract would have known the risks and suggested alternatives. 1 piece was installed and now being way over charged for a 90 sq foot patio.

Desired Conclusion to this. Cancel remainder of the project (driveway) and charge appropriate amount for the patio project and reimburse the difference. OR - provide a solution to the driveway, and install it in a timely manner. Also if the open permit needs to be pulled that MUST be retracted so that is not hanging out there. The contractor needs to do that, because you initiated it - not the home owner.

Unique Pavers did an excellent job. They were competitively priced and paid attention to detail during the quoting process. I have had numerous people walk thru our home since they completed the project and everyone compliments us on our new pool deck and asks who did the work. I highly recommend them.

We love our new patio! Can't wait for the furniture to arrive. Mike & Becky communicated through-out the whole process, from estimate- HOA approval- to scheduling- completion of project. Very flexible and accommodating when we changed our mind on design and size. Pleasant experience. 😊

I had the pleasure to work with Unique Pavers Designs this past week. We recently purchased a new home in Naples and had a paver-patio around the pool that was very uneven and unsafe. We chose to work with Unique and glad we did. From the start when Erin came out to review the job, I knew this was a good move. Michael the owner has been great too. The team that came out yesterday did a fabulous job. They tore up the whole area and fixed the problem. Laid the pavers back down, cleaned up, Hosed down the area and the patio looks great. Mike and his crew did an a incredible job laying tile on top of the existing cement lanai. They redid the coping along the pool and it is al absolutely gorgeous. Five stars for quality - I had my entire pool deck redone in ivory travertine. The quality of the work done is very good. It completely transformed my backyard! I am very pleased!
The only reason this is not a 5 star review is because I signed the contract in July of 2023 and it's January 2024 and the job is just now fully completed. Communication could have been better. I would say 2 stars for management of the job.

Unique Pavers did a great job putting in a paver sidewalk down to our dock. Mike was very understanding to our need and his crew are hard workers. Very satisfied with the job and would recommend them.

I used Unique Pavers out of Ft Myers for new driveway paver, landscape lighting, pool decking and a new pool interior for a home in Naples.

Mike Cullen did an amazing job paving our driveway and walkway in one day. He and his whole team were great to work with; very clean and professional. Mike don t answer to his message and the job done in my lot is terrible. Less than 6 months and blocks broken and when raining, water accumulated in some places. We text 2 time and never received answer from him.

Five Stars for the beautiful job Mike and his staff did on our driveway! From the first phone call I made to the office, I knew I had chosen the right company. Kris, the receptionist, was so pleasing to talk to and was never too busy to answer all of my questions. She was amazing! Every company should have someone like her as a receptionist! She told Mike what we were needing and all of our concerns and he came almost immediately. He thoroughly went over everything that needed to be done to make our driveway look its best, and then gave us an estimate. That is what our final price was. No other contractor could guarantee their estimate. You can really trust Mike! Right away he got the permit work from the city done, ordered the pavers, and got started with the work. Others said it would be months before anything could be started. We really appreciated Mike being here on site to make sure everything was done correctly. If I had any concerns I would talk to Kris. She would relay these to Mike, and he would be here.
So working with Mike and Kris was great, but the best thing of all are the pavers that he installed on our driveway. The quality of the product is fabulous, and they look beautiful!

I started this process over a year ago. As of today, no work has been done!
I’ve been promised multiple start dates and absolutely nothing has happened. Permits were pulled months ago, but still no action here.
I’ve been told several times that Mike will be starting on Monday - Never happens - Always an excuse. Most recent was Saturday, November 2nd “Mike will be dropping the equipment off to get started”! Still waiting!
At this point, I’m questioning a lot of things- lack of responses, financial solvency, etc, etc. If things change, I’ll update my review, but for now I feel like my $9000 deposit has been stolen and disappeared into the wind!
